      Passing the AMC MCQ1 is when you study hard,if you can't study or you don't have time for your studies I'd advise you get yourself help like Mr Thomas

      I have a cousin who never studied much,we studied together but she gives most of her time to her phone than studies after writing AMC MCQ1, she passed and I failed😣, I asked her how she did it, just found out she got her help from Mr Thomas ..

      Sometimes hard work doesn’t pay you have to back it up with smartness🤓, I think your cousin understood that perfectly

    IMGs can apply for the competent authority pathway. For example if someone does PLAB 1 and 2 and complete foundation year 1 in the UK, he/she can apply for provisional registration without having to sit for the AMC examinations

    Please, I do have a question, or require clarification on this:
    It sounds like you mentioned that someone with experience will not have to write the AMC exam? What kind of experience are you talking about?
    For example, I am a non-specialist general practitioner aka medical officer IMG, with at least 5 years of continuous practice in my country, interested in relocating to Australia. It would seem that you mention that someone like me would be exempted from the AMC. Or, did I not get that correctly? If so, what do I have to do, please?

    • @shoaibquadri10
      @shoaibquadri10 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      That is if you have GMC registration and have minimum of 1year work from experience in UK, then you are exempted from AMC

    Thanks for the video. It makes everything clear. I'm planning to sit for AMC part 1 soon in Nov 2020. I'm thinking of either to subscribe mplusx or amedex. Any takers?

      Mplusx is better as it has past recalls included.

      For Australia there isn’t any other option ,I would recommend you to focus on Plab or usmle rather than Australia :) but for the no of years it kinda same 8 years on average in any country other than India .

    • @MedSnaps
      @MedSnaps  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      jillella sahitireddy because Australian health system has less opportunities for IMG’S and there are enough local doctors available :)

    Hi
    I ihave been going through the website and i came across folloeing info aboutcompetent pathway category A according to which what i understand is that u donot need to give AMC even if u have not given MRCP
    ((Requirements for eligibility for the Competent authority pathway
    Category A UNITED KINGDOM General Medical Council (GMC)
    Successful completion of the Professional and Linguistic Assessments Board (PLAB) test
    since 1975, AND :
    • successful completion of the Foundation Year 1, or
    • 12 months supervised training (internship equivalent) in the United Kingdom, or
    • if the 12 months supervised training (internship equivalent) is completed in another
    Board approved competent authority country, approved by that competent authority.))
    Please explain if what i am thinking is correct or not ?!
