  • High Voltage GNCCat round 9 and I am riding a yz 125 two stroke in the 200A class. It was looking to be a muddy race but the sunshine made conditions near perfect for the PM bike race.

    What all have you done to your bike? Sounds like it lugs a lot more than most 125’s and seems like it pulls better off the low end.

    Nice ride man. Is the 125 less tiring to ride for longer or does it ultimately take more work to keep it moving along than the 250? I have the 250x as well and love the bike, would like a 125 for moto practice and cornering work.

    • @NoahClarkFitness
      @NoahClarkFitness  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! I would say it’s about the same just because you have to ride it harder but it’s lighter and stuff so it kind of makes up for it. 125 is definitely something to help with corners and stuff!

    Damn good ride man especially on a bike you didn't have much time on! Ive Been wanting to try a set of those Mika bars. I liked the bend u had on that bike. U know what bend it is? Looked like a good stright bar without alot of sweep an that's how I like them. Stright as I can get them really. Buy my favorite GNCC would probably be
    Steel Creek when it's not muddy as hell. Lol. But I also like iron man too it's always good one. I like alot of the ones with a few big hills in them. I like those alot cause I enjoy just going out an climbing hills when free riding. An it can be a big advantage when other people in ya class have problems on them.

    • @NoahClarkFitness
      @NoahClarkFitness  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you man! They are the ktm bend. I like a pretty straight bar too. Steele creek and Ironman are both super fun with all of the hills!

    Never ridden a gncc! But I guess the JDay off-road loop at unadilla borrows a bit of the old gncc, and that was one of my favorite tracks ever. Come on up to NE and race some GPs!

    I’m not trying to be bossy... just something to consider. Your parents are obviously contributing a great deal of money for you’re riding adventures. If you continue in the 200 a class please consider a ktm 200. Yeah you would blow their doors off at the start. Set pace and they would spend 3hours chasing you. It’s not cheating. You do great on the 250 and will need a 300 in two more years. Spend more money to ride with guys faster than you for practice. It’s how you become faster.

    • @NoahClarkFitness
      @NoahClarkFitness  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah I gotcha man. The only reason I’m able to have a 125 though is because I bought this 2006 for cheap but yes my parents do help me out a lot and I’m very blessed. If I were try to chase points or something I may consider one. You are soooo right about riding with faster guys though

      NoahClark32 Remember though I am old, I am also a father, so really you need to focus on school and prepare An achievable goal for college to set yourself into a nice career where toys like dirt bikes can be a part of fun for the rest of your life. It is an expensive hobby and only the pros make money. So with that said “Ride to live but live to support your riding” quote by me! Or Go Pro ( not the camera).

    My favorite GNCC was the Yadkin Valley Stomp. The original creek jump from 2007 was nut's, the house you would ride through was unique, and the trails we're awesome. Would get super blue grooved from the quads on dry day's though. Mid East still runs at that property, so it is great that the local feeder series keeps up with having a race there.
