- Trekking seems to be a trend for us! I thought I was exhausted last time but this time was no joke! I don’t know if it’s because I’m out of shape or there just wasn’t enough oxygen up there. 😂 Ramakalmedu stands tall in the Western Ghats at a height of 3,500 ft (1,100 m) above sea level.
I think my Indian husband was testing the limits of this American girl.
Constant wind is another factor which makes Ramakkalmedu unique. Wind blows at a speed around 35 km/hour (22 mph) throughout the year regardless of the season and time.
The windmill farm was like something out of a calendar. I couldn’t believe how massive they were!
The views of Kerala are constantly blowing me away. Can’t wait for more!
