I ride from Afyonkarahisar to Eğirdir, across Anatolia. On the way, I camp in an abandoned house. After climbing two passes over 1300 meters high, I reach the stunning Eğirdir lake.

Camping in the Anatolian steppes during the winter is a great courage. You should be thankful you didn't freeze there. It's very nice that you visit places that I haven't even seen, which aren't very touristic in fact, but have their own beautiful features. A different experience from the eyes of an outsider.
By the way, mantı is actually a dish that is common all over the country, but has many different varieties, especially in Central Anatolia. It could be called a kind of ravioli, but it only has meat in it.

Fantastic video, Yves. Beautiful part of the world you have shown us today. I didn't envy your camping experience but I did want some of that manti. I checked out the recipe and its really a bit like a bolognese with a yoghurt mint sauce (and did they add garlic in yours?). The Turks love their yoghurt and herbs. Such healthy food.

Glad that you like the videos! And about the trike, maybe at some point I will make a video like that, but so far I am very busy with videos on what happens on the road, so maybe in a few months. Otherwise, I can recharge the trike on any electric plug. Regarding the range, it depends a lot on the topography, let's say, if it's hilly, I can do around 50 km with one battery, and if it's mostly flat, I do around 100 km with one battery. And I have 2 batteries. Hope it answers your questions.

​@@KinoYves Yves, as tu déjà visité l'Est de la Turquie mais en plein hiver ? C'est vraiment autre chose. C'est ce qui fait la magie de la Turquie, ce pays qui a des étés chauds et secs mais aux hivers glaciaux. En Hiver, en Turquie il fait jusqu'à -45 degrés. Je ne sais pas si tu l'as déjà fait, mais essaye les villes de Kars, Erzurum, Van, Ardahan, Artvin, Yozgat, Sivas, en hiver, il neige 24 heures sur 24, il fait froid 24 heures sur 24, tout gèle, y compris les cours d'eau et une partie des rivières, lacs, etc. Il y en a qui le savent pas mais la Turquie est un des pays aux hivers les plus froids et rigoureux. Contrairement à l'Europe de l'Ouest où il neige très rarement, en Turquie, dans les Balkans, et la région du Caucase, il neige chaque année, chaque jour d'hiver, un froid pur. Même des hommes ad'affaires des pays arabes du Golfe, viennent en Turquie en hiver pour y voir de la neige et du froid, pour la première fois de leur vie. En 1990, dans la province de Van, il y a fait -42 °, c'est pour l'instant le record d'Europe de la température la plus basse jamais enregistrée. Eh oui, c'est rigolo de dire ça mais il fait plus froid en Turquie qu'au Groenland. C'est du au fait qu'il y a bcp de massifs montagneux, de chaines de montagnes, en Turquie, et qui reçoivent, dans sa partie de l'Est surtout, tout le froid glacial qui vient du Caucase et de Russie. J'aurais tant aimé visiter la Turquie l'hiver..

About the fire, I guess on one side I am too lazy to look for wood and make a fire, and I also don't like the idea of making a fire near my tent, because the risk of the fire burning my tent is way too high for me. A tent like that burns in just a few seconds, so a fire near my tent is a life threatening risk for me. And I didn't expect the temperature to be that cold during that night, so I just didn't see it coming.
And yeah, Bosnia and Serbia were definitely the places where I had the most fun so far.
