Totally agree with @Schroeder3000 Let him be sad and serious about this matter...he shares his thoughts with us as he is a human being, that makes him very approachable. Humans are allowed to have different emotions, especially when you consider them as "friend" and not entertainment. Show more compassion that he is asking for everyone in regards of that, that includes himself and his human presence. Making a taboo of showing also sad emotions is making society more sick as people have their struggles and not everything can and should be shared but in this case alot of people have their emotional moments. All we can hope now is that everyone will adapt and overcome that in some way looking forward and that soon the situation will change into positive again. I live in good ol' Hollywood, California and to be watching looting and burning and so on just blocks away from my studio is something I never thought I would see in my lifetime. I keep saying to myself..."this too shall pass" and I firmly believe that. There are lessons to be learned and my fervent prayer is that people actually "learn" from these experiences so that we don't have to repeat them again....and again. God speed to you and thanks for your wonderful tutorials. If you are ever in Los Angeles, I would love to give you the 30 second tour of my studio and talk shop. Once I feel good enough to charge for my photography and photoshop services I hope to make a business out of it. In the last two years I have lost my Dad to cancer, my young wife to a stroke and now my business to a g;obal pandemic. To say it's been a trial for me and my two sons would be a massive understatement.
The one saviour to my sanity has been a passion for digital artistry and in the last few years it has taken my mind off the darkness, I have learnt nearly everything I know about PS through youyr tutorials and I/m super grateful to you.
No reason for commenting other than to say, "thank you" for providing me with a little sanity through much torment. Also, please accept our families wishes to you and yours,, in the hope you all remain safe and well. And make sure that you, 'keep creating'!!!!

Unmesh, thank you for being you. I used to be a photographer, but I developed a chronic illness about 12 years ago and I couldn’t anymore. A friend and I took Senior pics and we loved it. Then my husband - the love of my life - got sick. The doctors couldn’t figure it out, so he gave up looking for the reason and just figured it was the process of aging. On March 20th, he died. He had trouble breathing one night. I called the ambulance. The next day he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that had metastasized to all his other organs. All of them. They said he had three to six months to live, but two weeks after he was sent home, he died. I felt robbed. That was two days before the lockdowns started in my city. So it’s been hard to be alone. And it’s so hard to be without the man I loved. He was the best thing in my life. I’m trying to get back into photography. I feel like I’ve forgotten EVERYthing about it. I discovered you a couple of weeks ago or so. I like you so much. When you had that catch in your voice in this video, I started crying. I’m so grateful for you and the people who comment on your videos. Thank you for being there. I’ll be here, relearning and watching you with my two cats. You’re really special. I saw another video and when you were talking, your voice changed and you said, “I don’t know what happened to my voice just then,” and it made me laugh. So you’ve given me two strong emotions today. I can say ever since our lockdown in South Africa I've been indoors too most of the time, I used to edit a lot with Lightroom and knew so little about the amazing Photoshop.

Thanks for this. Hey, what my wife and I do so we don't go stir-crazy at home is we take trips. Every afternoon, we take a car trip to a city or town around 20 or 30 miles away. We don't get out of the car, and we don't interact with people, but at least we're out, get some fresh air and don't feel so confined when we go back home. It really helps (and we've been doing this for about two months). As for being outside, here is the latest research: "One study of 1,245 coronavirus cases across China found that only two came from outdoors transmission." I hope this helps.

Honestly, this pandemic made everyone re-evaluate their life. It is a terrible thing but this new lifestyle (lockdown) forced people go back to what matters the most. I am glad to spend so much time with my family and finally got time to go through all the online courses I purchased.

The way you teach Photoshop I have never seen anyone like this, as you are teaching a novice, covering each and every step. I have tried to learn photoshop from various books and youtube, but I have failed. As photography is my hobby, I always want to edit, but couldn't ever. After subscribing to your youtube channel I am learning how to edit to get some awesome effect, which I was looking for. You have so in-depth knowledge of Photoshop. I know my luck, i live in a decent appartment in Paris, I have a boyfriend that i love and we manage this confinment pretty well... But I struggled with depression for a very long time and now, with everything that happened, it feels like i'm going back and so i've decided to be hospitalized, to get help because i can't find a way to "go up the slope all by myself" (i search with google trad for this cause i don't know how to say that in english so i hope it is understandable)... So yeah, it's pretty hard but i try very hard to always see the bright side and appreciate my luck.
