    Please follow his instructions. Found one bug Sept 1st immediately went to TH-cam. Laid down DE. Still bites (I’m the only one of 3 in house) Ordered Crossfire Oct 7th and reapplied Oct 18th just in case we missed any area. Also used 2nd application to include my car. Today, Nov 1st have not been bitten or seen evidence in weeks. We had a very mild infestation and a very severe case of obsessive behavior changing sheets and inspecting every inch of my house. Sitting here today I finally feel I’m recovering from the trauma. Skip all other products here on TH-cam and use crossfire as soon as you’ve identified a bed bug in your home. Don’t forget to treat your car as well.

      Many people use a plastic el-cheapo sprayer and do just fine. A B&G isn’t required to treat it just does a better job

    You are just so unbelievably generous with your information and detail. I am constantly impressed with every video I see of yours. My question at this moment is, why not spray the floors? If the bed bugs have to walk on the floors to get from where they are to the person, why is that not a good strategy to getting them? Thank you, sir.

    • @GreenAkersPC
      @GreenAkersPC  ปีที่แล้ว +12

      Treating the floors is not needed and bed bugs rarely crawl over wide open areas like floors. They live near baseboards and areas around beds not far away so that they need to travel across the floor. The label for crossfire says not to use it as a broadcast pesticide as well.

      One of my problems is that I live in a house with okd fashioned hrd wood flors with gaps between.And I can see the bites-they smeak past my corcs and bite my ankles.They don't need to hide anywhere else.I have ended up covering my floors with foam board.Yesterday I got multi bites on my ankles -just becuse I was sitting in one spot.Yet I cannot find them(I brought them home from my son's place)_Any suggestions for the old type of hadwood floors?

    Do young bed bugs give less violent bites than adult bed bugs? Previous bbug bites stay with me for weeks and leave bruises. After spraying with another brand, before finding you, I saw one small bbug near the ceiling and I killed it. I know they're nesting and don't believe for a minute that they're gone. Seven days later I sprayed that other brand again. NOW I sometimes get a couple of small itchy bites that disappear in 24 hours, I'm wondering if they come from young bbugs. I just did a Crossfire spray 2 days ago, which is 10 days after my previous spray. I dusted my outlets. Crossfired the car. Thanks for all your info. Especially thankful for the mental health video. I can win this war!

      I have the same problem, in the beginning the bites were bigger, very itchy, after Terminex came a few times the bites got much smaller and barely itched, gone in about a day. Been 4 months still getting these tiny bites. Last time I saw a dead bug was one and a half months ago. Very mild infestation, only saw one live baby one 4 months ago, and then 3 dead ones since. Sprayed with crossfire two days ago hoping for the best. Jason is the best!

So I have a question. I’m one of them that has been getting bit and have torn my place up and have found not a single bug of any kind. So here’s my question… when I sprayed the cracks in my ceilings over my bed, like particles dripped out with excess chemical. (Raid bedbug 😕) was that possibly bedbugs or dust. I’ve lived in my place 29 years and have never put any sort of liquid in that area except paint. I’m going damn crazy with this. I have been get bit for three weeks now

    I really wish I lived in your town to hire you. I have bed bugs, been talking to contractor that only deals with bed bugs. I have been using DE and essential oils. I am thinking of hiring him as he uses Crossfire and heat treatment. I am a single elderly woman at 77 years and am not up for treating myself. I have been watching you for weeks.Just watched the video n you stated have to wait 90 days to treat after using DE n oils.. I and my dog are getting bit. I asked this man if his company would come back in a few weeks and he stated no gives a 90 day guarantee but if I want year it would be $350. Would this be advisable in your opinion. Also I really need to get this done. I only used DE n oils to get some relief. Can I call you as I have numerous questions. I would pay for your time. you also suggested not to use mattress encasement, why? Also should attic be treated, I live in FL with heat index of 101+ every day so would room not AC would that have to be sprayed...so many questions. We don't have many companies that treat bed bugs only.Please help me...God bless you for all your advise.

      organic is best. Crossfire. The other makes bb not come around repels them But it don't solve issue. Crossfire does not repel them and when they come through the spray they die. And when using the store bought u can't use crossfire cause the non organic repels them. So now gotta wait 60, 90 days to use Crossfire.

      U can use a paint brush also. I use a Harbor freight 1 gallon sprayer. But I had to cut a glow stick in half, poke a hole and insert a 3 inch straw from a wd40 can. That way it don't drip. It just don't have the pressure like a BnG. HF has no wand. It's attached to the bottle. I spray a small, thin line like a fence around bed, base boards etc. I followed what he said and I've been free of BB.

      @@kitjasabsgabs1830 thanks I have sprayed twice so far but I honestly believe it was a bad infestation bc a friend lived here for about 3 years and last year she got bed bugs, then she moved to another place. I guess thinking she could get rid of them that way. Tried to tell her you can’t but now I am fighting to get rid of these dang things. Never in my life have I ever had these.

      @@reginaedwards897 hi. no shame in having bbugs. they're found in the fanciest ritziest places.
      I'm old. Had my first encounter in my life in February 2023. Used liquid temprid twice, liquid crossfire once. Last treatment march 21 2023. Did all baseboards, ceiling crowns, bedframes, box spring interiors, headboard, sofa frame interior, chair legs and backs. Been no sightings or bites for 4 months now.
      You gotta go medieval on them at the start of the battle. It's grueling. But worth it.
      I'm still wary. I just got comfortable a month ago to stop taking my clothes off in the basement and throwing them in the dryer before entering my living room.

    So is it safe to put Diatomaceous earth in electrical sockets and behind outlets and not be bothered by the dust?
