The first bowl of noodles were originally called 'boat noodles' because they were traditionally served on boats. That's also the reason the portions are so small, since the cooks couldn't carry much weight on their boats. When thai people eat boat noodles we like to stack the bowls as high as possible, it's a fun little game :)

My 35 year old obese Asian American friend feels right at home but the funny thing is all these old foreigners just talk crap about each other. It’s ok,e the bottom of the barrel fighting for whose the best of the absolute worst. They are the fuel that make Thailand go… I guess😂.

Those comments are uniquely funny. Subtle, out of blue, with an innocent voice and are so underrated.
The youtube algorithm seens to be messed up. Videos wih similar thumbnail and content occasionaly have significant disparity of views. People seens to enjoy more food’s reviews… however how can someone that don’t know you can be atracted by something entitled “i went to a stranger…” or “i made food camping…” those were great great content. I mean, I’m far from knowing anything about producing videos or marketing, still i think only your loyal followers would be captured by those titles because they already know your personality.
In the future, when you reach millions of followers, they will have more appealling. Like a K Pop star doing some trivial stuff.

Haha I totally understand. There are things that I truly enjoy that TH-cam doesn't seem to recognize as 'marketable' or 'popular'. Like you said, I think I just need to have a greater following so that even if smaller percentage of people watch my contents, I can still make a decent living.

@@jimmykimtv Agree, they are just _normal_ and polite in the best way possible? I mean, i'm non westerner and i was in a pretty much every part of the world, even the north and south pole. But thai people, they are relaxed and accepting in a different way. Good experience, would recommend!

Food is not only cheap. They look so Beautiful and with ingridients expensive in places like Philppines and Japan. Love the noodles look and their souvenir shirts are great. I really miss Bangkok. I want to go to Bangkok to drink Pomegranade juice and eat lots of Garlic Chicken.

I don't recommend the TukTuk at all. It is an open vehicle, so you'll get all the dust in your face / on your clothes and especially the price is not cheap at all. Sure, for some non-locals 100 baht is not that much, but a 15 min drive in a taxi is 99.9% cheaper, about 40-70 baht. Not much maybe, compared to a TukTuk but it adds up. Also, in that case you don't even have to hassle with them to lower the price from 200 to 100, thinking you made a good deal. I recommend using Grab ordering a Taxi as it shows the current rate from your place to the place you want to go to and you can pay via the app so in the end they cannot say they want 50 baht more for example. Still enjoyed the video, just like all your others! Keep it up
I agree with you, which is why I recommended just taking a taxi or using Grab. Tuk Tuk can be cheaper, but only if you can haggle it a lot. Grab was surprisingly affordable too

You should have tried some luxury barbershop in Thailand. I think would be cool to see how luxurious you can do things in Thailand, but how it's affordable compared to Western countries. Like you could have tried Black Amber Barber Shop in Thonglor in BKK. Quite luxurious, but still cheaper than most nice USA barbers!

Im Thai. And we all went thru that barber experience😂😂😂😂. But dont worry they usually over-cut it so when it grow back a bit (think it like a setup) it will be great. Kinda make sense you know, people go to cheap shop because they usually not have much money so mr.barber over-cut every hairstyle.

You should try getting massages in Korea from the blind girls. These are government sanctioned massage places. Actually, the blind are the only ones in Korea who have licenses to give massages in Korea.
