      If you knew anything about the craft of welding and fabrication as a whole, you would realize you never stop learning something new.
      The fact that you took the time to try and sound witty and arrogant shows you are lacking the skills and knowledge you don’t realize you dont have yet. Some day brother, some day.

    Looks great! Two suggestions - 1) Make yourself a "vertical" jig for getting those taps dead straight 2) Consider copper caps for the clamps before the plastic melts off ;)

    People around my area that are into woodworking and metalworking are rethinking their assembly tables. I am among them. This fantastic creation of yours has just caused me to give away my 4x9 assembly table which has served me well over the years and build a welding table-assembly table hybrid! Outstanding ideas implemented into this thing of beauty. Well off to the bank to assault my retirement funds for this idea. I'm going to build a whopper of one and hopefully that will be my last table - don't know how much time I have left but I'll enjoy it all the while.
    Great job.

  • @phillhuddleston9445

    Looks good but I think you may have trouble with weld spatter and small chips constantly getting in your threads on the holes on the top of the table. You may want to keep set screws in them when not in use to protect the threads.

    • @BainHAMMER
      @BainHAMMER 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      splatter protection spray (or some sort of consistent grease I suppose) could prevent them from sticking too hard
