The Anchormen circa 1997 or so were one of the best sounding quartets...Chapman, Wilhide or Stemburg, Hughes, and Ladd. They had a terrific sound. I wish that particular lineup would have stayed together longer. They were able to hold their own with any group.
Good to see these brother back together, I know I've worn that tape out back then, now we can see them on TH-cam but still can't find all of them from back in the day, especially Fayetteville NC concert, thats the one I had, its a delight, it's 2019 now and this was in 14 I believe, id like to see these brothers agian.
The tenor singer in this video is trying, but he needs to work on his pitch (which means he needs to stay in tune). This is horrible! The original video of this song was spot-on perfect!
I use to play this over and over back in the 1980's ??? 😂😂 We still have those old cassetts in a carton 💓💓

Brian is a college professor so his schedule conflicted with the concert date.
The difference is the first guy has no business at all singing tenor! Steve Ladd is a real tenor!! So you can definitely tell the difference.
That’s Karl Rice, Not a bad Tenor. But man he’s burning up with the Williamson’s now!
Steve Ladd is by far the best tenor here.
