    I remember probably in my late teens/early twenties, when I first started seeing people free dive with great whites(meaning outside a cage.) I guess I guess I just sort of assumed that that's when people first started doing it. It seemed like a slow progression from cameramen getting underwater shots from a cage, then having bigger "windows" in the cage to get better shots, then having folding windows/doors on the cages to lean out of when it was safe, to using the main door on the cage and venturing farther and farther out, until they were essentially out in the open.
    Now I'm wondering when(and who) first started diving without a cage with great whites. I absolutely love watching Ocean Ramsey's videos on social media, where she'll be diving with several massive tiger sharks at once, as well great whites. That is definitely an experience high up on my bucket list(i.e., free diving with Ocean Ramsey and company in Hawaii, with a bunch of monster tigers and great whites.)

    got to admire the man's sincere love for such a powerful and misunderstood animal.

    That was motivating, If you consider your self caring for animals, then you should care for them as a hole, not just kittens.
    Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!

    Sad that this is still relevant in 2019. The mass killing of sharks is heartbreaking

    Sooo nice! Usually, people are or else ignorant about this issue, or else they don't care, do I don't get to hear people say what I've wanted to say for years very often... Thanks for doing that!!!

    I swim with sharks regularly,... I love them so much, they are so beautiful and graceful. In +2 decades I've never experienced an aggressive one. 💕

    Now in 2022 we are wondering how it all could go wrong and bad still without asking the really big questions in life.

    As an apex predator - sharks are just as dangerous as lions or bears - but a professional experience wild life expert diver can swim with sharks more safely than a regular human because he is familar with shark body language and how not to provoke a predator response. This video does not disclose or review shark body language or how to swim with sharks but only suggest it is possible..

    • @heather-xz9cu
      @heather-xz9cu 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      not necessarily. many people have ran into sharks underwater before, even he shared the story of the first time he did & he didn't know anything about them. he explained it all in the talk. sharks are scared of us. they won't eat you, weather you're experienced with them or not.

    • @CallOfDerzy
      @CallOfDerzy 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      if you watched the full video he clearly states that he is an experienced diver and doesnt recommend jumping in the water with sharks because there are risks that he is able to mitigate from years of experience.

    I resent the use of the word "us" here. It's East Asians hunting sharks to near extinction. I had nothing to do with it.
