    I'm sad they started deleting videos older than like 3 years on their channel. Watching Bryan fall out of his chair laughing was amazing!

  • @ztm999
    @ztm999 ปีที่แล้ว +22

    the fact this is FOUR YEARS OLD is insane to me, this was my peak of watching B&V live, I never missed an episode when AEW Dynamite started, this is an absolutely legendary rant, up there with the TNA rants, up there with the Gold Boat, Vince Russo’s book, Jenna and Sharmell.
    EDIT: The Goldberg line after the show is an alltimer too, I remember seeing Johnny Blud’s reaction, “I feel like shit. And I said ME TOO GOLDBERG!”

    • @CoffeeStain-Music
      @CoffeeStain-Music ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah I miss when Vinny not caring about anything was just a gimmick. He lives it now. I can't remember the last time Vinny had a quick, witty line or some interesting point. He just watches, comments, reacts to Bryan and doesn't care much either way anymore.

      Absolutely, and the sad thing is, it wasn’t Seth’s fault! It was his geriatric, out of touch, moronic boss who made the call to have a DQ in a HELL IN A CELL MATCH! It’s almost like Vince goes out of his way to ruin the reputation of those who bust their ass for him. Thank god there’s AEW and other places where pro wrestlers can go work and make a decent living nowadays.

      @@johnselwitz5362 He was being obnoxious on social media, he was being a total shill for the company that booked him into oblivion, he insulted fans directly, he was one half of the equation.
      He recovered a bit, by turning into the slimiest obnoxious heel character he could possible play, which was the only thing he could do other then leave.
      Honestly though does it even matter. WWE is dead, it has no hype, it has negative momentum, the only reason it's still making money is sleazy Disney-style bookkeeping and that won't last forever. It's corpse will limp on for a while longer and then it'll die and hopefully the territories will come back or pro wrestling just dies a quiet dignified death in america.

    Mankind got thrown off the top of the cell and (unplanned) through the cell roof, and the referee didn’t stop the match, and in that situation it would’ve been understandable because of Foley’s legitimate injuries. Fans may have still been unhappy if they stopped that Taker/Foley HIAC, but at least there would’ve been a justifiable reason to end the match. But stopping the Rollins/Fiend match was just so unbelievably stupid, like Vince doesn’t think anything through anymore. And Wyatt just ended up winning the title like a week later so what was the point?

    • @jonathanc7674
      @jonathanc7674 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yep. Plus the show opened with a good Cell match just like the previous year. Think this was Sasha v Becky. I remember watching it live and my Xbox on the Network started playing up after the Reigns/Bryan v Harper/Rowen match. Eventually, I gave up and went to bed. The fallout from this was everywhere in the morning. I wonder if my Xbox had a premonition about what was to come. The Fiend never recovered from this.

    A Disqualification...in a Hell in a Cell match? That referee is the dumbest on-screen official on planet earth while the conclusion buried Seth Rollins and The Fiend/Bray Wyatt. And honestly, who cared for the Universal Championship at that time? Umm...NOBODY.

      Turns out, it was not a DQ to be fair, it was a ref stoppage. A ref stoppage because Seth was doing what anybody would do in a Hell in a Cell match, to an opponent that woke up two seconds after the decision to kick Seth's ass. Few endings are as bad as that one.

The reason it was so bad was a god awful match, terrible finish, wrong guy won, and a rival company is debuting around this time so it would be best to capitalize on your biggest star at the time to make your fans happy and they ended up killing Bray’s momentum AND ruined Seth Rollins as a babyface top guy at the same time!
