I have the exact same combo. Really the ultimate work pant/ suspender rig. Filson's customer service is really good about either fixing or replacing their stuff.
how is the sizing? I'm 6' 3 and have bigger legs I guess compared to the models they use to standardize most pants by. I've found most pants I have to order a size or two up from normal to have enough room to function at work in them.

When they wear out send them in. I do and always get a brand new pair.

Are the buttons on the outside of the pants, but underneath the belt you are wearing?
Are these pants rough on the skin? Do you need to wear a base layer with these to keep them from rubbing you raw?
