Loved this batrep! I was already interested in making a little Custodian Bros army myself, but between the stuff going on the past couple days and this batrep, I'm absolutely going to be setting up a little specialist team after I finish my Plague Disciples :)
I love the variety you put into your videos. Constantly putting out new armies and showing how they fare against the previous winner is a great idea! Something I might recommend though: do a midweek game if possible. Take two armies from previous games that haven't faced each other and play them against one another.
Most DAO units have "Good Shot" shooting at quality +4, Spotting lasers increase the hit chance starting at the +4. Two spotting tokens removed would give +2 quality to shooting. Bonus note while playing team battles the spotting tokens may be removed by a friendly player.
for posterity I'll add that spotting laser is an individual model ability (not an attack), meaning you can split up the attempts to spot across as many targets as you have lasers!
Another great batrep with, to me, a surprise ending. I'm glad I'm not betting on these things. 😀I thought a relatively few elite units would to numbers.
OOOOOOOOOoooooooo!!!!!!!! Vampires vs sea elves!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE IT!!!!!!!! Great paint job on the Custodes!!!!!!!! My printer failed me last night. Do pre supports fail you? They fail me WAY MORE than 50%!!!!! I'll try to get my lore up this weekend. There are 5 factions. I'm going to try to make them up as a series of mission packs so when its all done the entire campaign will be its own replayable history. Sky navies are going to be a thing so I'll have to invent some rules. The river Styxs and floating hell islands are going to make for some FUN BATTLE FIELDS!!!!!
I do have some failures from time to time. It is best to know what your machine can do, it sounds like you may want to reduce your lift speed during printing.
One thing that doesn’t make sense to me is that this army is ported over from 40K. They have access to “Rhinos”. They are T6 and can transport 11 models. Regular battle brothers have access to a “Rhino”. It’s T6, transport 11, and has Fearless, so has the same special rule as Custodians. It’s 230 points base, 240 with Strider. Still not great for the Custodes, but the sisters could benefit from it quite a bit

Thats part of the reason I use the mission cards, partly to keep it unpredictable and also so I dont feel like I am favoring any army over the other.

They do fail, about 30% for me, most of the time the model is pulled off the supports, minimum fix is to add some stronger supports.

Im new hear but i want to try and use my other companys models to play OPR is there an good option for 1500pts beginner games.
when I go over the units it scales up ans down mostly. Are you asking for an army list?
