- After careful planning my family and I purchased new items and reused previous purchases from IKEA to reorganize our small space to meet the changing needs of our family. We live in just over 1000 square feet with a family of four and not enough bedrooms to go around. We’ve been struggling with how we would set up a more substantial bedroom/nursery area for our toddler daughter in our main living area. We’ve also needed a more affective way to house our daughter’s toys without sacrificing the entirety of our living room floor space. In this video we address both of these small space dilemmas.
If you’re new to my channel: Hello! I’m Rebecca. I’m a registered nurse, mom, wife and mild-mannered bad ass living in a small house just north of Denver, Colorado. My channel documents my family’s journey to get out of debt.
The videos I create have an emphasis on creativity, resourcefulness, budgeting, frugality, enjoying the debt-free journey, DIY, small-space and intentional living, happily making do with less in all aspects of life and minimalism. I hope you enjoy spending time here! Welcome!
Shout out to @nevertoosmall for their endless inspiration when it comes to minimalism and small space design.

Very successful and clever solution! It's refreshing to see that you've used creativity and unconventional ideas to make the relatively small living space functional and homely for your family. The square meters of the house are not small by European standards, but it is certainly a challenge that there are only 2 bedrooms and you are 4 people. Well done!
Thank you so much! I really do love my house, and you’re right about the size being comparable to the average size of homes in a lot of other countries. I was largely inspired by the creative uses of space in homes I’d seen in other countries like France, Spain the UK in videos on TH-cam! As always I truly appreciate your comments :)
