Otherwise thanks for sharing your experience. Yes old CPU is the main bottleneck. I had old Mac mini , installed windows 10 and ssd but even it wont play 720p TH-cam. CPU is the problem. No way to upgrade CPU easily.

I have a core 2 duo E7500 2.93 Ghz, i upgraded it from 1 gb to 4 Gb RAM, threw in an SSD and GT710 GPU for HDMI output and it runs windows 10 beautifully......I even play CS Go and it runs fine with 30-40 FPS, it is worth it if u want to use for non gaming purposes......
I have core 2 duo e4400..... i have upgraded 1GB ram to 4GB (which is max due to old mobo)..... I added a crucial SSD......trust me.....ssd is worth buying.
Tip - If you want to buy 4gb ram.....buy 2 sticks of 2gb ram.

You should have upgraded the motherboard with Zebronics G41 which supports DDR3 RAM upto 8GB then pair GT710 and the games will be better..
