P-51 Mustang at 135+ MPH

My P-51 Mustang Candyman with a YS 110 motor. Clocked at 135+ mph with radar. Pantera music and Adam Sandler. At Sepulveda Basin on Apollo Airfield

Do you have to cut out the firewall for the YS110 intake to clear? I build The Phoenix models Strega mustang with a YS110. The only thing I didnt like was that you had to cut away alot of the firewall. I crashed the plane because of a signal problem. I want to build another YS110 mustang but dont want to have to chop up the firewall.
