I almost puckered up, just watching! :-) I could certainly use a stump bucket like that, but I have a pin-on bucket. The stump bucket certainly worked well! Thanks for sharing. - Rick
That bucket makes quick work of those bush remains. Thanks for the video, including the issue you had, those are scary moments, been there. Congrats on the association with Artillian.
Nice demonstrations! Artillian is so good to help TH-camrs with their products which in turn helps them. I asked them about allowing me to try their setup on my M6060 to see how it would hold up on a bigger machine. They wasn’t interested, but I actually think it’s durable enough to stand it. Sure would like to see. Take care!
Ed, I have had my BX23s on three wheels so many times… dropping the bucket is almost a reflex action. Anytime that I have my loader on or am working on a slope I have my seat belt on and my ROPS up. About 20 years ago, a local rental dealer bought a BX24. During its first month of service, he rented it out to a homeowner. The renter flipped it on its side trying to carry an elevated load across a steep slope. It rolled 360degrees. Luckily the guy somehow bailed off the seat, on the uphill side, before being crushed. I saw the tractor at my Kubota dealer… it left a lasting impression. But, didn’t stop me from buying my first new one! Stay safe bud!!!
Wow! That's awesome! What a great tool! And an awesome company! Well done with showing its strengths and not skipping the potential drawbacks! Good save on the rollover. Cheers.
Congratulations on the sponsorship Ed! I like the minimal impact the small bucket makes on digging out the bush. I like how you put the oops moment in there and good save by the way. The artilian set up seems perfect for the compacts.
I just recently got a stump bucket and I think a good accompaniment to the use of the attachment is to have a battery reciprocal saw handy to quickly cut through some of the roots for big jobs
It always feels more tippy on the tractor than it does on camera or in person!! 🙃 Makes you pucker a little when you are in the seat, but you weren't close to tipping over!!! If I don't get a rear tire off the ground a little bit when I'm doing loader work, I'm not working hard enough!! 🤣 Take care. B&D

Hi Ed! Congrats on your new relationship with Artillian! I can tell it’s true love. They make some great stuff and that stump bucket is clearly one of them. Looking forward to seeing you tackle some stumps with it!
Nice video. My dealer said backhoes are very hard to get. This would solve most of my needs. Muliflora roses, trash trees, blackberry, I can wait on the backhoe or use my neighbors excavator.
Awesome video Ed! I wish I had known about this system before I got my forks and stump bucket. It seems really well designed. I wanted a smaller bucket for more lift capacity. Glad you didn’t have to use that Kubota insurance again. 😄
Great video Ed, and congrats on your new relationship status! For what it's worth, the very first thing I thought as I watched your "close call" was how impressed I was how fast you dropped the loader. I think you're being too hard on yourself...you didn't freeze at all...your reaction time was excellent. Your body-lean into the tilt is instinctive...dropping the loader is a conscious decision and the brain has to override panic to engage. It was less than 1 second...I don't think anyone could have reacted much quicker. Also...loved the rockin' diggin' music!
I gotta get one Ed. Thanks or explaining the differences. My J.D.3025 is almost the same size 25 HP. This Artillian works just as good as other more costly brands. Thanks my friend.
I love the relationship announcement, but I'm glad you can see others. Lol. Interesting how we can hold on to that seat 😬in more than one way even with the seatbelt on. Looks like an effective size. Great job Ed. Waiting for another 8" of snow today. ☹️Stay warm. 🏝👍🌴🪵
That was a close call Ed! You might better trade that hoodie in for a helmet! Lol. No but seriously, it openend my eyes to how quickly a roll over can happen and why the ROPS and selt belt are so important. Grest video! Thanks for sharing and not editing that mishap out.
Great video and demo, Ed! It's pretty hard not to get tractor tippy when using a stump bucket on a compact tractor. That's the main reason I tend to start close and stay close to stumps. I don't like big craters that swallow up my B2601. Good save, buddy. And congratulations on your new partnership with Artillian!
Nice review and nice demonstration. I’ve been watching videos on these and the like. Really nice to see how they are setup and how they work. Also been enjoying your B2601 videos as I have my own coming soon.
Ed I just ordered the same system except I ordered the 24” bucket. I hope mine will work as well as yours. The reason I ordered the longer one was to get under the cement border around the flower bed to get gutter pipe under the cement border and buried. I think the B 2601 will handle it fine.
Hey Ed... I had a close call myself... I know how you felt, leaning works,,,I was trying to get another angle to dig a stump out. Yah I was hanging with my belt on and wheels in the air...heart pounding!!!bucket down got stable moved slowly level...
Like a good neighbor, cluttered garage is there!😂 Great demo. Definitely checking this product out. Beats having to constantly move my bx23s around with the bxpanded root ripper for the bigger stumps! Thanks Ed!
That was a great video Ed! I wonder if Artillian makes a similar setup for the John Deere subcompact tractors? I'll have to check them out. Also congrats on your new relationship..
My experience with a stump bucket on a B2601 with stumps over 8-10", it does not have enough ass to do justice even with the back tiles filled they just spun too much, tore the yard up and made more work. Plus its pretty hard on the loader arms.
