Suggestion! I have been doing contracts on elmbrook that double up with my needs. I just got sheep and do a baling contract and there's always bales left over which I use to feed my sheep. Just wondering if you could find canola harvesting contract that you can use to feed your mill! And also your not picking up rocks with your rock picker cos you need to cultivate first! Loving this series !
That field’s baling contract is the best one on elm creek. When it comes up, borrow the equipment. It usually gives you an auto bale loader and a mower that does swath dropping, which allows you to skip the windrow step altogether. Also, you should do canola and sunflower harvest contracts and dump the excess harvest into your oil production. And also, you can use the borrowed equipment on other contracts as well as long as you don’t complete the contract where the equipment originated.
You are a brave man trying to tackle that big field with your own equipment. The lease equipment from contracts is very cheap. I usually look at the equipment they are offering, and if it is twice the size of mine, I'm taking it. And I definitely never 😉😉 use the borrowed equipment to complete other contracts in parallel. They often will give you a pretty good automatic bale loader in the borrowed stuff, which makes transport so much easier on these big fields. Ah well, I guess we'll see how things turn out for you in the next episode.

You should sell the oil plant - your just keeping it due to the sunk cost fallacy, you would profit more from selling it and specialising your equipment and limit costs into one trade - Grass!
This series encouraged me to start playing farming sim, after a lot of mistakes my current strategy is Cows + Grass Silege , it seems to work quite well
Yeah 5 panels would more than comfortably pay off a 500k loan payment. I think it's only about 1k / month for payments. Extra field is also a great investment though as long as he reinvests the profits into panels.
Nooooo don't do that. Solar is long term. You only buy those after you get all the equipment and fields that guarantee short time income. Solar and wind are end game, not early. Pickle already hindered his campaign enough by buying those solars episode one. He could have used the money to get better equipment for his silage stuff
Don't forget that doing grass contracts, you can normally get about a mower width of "free" grass by hitting the verges around the field. Often the windrower will be able to pull excess out of the "you can't have this" zone, and get at least 2-3 extra bales (or 5-6 in that field).
You could only do harvesting contracts for things that can be used in you oil production facility and then whatever extra you get you could put in you production facility! Keep at the grind brotha
Video idea (that's possibly impossible) "The Gormal Pickle tries farming in a tank" whether that be in warthunder or not, that's an entirely different question 😂 On a sidenote. I seriously enjoy the vids, keep the fun content coming (especially this series tbh).
I'd always lease and I'd always put workers on contracts, unless the leasing equipment is way too expensive or if you're that advanced in the game. For the baling all you need to do as the player is bale the bales. I earn about 30k-50k per month if contracts are active. And if you do multiple contracts, you can use the leasing equipment from 1 on the others :).
My man, you NEED to borrow the equipment for the contracts. Taking on that field 71 with your tiny mower and then leasing the rest is way more expensive than just borrowing everything. Any time you take a new contract, just press Backspace and get everything you need for a lot cheaper than if you would lease it yourself. Unless its Fertilizing
fields 69,70 and 71 usually give the high dollar contracts, keeps you somewhat solvent and progressing...also try and take sunflower and canola contracts that produce oil
Seeing how you when you were young did farming i also, i live on a farm and me, my dad, and grandpa during the summer we cut and rake our hay fields and we round and small square bales the hay and sometimes wrap the round bales.
I would def rent the equipment going forward on that grass contract until you can buy the like equipment for your own use. I've gone a similar route on almost the same fields; I merged all the fields I could together just to keep a worker covering as much of the work as possible. enjoy the content on FS22
Finally bought the game for myself and I am addicted! Cant back anything... much like real life ... but I cant get enough of contracts. Lets me try lots of different equipment and learn the map at same time. Such a great idea for a noob like me XD Love this series too! excited to see how things progress now youve allowed more loans!
This game looks so fun, but I get motion sickness easily in games. Does Farming Simulator 22 have an option to change the Field of View so it's always on third-person POV?
I only have up to the free 2019 from epic. Last night I did a harvest job on one of the largest fields and ended up with a little over 40,000liters of bonus wheat after the contract completed. I guess I have chicken feed for a while, heh
Be careful when it comes to loans, you can get stuck in a vicious cycle very quick, I have been trying to break that cycle for about a week now and I’m still trying everything I can to pay it back, most of my income is silage bales and contracts and it’s still very difficult
@TheFormalPickle warthunder sponsor is awesome its a big deal its a massive gane with a near cult like following. Ive been playing it since release. Congratulations
Its been about 3 years since I started my journey to 1 billion and I have one tractor still the base 3 field and farm and 802,000 dollars in the bank I have a few mods but only a few like a trailer to live in and a radio tower producing a max of 40,000$ a month once I hit a million I'll pay off my 200,000 dollar base loan and start to grow my farm even more.
Once you’ve earned more money you should invest into planting and selling cotton, it takes quite a lot of money to get started, but once you’re going you’ll be earning a lot. :)
I wonder how good a 465k loan would be if you bought 5 big solar panels. They'd pay for the loan payment and themselves. Gotta do some math to see what the ROI would be. But I think it's good.
im on year 13 and i built a oil mill on the field 44 and doing all canola and selling the canola oil which sells for like 8800 and im up to $671K now all from selling the canola oil and honey on their high sell times
I've never played farm sim in my life, but im really loving the series. Im not sure how the game works for the other "farmers" on the map that plant stuff on their fields. Are they an ai thats plants whatever or is it a very repedative series of what they plant and harvest. Anyway I was wondering, is there a mod or something that allows the other "farmers" to go to the oil plant that you own and pay you a fee to utilize the plant to process their oils. I would think this would be more realistic, than only you using the oil plant and it would be a nice source of passive income. Like I said i've never played myself, but I thought this would be the more realistic and profitable way to use the oil plant.
What AI decides to plant on their fields seem to be either "set" or "random" crop, depending on the "AI setting" (map specific) of that field. You do not see AI farmers do their fieldwork, everything is background simulated and all changes, visual and field status stuff, happen at midnight at Month Change. Some fields reserve their work for Player as Contracts but push forward independently as mentioned before if Player does not take those jobs. As for player-initiated "contracts", hiring a Helper (same AI drivers as used here, for example) is the only way you can do it. Modding has some more.. pre-planned options for AI work but none gives you ability to "order a field to be done", so to speak. Game just does not work like that. When it comes to Oil Plant, Contracts should be able to target all player-owned, pre-placed/"came with the map" factories. So you'd get crops dropped off at the factory, "the state" pays the original farmer and your (possible) extra bits are added - along with the harvest of the original farmer- to the factory's storage. Not 100% sure about this tho as I'm pretty sure there are also some mods that tweak these things and I'm not sure if this is vanilla or modded behaviour. Generic, background simulated farmwork and harvests are just fairy dust and make-believe. If player does not touch something, it does not (really) exist in the world.
Hey if you don't do this you should if you got personal shit ignore TH-cam if you have to or want to to deal with person stuff because the true people will understand the haters wont
I wish I could help you but I have a ps3 not a ps4 a big difference at least if you can we could play fs15 together when I get it speaking of ps3 I completed Need for speed yesterday lvl 50/50🏁
Each game is similar with improvements and changes. Usually and mostly they are good changes so the newest game is the best one to play. There may be some things from past games that I liked and wish I still had though. Even still FS19 is a great game.

You should play co-op with your dad
You dont need to wait for the baler to finish wrapping you can continue baling once the bale exits the baler and starts wrapping
Deppending on the baller
I was going to comment that but wasn't sure if he knew. 😅
Exactly once that baler closes up your good to keep going and don't have to wate for it to wrap the bale.
I don’t know nothing about farming sim but I love this series!
same!
Same!!!

Order of operations:
Mulch
Plow (if needed)
De-Rock
Lime
Use a direct seeder/sower
Roll
Fertilize using Solid/Liquid fertilizer
Weed
for 100% yeild plough all the time unless you are using precision farming
If you fertilize before you mulch and otherwise use this process it’ll be a 100% yield.
You are a brave man trying to tackle that big field with your own equipment. The lease equipment from contracts is very cheap. I usually try to play with not contracts but I definitely do them in parallel with borrowed equipment when I do 😂
That's great that you got a sponsor! Especially on this series! It bodes for positive things to come!
I think so too!

Thanks for the tip!
This series encouraged me to start playing farming sim, after a lot of mistakes my current strategy is Cows + Grass Silege , it seems to work quite well
Get 5 large solar colletor’s That's enough to pay off a $500,000 loan without going into the red😊
and Machine payments
Yeah 5 panels would more than comfortably pay off a 500k loan payment. I think it's only about 1k / month for payments. Extra field is also a great investment though as long as he reinvests the profits into panels.

Pickle already hindered his campaign enough by buying those solars episode one. He could have used the money to get better equipment for his silage stuff
My favorite part of the bailing contracts is they always let you sell a few bails for yourself
I love this series although I do not know anything about this game , please post more often videos of this series, big love from Iraq ❤.
Takes a man with serious patience, to play on this lag and still do their commentary cold as ice! 🥵
Im seriously impressed! Love the series💪
I think you just need to get a rythmn going. Decide on a crop to focus on, stick with it, and do contracts during off season. Great vid as always
Totally agree
I would only think about canola after acquiring the best grass silage equipment and getting rich from it.
Don't forget that doing grass contracts, you can normally get about a mower width of "free" grass by hitting the verges around the field. Often the windrower will be able to pull excess out of the "you can't have this" zone, and get at least 2-3 extra bales (or 5-6 in that field).
I love this series so much! First FS series I have ever watched too.
You could only do harvesting contracts for things that can be used in you oil production facility and then whatever extra you get you could put in you production facility! Keep at the grind brotha
Great point!

On a sidenote. I seriously enjoy the vids, keep the fun content coming (especially this series tbh).
30:22 you know when you have the bale in the plastic, you can still drive and pick up the grass
You can get some contracts for canola harvesting and after you finish them you are often left with some so you can use it in oil plant
Always fun to watch these Broke to 1 Billion videos. Wish I could play but a game breaking bug wont allow me
I'd always lease and I'd always put workers on contracts, unless the leasing equipment is way too expensive or if you're that advanced in the game. For the baling all you need to do as the player is bale the bales.

That movie did not sugarcoat anything. I thought I was going to have a nice nostalgic rewatch, but I wind up crying.
“Loopdy loop and pull” (and your shoe’s all lookin cool)

When he forgets how to tie his shoes.

Use the train silo for grain as a grain silo. It’ll save you space in your trailer and allow you to save up more crop
I would def rent the equipment going forward on that grass contract until you can buy the like equipment for your own use. Yes you can play 3rd person and change the settings of the camera.
NO WAY WE GET A SPONSOR FOR THE FARMING VIDEO! HELL YEAH BROTHER
I only have up to the free 2019 from epic. Last night I did a harvest job on one of the largest fields and ended up with a little over 40,000liters of bonus wheat after the contract completed.
I guess I have chicken feed for a while, heh
Sometimes pickle sounds like Joe Biden just yappin off 😂. Keep up the good work
I feel like it 😂
No way you are doing daily uploads W
I got a nocmans land series on this and i am doing good i have a combine two tractors ans a baler and all the hay equipment
Be careful when it comes to loans, you can get stuck in a vicious cycle very quick, I have been trying to break that cycle for about a week now and I’m still trying everything I can to pay it back, most of my income is silage bales and contracts and it’s still very difficult
Such a cozy content, can't wait for more.
I bought this game for my Xbox so I can't wait to try this series on my own
@TheFormalPickle warthunder sponsor is awesome its a big deal its a massive gane with a near cult like following. Ive been playing it since release. Congratulations
As soon as that baler says 0% you can continue forward. You don't have to wait until the current bale is wrapped. It's meant to do 2 jobs at once.
I 100% would have leased all that fancy stuff to bale 15 acres!!! Loving the series man!
18:23 we are alMOWst finished
What happened to the all equipment series
buy land ready to harvest, harvest it and sell it and repeat over and over..... this way you can get so much money
Havent seen the video yet but i really hope you keep the bale
Hey theformalpickle did you know that you can get free water from lakes that away your not spending money on water
I love this series, I look forward to watching every new episode. You made so much progress for vid one

Love the series please make it daily
Just started a fresh start to 1 billion with limited mods(field creation) thanks for your hard work and effort
Have fun!
you can keep baling as soon as the baler closes. dont need to wait for the wrapper
I'm growing weary of taking grass silage contracts for field 71 in my own game. But its so easy and lots of money! lol
Another great episode! Keep up the good work!
You can keep picking up grass in the bailer when it is wrapping the bail
Only buy a field when it is harvestable with a crop you want.
Not been long finding your channel. Absolutely loving the content. Thank you
Awesome, thank you!
Hey Jake the “roller with the planter” is actually a weeder
Upgrade the mower and you can window and mow at the same time
I wonder how good a 465k loan would be if you bought 5 big solar panels. They'd pay for the loan payment and themselves. Gotta do some math to see what the ROI would be. But I think it's good.
Bridge to Terabithia, you say? Yeah I'm feeling about that old and sad too. 😅😂
I think you should have taken the hire stuff for the contract given how cheep it was and the wear on your equipment
im on year 13 and i built a oil mill on the field 44 and doing all canola and selling the canola oil which sells for like 8800 and im up to $671K now all from selling the canola oil and honey on their high sell times
You can keep bailing while there is a bale on the wrapper
Lovin the series for sure

You will lose money having only 1 canola field as you will rent a combine for just 1 field
Yes!!! Go full grass, invest more into it. Only go canola when you got enough money for fields and equipment!
When is the new full map harvest video coming out its been 2 weeks??
I just bought the game and am looking to start my own farm
I know Pickle has started farming grass
Is grass a good way to start?
I cant even escape war thunder in a farming sim vid
Hey, if you don't want your canola oil production place, couldn't you resell it?
There’s better maps for grass / silage and wait till the fields are ready to harvest before buying them
Yay I’m early!! Thanks for uploading again! Always gonna be my favorite series.
Glad you like them!
Now with loans just take a 1bill loan and build solar panels loans are broken try a series without loans ps
We have a 500k limit I think.
i have 900 hours on it this is fun
I love these videos!
Hey if you don't do this you should if you got personal shit ignore TH-cam if you have to or want to to deal with person stuff because the true people will understand the haters wont
If you have course play then you can setup a course and it will do all most jobs but only on PC
lucky you have one 🙃

The 4 field Mao auto correct screwed the comment up
Map* auto correct keeps messing up
I’d already have FarmingSim if I had money to spend. Alas, gas cost money…
I love these videos
Maybe you need to slowly repay the loan
yes i wold like to switch the server
I wish I could help you but I have a ps3 not a ps4 a big difference
at least if you can we could play fs15 together when I get it
speaking of ps3 I completed Need for speed yesterday lvl 50/50🏁
Can’t you just sell the conola plant?
I tell you what you play farming simulator alot better than me I get so lazy. I got a question would you say FS19 and fs22 are similar
Each game is similar with improvements and changes. Usually and mostly they are good changes so the newest game is the best one to play. There may be some things from past games that I liked and wish I still had though. Even still FS19 is a great game.
Free the bale!
