Absolutely insane! I recalled seeing Sydney drag way streaming Powertune running their 760hp GR Yaris (RODE) and that thing ran 10's as well. i just posted a shorts video of it as proof.
I love watching videos when the owner understand their car's ins and outs especially the technical side of things and how it all ties together mechanically. Also props to Wesley for giving credit where credit is due to the people and companies that helped him. A humble guy.
@@MrDuongTV1there’s a TH-camr called officially gased and he showcases 800hp sedans doing 100-200kph in the 7s range as well. Little Yaris is Punching above its weight class for sure. Or maybe just a really low reading dyno? Nonetheless I want one even more than before now haha. Great video thanks for sharing.
@Archie997 Wesley's GR yaris is definitely punching way above its class. The sequential, turbo kit and tuning/timing is what makes it a great package. Unsure of final power figure because it was fine tuned twice on the track so definitely a little more more than 300kw. The team that put this together desgined a great package, they also have the world's fastest GR yaris (lamspeedracing)! So they know just a little bit about this platform hahaha

Yeah I haven’t seen this car on the internet or know who lamspeed is but I’m glad I got to experience watching and learning about it.
I bumped into Wesley in the wild once, very friendly guy. It was nice to see his car again. One of those hidden gems in Sydney. I wasnt familiar with what a Yaris Gr was and the more I heard about it from him the more I was impressed. GReat video! You guys were fun to watch. Smiles all round. Subscribed.
Great build indeed, and I agree, a blank canvas is the best canvas but for WTAC or any huge events, sponsors and contributors to the build deserve a show off!
Hahha this is by far the fastest car I've been in! The power:weight in this was crazy and sequential made it feel even crazier! The g force and kick back gets me even in a 100kw car 🤣🤣 i drive my wrx like a nanny even on the track, get scared very easily with speed
Wow! the amount of work the owner put into his car to the absolute detail is wild, nothing out of place or for "aesthetics" its purely built for purpose, form and function. we need to see more action video's of this thing! street car, 10s 1/4mile drag times, mountain monster and track weapon now thats a flex in its self, lots of cars are just built for one of these things. This is the perfect all-rounder car imo. and stock motor 3 cylinder!? we love an underdog that wins haha

@@MrDuongTV1 45mm waste gate is plumbed back as it's not legal to have external gate/s in competition circuit racing here. So no extra Instagram points unfortunately haha

Hey Tony, yes 1.5way front LSD and 1.5way rear LSD, Cusco in the rear and Drenth LSD in the front (comes with the sequential).
Very legit hard core car and owner . Should of shown more track driving video for mine . But good video my brother .

Hahah thats exactly what it sounds like on the inside, box of loose nuts and bolts. The interior is fully stripped (at the back anyway), full racecar

No valve float? I heard no mention of valve springs
Everything inside the engine is still stock. Motor remains unopened, just bolt on mods and a good tune
Wondering if a screamer pipe set up would benefit this any 🤷♂️👍 awesome build 🤝👍👊
It might actually, but I hope Wes has it plumbed back so it doesn't drown out the diff and gearbox noise
