I admire how both Jason & Sam in there own way tried to cover for each other. And the complement from Jason, it just seemed as though he made sure that he and Sam started off in a good place after the rescue.

Jason settled for Liz because of Jake and because he didn't ever think he could get Sam back. Seeing her with his child after the rescue allows him to want Sam and his son. I think he broke up with Liz so he could possibly get back with Sam
Jason on and Sam are adrenaline junkies... Lucky was right the night they returned Jake, he told Elizabeth Jason was her drug of choice, and the Jake abduction was her rock bottom... from one addict to another he was spot on...
I think Jason broke up with Elizabeth because he wanted to get back with Sam and not because of Jake. If he really wanted to be with Elizabeth he would have found a way to keep Jake and Cameron safe.
+Cheron Smith there reason that Jason wasn't willing to be Liz and her boys is because if you remember this is the reason that he gave up Jake in the first place because Liz said that it would be dangerous so if he just all of a sudden decided to be with her after all of the lies and everything else don't you think that it would have all been for nothing. With Sam she knew the risks but she wasn't worried about them. Carly told him before that he could have a family just like Sonny does. I just think that he cared about Liz but he wasn't in love with her he was in love with Sam and all he ever promised her was that they would have a family I think that he wanted to keep his promise.

Jason knew the Liz would never be able to handle his world and kept pushing her away, but for some reason, the rationale that made her keep Jason from his son did not translate to her. A lot of people think that Jason "Settled" for Sam. I could not disagree more. Same was the best suited to live in Jason's world. She was his female counterpart. And They both would have moved heaven and earth to protect Danny. Jason would have done the same for Jake. But it was, from the get-go, Liz's call.

Every single time I look at this I have to laugh Jason saying "I've been Dating Elizabeth" seriously since I didn't watch them during that time maybe they did go out on a date like out to eat, walked in the park or went to someone's wedding together maybe they even went to Italy together oh wait they didn't or anywhere else that would be considered a date. Well going to a hotel room or meeting up at a safe house or at her studio is considered dating who am I to judge evidently Jason believed they were dating. You (Any Liason fan) might ask me if I didn't watch them how would I know if they went on a date well simply put TH-cam.
Re-watching these and just occurred to me. How did the Russians know to snatch Jake. I mean there were two kids there why Jake. Soooo this secret that Lizard insisted that Jason keep, wasn't much of a secret if the Russians knew.

Well, it's like what Sam was trying to explain to Jason as one of the possibilities. Cameron was told to stay hidden, and maybe Jake didn't.
