KLEANTRIX hey bro I'm gunna start by saying that your videos are great, you have a cool personality... now my question is about these switchback lights. I have a 2015 Honda accord sport sedan and saw this video and immediately thought "I want these!" I clicked on your links and neither are sold by jdm astar, and the reviews say that the harness don't fit right so I wanted to see if you could shed some light on your experience with them... would greatly appreciate it if you could get back to me on this. I want them but don't want the purchase to be a waste. Hope you get back to me and thanks in advance, keep up the great work.
Do it right and drill holes to mount the resistors with screws to your frame for the most efficient heat transfer from the resistors. It will look much neater as well.
My experience would say otherwise. Had one of these things melt through zip ties and really hard plastic before. Now I use metal wire to help secure them to a metal surface.
I had them on my 04 TL for about 5 years. They showed NO signs of slowing down. One snapped almost in 2 from an accident but still worked. Glued it a little and still worked like a champ. JDMastar is the way to go. Wish I kept them when the car got totaled lol. Oh I wouldn’t put the resistors right next to each other.
I would highly suggest for the resistors to be mounted to the metal with screws. It will help dissipate the heat and give longer life to the resistors. I suggest for you to turn the hazards on and leave them on for 2 minutes. (maybe the longest you would have to wait for a light to turn green) Then feel how hot those get.
Yep, if you look up the melting point of zip ties, it's well over 400 degrees, I tested the resistors temp (I have same style resistors) and the hottest they got was 325 degrees.
Actually you should put the zip ties on each side of the resistors and not directly on them. The plastic will eventually melt and snap due to extreme temps the resistors put out.
This will be a good way to make my old but trusty '02 Focus look a little more modern. There are aftermarket grilles that look OEM but just swap the amber park/turn signal lenses for clear ones. That combined with this kit should look pretty classy.
looks great. I actually had the same one's you installed, they kept blowing out, couldn't figure out why. so eventually got a different switch back, they almost look the same but instead of black they were white instead very heavy aswell. Nothing ever happen to these ones, works perfect.
5:38 if the resistors become "Extremely Hot" then why are you using Plastic zip ties? you should have use metal zip ties. More over did you apply / thinly coat the bottom side of those resistor mounts with heat-sink compound?
Good idea to mount them in a proper place. Though why you would then use plastic zip ties over the center(hot) area of the resistor instead of the mounting holes on the sides.
I have the Jdm Astar PX chip based switchbacks coming for my 2013 Elantra, decided on these, because I did not want the very bright 30 30 chip, I have the red Astar for my stop tail light, they look bright and red.
I love your energy and enjoy your videos. I drive a 2004 BMW 325, I installed aftermarket projector lamp with hids but they don't do the trick, my beam is not bright enough. Can you please recorded an led lighting kit under 75 dollars. Also will they trow a code do I need a kit with a resistor built in. Thanks a million.
Who makes one that alternates between white and amber when it's flashing? I saw it on a truck looked good. I don't want one that is just amber on flash like this. White on, amber off, amber on, white off, and so forth.
I originally dont have DRL. I used leds that came with resistors. I dont have hyper flash, i have problem that while my parking lights are on (white led), when i turn on turn light it has a delay. Like normal turn light blinks twice while these led blinks only once. And it has a small delay while switching to orange/amber. It goes a bit white then amber. How can I fix it? Thanks
Hey I am doing this same setup with my car. Same exact car like yours. 2014 black sport. Now I have LEd head lights with the same fog lights you have in the description, the interior cigarette lighter lights and now I ordered this set up. Do I have to get a better battery mean should I go out and get a better battery. My friend is saying I should because I'm using too much power.
I always wanted to upgrade my 2006 Jaguar XJ8L head lights, I had ordered two in the past and the fittings and connections wasn’t compatible to the stock, it’s a D1S type. If you could help me out finding the brightest and whitest light bulb (5500k-6000k) high lumens, will more than appreciate
If I've installed the LED turn signals with load resistors on the front of my car - kind of like what's done in this video. Do I also need to install load resistors when I install the turn signal LED bulbs on the rear of the car as well? Or, does is one set of load resistors enough? Can't seem to find info when installing LED bulbs on the front and rear and how many sets of load resistors are needed. Thanks all.
THANK YOU for all of your Videos, I appreciate your enthusiasm. Which 'Headlight' LED bulbs and SWITCHBACK LED's, would you recommend for a '14 Forster ? Best place to purchase? Thank You most kindly & keep Testing W/Your GREAT Videos... B. VIn Centi
I bought resistors just like yours and it didn't fit in my Honda Accord sport 2014, I don't know why but a couldn't plug it, the plastic tabs didn't match with the holes in my car, could you help me up please I don't know what to do
i have flickering issue with white color. is there any solution for this problem. they work fine 5 min and after they flicker. resistors are only on turn signal wires.
How the visibility of the turn signals during the day? I know some led are less visible during day. And are the running lights blinding at night when the low beams are also on?
Turns are visible, running lights are very bright at night. On my Miata its low enough that I don't think it bothers anyone, I am also running LED headlights so they may overpower the running lights. Check my channel I have these exact same bulbs demonstrated.
These lights are absolutely amazing in the day time, they are much brighter than the OEM bulbs the accords come with. But you are correct, in the night time they do seem rather too bright, there is too much spread, and it may bother oncoming traffic.
Do you know of any replacement LED with resistors built in? (yellow / yellow not white/yellow). I just got my 2015 Accord EX-L model with all the goodies, I have already upgraded the trunk, license plate, rear signal, dome lights to LED, just missing the front signalGreat work with all the updates though :)
I clicked the link to the switchback and it says that it doesn't fit my vehicle. I have a Honda Accord 2015 EXL-V6. My vehicle should still be in the same gen as your vehicle since this was before the 2016 design refresh. Will this product still fit my vehicle or will it different?
Those resistors get SUPER hot. Is there anyway to replace the relay in the fuse box? On my bike I did that and got no extra heat, nice equalized flash. Awesome videos by the way. You're so charismatic and your videos are super helpful. I'm a new fan and a big fan. Looking forward to your future videos. Keep them coming!!
Hey love your LEDs. I want to put some on my car but can't find them anywhere. My headlights use D3S bulbs. It's 2011 Audi S5. I'm having issues with my HIDs and LEDs look way better. Also would they show any errors on my dash or I would have to buy some resistors or some sort of a kit.
Hey Bro, I bought the same JDM Astar Switchback bulbs as well as resistors but my harness is rectangular and yours are rounded. Did you buy an adapter? I have a 2016 Honda Accord Sport sedan. I was wondering what resistors I would need.
VLED Switchbacks. Been through some bad experiences with switchbacks but the vleds are pretty sweet. Pricey but my 2014 Accord sport looks sweet with them.
The plug & play kit on the link you provided is sold out. Is there any other place I can buy one?? I want the switchbacks but, just like you, I hate splicing and messing with wiring. Willing to pay $$
Im am in the process to update all my bulbs for LED on my Accord. I am following your advices, unfortunatly the resistors are out of stock. you have any idea when will be available? or is there any other option?
Hello Kleantrix, I have a question for you, I am planning to install switchabck, low beams led and Highbeam led's on 2013 Honda Accord lx as you have suggested in couple of your videos. I am worried will battery be able to handle 3 resistors for each of these bulbs? I really appreciate if you can share your experience if you have encountered any or suggestion for me
I have the exact same car as you and it says when I click on the link it doesn't fit the car. You know when you select your car model and amazon lets you know if it will fit it or not

KLEANTRIX will these work for a 2011 accord coupe? Please help
KLEANTRIX would this fit mi honda accord sport 2016
KLEANTRIX
Can u help me i want some switchback leds with the resistors for mi 2016 honda accord sport

Do it right and drill holes to mount the resistors with screws to your frame for the most efficient heat transfer from the resistors. It will look much neater as well.
What do you recommend for drilling into the metal? Or how should you mount the resistors?
Drill Bits? Self Tapping Screws? Anything like this?
"This gets extremely hot" mounts it with plastic zip ties.....
lol i know eh? total dofus
Asa Kabuss it doesn't get hot enough to melt the zip ties.
My experience would say otherwise. Had one of these things melt through zip ties and really hard plastic before. Now I use metal wire to help secure them to a metal surface.
Tennis Ball I've got half an inch wide zip ties on mine and it hasent shown sights of melting.
car probably already caught fire by now
I had them on my 04 TL for about 5 years. They showed NO signs of slowing down. One snapped almost in 2 from an accident but still worked. Glued it a little and still worked like a champ. Seams like a yes man for anything that comes his way with leds
Billy mayes sure taught us how enthusiastic presentation creates a certain effect. But wait! There's more!
Sounds like dude just won a Ferarri. Lol chill it's just LED bulbs haha
right haha
Jorge Toledo Real nice. Knocking a guy for being passionate about something
@Me ssina Burnnnnn
Looking nice but won't the resistors burn off the zip ties?
No the Zip ties are good quality.
Yep, if you look up the melting point of zip ties, it's well over 400 degrees, I tested the resistors temp (I have same style resistors) and the hottest they got was 325 degrees.

Bruh you got the sauce for sale 2 of your videos saved me like $350 bucks
5:38 if the resistors become "Extremely Hot" then why are you using Plastic zip ties? you should have use metal zip ties. More over did you apply / thinly coat the bottom side of those resistor mounts with heat-sink compound?
I have all jdm astar 3030 type bulbs on my accord and it came out perfectly. Best quality bulbs.
DRLs are meant to dim or turn off when headlights are on. Both amber and white look way to bright at night.
Shoulda used steel zip ties. The plastic will melt. Those resistors get fookin hot!
Bulbs are awesome! Very bright! Ordered from Amazon! Thanks for the video!
I want those bulbs but people say they get hot is it true
great job dude. you get crazy props for that install.
thank's bro! Just got my switchback's & transistors today! can't wait to install them in my miata.
Anywhere else where I can get the resistors? They are unavailable on Amazon right now. It's also for my Accord Sport
Try eBay. They have a variety of them.
O'Reilly auto parts

Mine are very backwards 🤦🏾♂️ it's white when I hit the turn signal. When I turn off the signal it'll go back to a STILL normal "orange" color
Dutchie Tha Boss I feel like mine are gonna do the same but once I get them in ill update on results. Have you figured out why yours do this?
Are these the same color, brighter or dimmer than Auxbeam lights?
Who makes one that alternates between white and amber when it's flashing? I saw it on a truck looked good. I don't want one that is just amber on flash like this. White on, amber off, amber on, white off, and so forth.
Very nice find on the plug and play resistors
I do love your videos very much as your are both funny and enthusiastic, keep them coming ..... let's get to it.....

Gavin S the resistors in the front is enough.
Awesome, thanks. Just did the front turn signals and they work great. Going to do the rear this weekend.
Very helpful thought I’d have to pay someone to splice into my wires. Didn’t know they had plug and play.
Can I get these so they are just amber but still do both parking and flasher function?
Do you have to have your day lights light on because mine are disconnected and me installing it won't work
Has a bit of a delay returning from the Amber to White lights
very tight area. You may wait to consider removing the front bumper and Headlight assembly.

I have a 2016 CR-V which uses 7440 (not switchback). I wanted to know, is it possible to "change" my setup to replace with these switchbacks?”
Yes, just make sure to get the right size
Would I need resistors for the rear turn signals as well and would these plug and play work?
Need some high beam lights for my 15 Honda Accord as well, I just ordered these after watching your video
Hey is there any particular reason you stopped using JDMastar bulbs?
I clicked the link to the switchback and it says that it doesn't fit my vehicle. I have a Honda Accord 2015 EXL-V6. My vehicle should still be in the same gen as your vehicle since this was before the 2016 design refresh. Will this product still fit my vehicle or will it different?
Did u change the high beam 🤔
Damn mannnn, those led switchbacks are sick as heck!!! Love your review, now I am going to purchased those after the end of this video! lol
If your worried about heat from the resistor, why use zip ties?
how much do i need to shave off the tabs i did the two small ones but still doesnt sit properly should i do the bigger one as well?
You make great informative videos. Keep doing what you do.
Do you have this LED in RED / AMBER for a brake light?
.. and put this guy, into this guy..
Haha!
Does this light up the road better at night?
Does anyone understand what he says right when he opens the video
these videos are soo funny. Some of your sentences don't make actual sense. lol
Because Red bulls
can you please tell me which Bulb and loader need for 2016 Honda accord. i need just like yours swichback white/yellow..
How are the resistors holding up? Any heat issues? What kind of zip ties did you use?
The resistors are holding up well! No Heat issues what so ever. I ordered these: amzn.to/2cicIG6 They work well.
I'm not sure if there will be any errors on your Audi S5. Look at forums to see what others are doing with a replacement for the D3S bulb.
Hey Bro, I bought the same JDM Astar Switchback bulbs as well as resistors but my harness is rectangular and yours are rounded. Did you buy an adapter? I have a 2016 Honda Accord Sport sedan. I was wondering what resistors I would need.
High beams bro?
how do you shave a little off the two smaller tabs.
Did they harm your headlights at all when you had to trim it to make it fit?
do the switch backs stay amber with just the parking lights on?
Hey, will this recistor also stopped the rear lights as well? Or does it needs one per each light?
what length zip ties did you use to tie down the resistors? would 6" length zip ties work?
Looks great! Keep these videos up!
Thanks man!
why mount two resistors together? doesn't the heat transfer from one to the other?
Where can I find switchbacks for 2017 Honda Accord Sport, I've been looking everywhere and can't find any...
Teo Lucero Need some to brotha ! Not sure if they made some yet lmk if you find anything !
I found some at JDMASTAR website, I''ll let you know how it goes once I get them.
Teo Lucero vleds.com
VLED Switchbacks. Been through some bad experiences with switchbacks but the vleds are pretty sweet. Pricey but my 2014 Accord sport looks sweet with them.
Erick Umana are all switchback delayed when they switch back to white?
Hey is the plug and play resistors compatible with a Honda civic 2006 my lights are h1
The plug & play kit on the link you provided is sold out. Is there any other place I can buy one?? I want the switchbacks but, just like you, I hate splicing and messing with wiring. Willing to pay $$
Hey dose those work without those wires you got? Do they work just by inserting the led switchbacks to the original socket
great video, but PLUG and PLAY Resistors is unavialiable, where I can buy it? and I Can use as DRL too? thank!
Hey the link takes me to another brand switchback turn signal “ GLL” but you got jdm astar
thanks for the information it's high/ low beam also the H13. right
I can't wait to swap my 13 accords lights to led now
Im am in the process to update all my bulbs for LED on my Accord. I am following your advices, unfortunatly the resistors are out of stock. you have any idea when will be available? or is there any other option?
Yeah man they run out fast. However here are some that will work also. amzn.to/2lXCNPx
Is the resistor kit also required for the rear led bulbs?
what happen to the auxbeam low beams lights. r these better?
Hello Kleantrix, I have a question for you, I am planning to install switchabck, low beams led and Highbeam led's on 2013 Honda Accord lx as you have suggested in couple of your videos. I am worried will battery be able to handle 3 resistors for each of these bulbs? I really appreciate if you can share your experience if you have encountered any or suggestion for me
Very good job so he continued. all your videos are very well
Thanks for the much needed answers man.
what brand of hids do you recommend? what's the best ones u used if u had them before
Did those zip ties ever melt?
Hi Can I use the double-sided tape on the resistors to stick on the metal frame ? Or will it melt on over heat
Jegathratchahan Duraisamy It will melt. Screws are the best.
KLEANTRIX sure thank you
U know what resistors to use for a 2016 honda accord I been looking but cant find any. Thought u might know. Thank you
Any video for the 2016 Accord Switchback upgrade ?
would these fit a Toyota Camry 2015 SE?
Of all led headlights you have tested which are a lot bro. Btw great videos.
Which is the best led headlights. Please let me know . Thanks bro
Do you still think these are good switch backs
Do you have the part number for the 6 cylinder models for the parking lights/front strip lights??
wht about high beam led lights if i want to put high beam on honda accord so do i need to take out whole bumper out
The Resistors Are Currently Out Of Stock. Is There Anywhere That I Can Grab Some? Any Recommendations? Thank You!
I have the exact same car as you and it says when I click on the link it doesn't fit the car. You know when you select your car model and amazon lets you know if it will fit it or not
Yeah sometimes Amazon isn't updated... Idk why.
Can I use this on my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee?
