When ive got 101 i usually go 5 - 1 -3 then 17 - 1 - 7 then 3 - 20 - 0 then 0 - 0 - 1 then 19 0 - 15 then bust bust bust bust 1.. You know the story bahahaha... Some times we just play doubles ones because that's usually where it ends up..
Great and rather unique facts. In conjunction with your speech, I suggest to back it up by writing it up on some board (digital or analogue) at the same time. That will most likely increase the observers ability to learn :)
This is a class I’ve been trying to study… I need to learn more of the reasons for example 302= 18’s ( I’ve studied this one ) and the start on 19’s with 265 etc, I def need an advanced counting lesson, do you suggest any good reading material with not just the what’s but the why you do this… thank you again for the time you put in
I don’t about that one. I 100% agree with that logic if you have thrown at other sections on the board. I would also agree if the first 2 either block the T20 or aren’t anywhere close. But the first two sit in the board like this, I would stay there and go for the T20 because I could use them as a marker. And 41 is easier than 82. If I was Wade in this Situation, I would stay there because the first two darts sit so well. But I get it why you would go down to the 19.
Interesting, I know it is and also commonly said the bull is the smallest target on the board, but I've never really thought about how big it is when combined with the 25
Pleased I thought 19s or bull before you said it. I'd probably go 19s unless the lie for another t20 was really nice. A missed bull/25 with the last dart could be the start of making a real hash of it. At least next to t19 you've got t7 as well which would be a great second prize
I like going t17 on the last dart to leave 50. That way you can go for the bull on the first dart and rub your opponents face in it. Winning the psychological battle is as important as out counting the opponent. If you miss the bull still 2 to recover.
I have asked this question before to no avail. Why would you pro player master counters shoot bull on 66 rather than triple ten or triple 14? Makes no sense what so ever. Tell me how I am wrong.
It's entirely situantional. What your opponent is on, how well they are playing, how well you are playing, how many darts do you have in hand, etc. Personally (not a master counter) I would throw at T16 on 66, if my opponent is on a 2 dart finish, and I have 2 darts in hand - Leaves me either bull or D9 with one dart left. With 3 darts in hand, bull\25 is a bigger target that T10 or T14 - and a bull leaves 2 darts at D8, whereas a 25 leaves me 41 with 2 darts in hand still. Remember that a pro player is more likely to hit a bull than mere journeymen like myself ;)
A single 17 though still leaves 84 which is treble to double or miss the first dart you want the bull to close which is so much smaller than a double. 25/50 is the best mathematical route as it leaves single single to double or treble to double with 2
@@Edgartvdarts video on how or if this has affected performance? I’m sure I remember Phil or Andy doing an itv weight loss programme and possibly giving it up because it was impacting on their throw too much?

Brilliant video, we need more of these please, 101 with one dart in hand will be at the 19 from here on in 👍

100% defo doing that next time
That's going to be very useful. Thank you.
Really good that Matt, thanks mate
Great advice..
Looking good Matt.

Quality advice - and hopefully one day it will actually be of use :D

In this situation Wade did stay on 20s and hit a single leaving 81. 25/50 last dart does offer an even bigger hit change single single double

Can you please make a video about advanced counting? It would be great
So, if you are on 141 and have 1 dart left, would you rather go to the bull’s eye route as well in order to leave 116 or 91?
Just saying that out loud, I would say yes!!! Seems to go along with his point..
T20
Great video that matt what did you think of how Ryan played last night he is a dark horse in this I think
100%
You think he will win the world grand prix matt
Like how the video is 501 long 😀
1 dart in hand at 121 I like 57 to leave 64.

I totally agree. At 101 I'm going for the T17.
@@RyanJacksonElectrical then if you hit a single your still forced to hit a triple next turn or the bull
So if I have 101 to 105 with one more dart, I should go bull?
Oh yah that makes sense my dumbass goes for treble 17 on 101 cuz 84 a easy finish for me but I will definitely switch after seeing this

If you miss the treble, you have no finish on 14 and 10 but missing treble 16 and hitting single 16 leaves the bull.
64 whats the proper route ?
One dart? T-16/8
D16 D16
Or D19 D13 if you are Jose
I like a 17 in this situation if the 60 is blocked!

First, can I get a hello Mathew
How do 🙋♂️
Tell you what I never see is starting on 25/bull when on 305. Bull, 25, 60 … leaves 170…
Probably because most pros would go for 60, 60 and last dart at the 25/50 to leave 160 or 135 which are arguably easier than 170.
@@joegar72 possibly not sure 135 is easier than 170 though .. especially seen as you may have to go for 3 different targets
