I love this game! Thanks for the play through. Been really enjoying your gameplay videos. Haunted Carousel is such a good game. I love the characters in this one, and the voice actors do a really good job. Plus the Miles the Magnificent Memory Machine thing is so cute. This game has simultaneously the best and worst soundtrack of any ND game, in my opinion. The best because it is atmospheric, memorable, emotive, and just really different from any other ND soundtrack. The worst because it is often way too loud, tonally inconsistent, and trying too hard to lend a REALLY creepy vibe to a game that is fundamentally not that scary (which isn't a bad thing!)
How do you play these games? What OS? And what are your OS video settings? Compatibility mode? My game doesn't look nearly as smooth as yours. It's not because my computer can't handle it.
I play off Windows 10, games are available by steam, Herinteractive and a bunch of other online places - genuinely don’t know the details of my video settings or compatibility tbh but if you’re looking for optimization there’s plenty of helpful forums online on the topic!
This was the first ND I ever played as a kid. I’d give anything to be able to play it for the first time again.
