“Finally got one of these fuckin things” 😂 dude thats exactly how i talk! Rad video kept me entertained. Damn I gotta learn some of those spots. Sick rod rack too.
Love your videos - please make more. Super informative. It's middle of winter & I am stuck fishing from shore - any tips on where to go and what to throw in Newport this time of year? Last two outings got skunked.
@@jefflayne5656 thanks I appreciate that! Try fishing docks and pilings with a slow pitch that’s what I would do right now from shore. I found a few nice fish out deeper last time fishing low and slow
@@Artificial_Fishing Thanks for responding so quickly! Yes, that's what I was doing. Hitting the docks around the Fun Zone area - I'll just keep doing that and hope things pick up.
Did you ever find out what type of fish was that silver one? I'm working on a house off Polaris and Morning Star Lane (Dover Shores) and on my lunch break when I'm standing at the back of the house looking out into the water, i see alot of those silver fish jumping out. It's pretty cool. Nice vid
@@Artificial_Fishinghaha dam true that! , also bro do you know any good spots to fish for spottys at Newport ? I don’t got a kayak lol, that’s why I’m trying find a good spot on shore but I can’t, most of the people just kick me out, my son!
Ned rig with a berkley minnow but I’m not sure what was going on there. I was walking away to leave saw what was going on and casted at it. Every cast I would get short bit multiple times so I started setting the hook right away but they were getting foul hooked. I thought the first 2 had swiped at it and missed but after the third one I stopped cuz it’s pretty whack to foul hook fish. My guess is they were swiping and missing or there were hundreds of them out there I was bumping into left and right. Water was brown no visibility at all so I have no idea what happened. I’ve been asked about this a few times anyone that reads this what do you think happened?
@@Artificial_Fishing ok I see, I thought they were eating it. That makes sense I’ve only accidentally snagged them. they pull hard too and I hear they eat algae shit and plankton
@@Artificial_Fishing crazy, ive would havbe never thought mullet would eat lures, where did u you find them ? i want to see if i could hook some on trout gear 🤣🤣
