I love how the one guy (I didn't bother to learn who was who) comes in the ring for the triple pin, stops half way across the ring and simply leans forward and waits for his opponent to small package him for the pin.
And the sad thing is that a lot of people here in Mexico would prefer paying a ticket to watch Mil Máscaras or Canek wrestle in 20-fucking-18 instead of supporting the young talents because "old school wrestlers were real wrestlers"
I saw a match from Japan that had Mil Mascaras still wrestle, barely lept for a top rope crossbody so the guy who caught him was right close-by. That was how it closed out the match
That's wrestling in general, they love to wrestle plus unlike now where modern wrestlers have options after they retire. Old time wrestlers only know how to wrestle theres nothing for them after retirement.
I like Vinny a lot. But him contending that Rebel vs. Shelly was worse than this actually kinda annoys me. Yes, the finish in Rebel/Shelly is _way_ worse. But just watching these old men putter around the ring, vaguely hitting each other with shoulder tackles or whatever those are supposed to be is so agonizing to watch. Plus this match went longer. I dunno, to me, a full match of this kind of “wrestling” is so much worse to watch than a short women’s match with a couple bad botches.
I tried watching CMLL, I really did, as there are a ton of really great wrestlers on the roster... but much of the booking and many of the actual matches are just terrible... I guess some of it is 'just the lucha style'. But I don't know if that accounts for everything...
Vinny was wrong about Tirantes. He's actually younger than everyone except Villano IV and El Rayo de Jalisco, who were relative spring chickens compared to everyone else.

Ray DB first thing. Jeff jarette is a great wrestler. Vampiro is garbage i agree. But AAA has a OVERALL better show on a weekly basis. Also cant remember the last time i saw vampiro wrestle anywhere lol
PROPHECYTHERAPPER Jeff Jarrett is good for 2000 WCW standards lol, not for 2018 lucha libre, specially when they have so many great athletes in their roster. I guess it makes sense since AAA has been playing Vince Russo for a while now, just look at the match JJ won to become their top champion, it was a fucking overbooked mess. CMLL is pretty good, no overbooked bs, just solid wrestling. All the wrestlers in this match are great legends, just way way waaay too old
Ray DB have you seen jeff jarette recently? He can still go. Hes always been a good wrestler. Jumping and doing all that acrobatic stuff is fine but its not the only way to wrestle. Also hes a very nice guy outside the ring lol. AAA is better in MY OPINION. You are entitled to your own.

Hi
Still better than Froman Feigns vs. Jobby Trashley.
No it’s not
This is why AAA is better.
PROPHECYTHERAPPER CMLL usually has great wrestling, this was a legends night done for nostalgia. AAA has fucking vampiro and Jeff Jarrett Main Eventing on a regular basis
I am sure Cena or some wwe star has a worst match.
No, trust me, they don't. I have seen horrible CMLL and AAA matches. Weird that a mexican prefers american and Puro over Lucha, huh?

Cena's may have had matches where the psychology was over the place, the spots were dumb, and Cena went over under dubious circumstances but an out and about terrible match like this?
