What is deepwoken?
Deepwoken is a hardcore Roblox permadeath RPG roleplay game where the player loses all progression after depleting their 3 lives. This system is similar to Rogue Lineage. However, every time the player levels up, they gain an extra life up to 3 lives stored. When there is only one life remaining, the player is sent to the depths and has to find a way to escape back to the overworld.
Every character can be unique and built differently. The race doesn't affect the gameplay that much, it only gives a slight buff. By spending attributes points in the different stats (strength, fortitude, intelligence, charisma, willpower, weapon mastery and elements), you can unlock stat-specific talents and mantras when levelling up. Each stat also provides different buffs and can change the gameplay experience greatly. The cards are completely random and you can get better cards (legendary and rare) by getting more lucks (which is obtained by gripping players and killing certain monsters). This basically ensures that you will have a different experience with every different character.
Similar to other RPG games, after creating your character in Deepwoken, you can explore the map, travel on boats to explore other regions, level up and get good. You can obtain weapons, armors and other equipment from chests, and if you are lucky, you might get enchanted gears. It is also possible to get overpowered abilities called resonance or bells, I've never got one because I have skill issues. There are also different Oaths, a character can only have one oath at a time.
There are multiple weapons types: heavy (great axe, hammer, great swords, etc.), medium (sword, katatna, etc.), light (daggers, guns and fist) and 5 different elements (fire, ice, wind, lightning and shadow). The NPCs are quite strong, and a player has to know how to parry, block and dodge properly to not die horribly which is the reason why the game is really hard for beginners who play solo. Anyways, I had a great time grinding, getting roasted when escaping the depths, trying to kill Primadon, dying, having my characters deleted and doing PVP. I had fun trolling others with my 140 damage strong left and vow of mastery. Overall, the game lives up to the hype, and the gameplay is very enjoyable. I was only able to show a small part of the game with this video as I have several other high level characters with other builds. This video is by no means a guide and is not an optimal way to play the game. Like always, this video is filled with a lot of jokes and dead memes and takes the form of a funny moments/funny montage. What is ROBLOX? ROBLOX is an online virtual playground and workshop, where kids of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. It’s unique in that practically everything on ROBLOX is designed and constructed by members of the community. ROBLOX is designed for 8 to 18 year olds, but it is open to people of all ages. Each player starts by choosing an avatar and giving it an identity. They can then explore ROBLOX - interacting with others by chatting, playing games, or collaborating on creative projects. Each player is also given their own piece of undeveloped real estate along with a virtual toolbox with which to design and build anything - be it a navigable skyscraper, a working helicopter, a giant pinball machine, a multiplayer “Capture the Flag” game or some other, yettobedreamed-up creation. There is no cost for this first plot of virtual land. By participating and by building cool stuff, ROBLOX members can earn specialty badges as well as ROBLOX dollars (“ROBUX”). In turn, they can shop the online catalog to purchase avatar clothing and accessories as well as premium building materials, interactive components, and working mechanisms.

sunken sword suck more than scimitar of storm currently, my source is that the future patch note documents gave sunken sword a slight buff while scimitar of storm got a slight nerf and ice/snow conj can only use it while scimitar of storm can be versatile with any kind of build.
In conclusion i basically wasted 3 minutes of my life
I got Lion's Halberd and lance of loyalty after 7 tries
The one asshole who tried to kill me with the stormcaller didn’t realize that i had the speed demon armor set as a warrior
And also as a saber user i got so good by killing argos (as a warrior for trading value im items) 87 times with just a old axe
This sounds im possible but i got a 2nd halberd and lance plus 2 armor pieces in 10 tries and i still don't got those dang boots
Some of the weapons that went uncovered are actually played decently often in pvp. You just wouldn't know it because these guys are all pretty much arcane DEMONS; running into these guys is a right place right time, but I ended up with some pretty nice connections by sheer cosmic accident so I've seen a fair share already.

Poison Tooth is one of them. Both it and Musket fall into the niche of "actual fucking demon" because the people that main these look like they are aimbotting.(They are not aimbotting) I have a musket main homie who decked a 300k navy officer while using a fucking steel chestplate and unupgraded gear. I watched him do this live and when he screen shared his build later that night and asked "what do I do for my final accessory and chestplate?" I shit myself.
As for a few others... rapier and greenwish are the hallmarks of a veteran arcane player, usually from adventures or reborn. These weapons are incredibly broken if you use them right. They both have broken grabs; greenwish has a busted projectile and rapier has a mini greatsword q.
Also, iron staff is mini greenwish.
Greatsword / Greataxes are pretty much used on antimage builds. They have retarded clash priority so if you get jumped by someone with one or both then they just hate mages. The former may also be anywhere from braindead to godlike, but greataxes are only ever used by players who actively pvp.

The Vindicator and Scims (and Kai's Sabre) are actually both very good, by the way. Both of these are unbelievably unintuitive though, so allow me to explain.
The vindicator is busted because people figured out that Crushing Justice is literally undodgable, borderline unreactable when factoring server latency and deals like 231 for free. This is further broken by the fact it's a warrior weapon. It's basically a 30 - 40 size mage explosion on a weapon, it's fucked.
Kai's Saber and Scims are actually both pretty strong for the same reason: their mobility and projectiles. They have both the single most versatile kits in the game (because they are basically the same thing) with a tradeoff: Consistent damage from Kai's, or the potential bonus damage from Scims.
Generally speaking, 1 blink and 1 projectile are such an amazing kit for most pvp situations because of both simultaneous utility and how easy they are to hit. These things are the bread and butter of most pvpers because of that. The dash is genuinely the single handed most powerful ability in the entire game, and if you talk to anyone with a higher level understanding of the pvp system they will most likely either unambiguously agree or have a single personal pick they consider better. They are the single most reliable moves in the game and if you plan on properly pvping you need to learn to use them.
In fact, some players are already using both Kai's and Scims at the same time. The dashes are just that strong. Most people just opt for kai's though because the E is more reliable. Scims actually do more damage on both moves than saber, but since the projectile is split into two shots that can be missed individually you risk lowering your DPS quite a lot.
Still, scims are a busted ass supplimental weapon if you can use them right, and technically even better if you can reliably ensure both Q hits. I'd say they are about the 5th strongest weapon in the game right now, going in order as:
Kai's
Claws
Greenwish
Greatsword
Scimitars
Pretty sure the only weapons that don't see much use outside of funny meme builds are the flintlocks, normal swords, short axe, and the non-vindicator blunt weapons. Like, NONE of the blunt weapons are used even though mace has a ranged fucking grab. It's actually wild.

Fr, the teleport moves are amazing. They're really fun to use myself and they feel unfair when used against me (I have skill issue). Do you think the axe throw could be viable in combat? I've noticed that it does more damage than other projectiles

Regarding the Kai Sabre stereotype, you need to be a criminal to obtain Kai’s Sabre without trading and due to this your probably going to get swarmed by bounty hunters which gives you significantly more pvp experience then the average hero
before the kai wall killing bug was patched I killed him enough times to get the sword, as a hero, so no, you dont need to be a villain to kill him, also ive seen videos of assassins killing merlot

I'm pretty sure the poison tooth dagger is a direct upgrade from sanguine. Mainly because it applies poison, but also higher base damage.
Minor downside of it being incredibly rare, personally in 150+ hours I've seen 1 poison jaws, just frequently see it in trades for some reason.

Stormcaller Q is actually really good, since you can just use it, and then immediately do another move. 2 attacks at the same time is fun
Certified kai sabre user here. First of all, kai's sabre has very low cooldowns and good damage. Second of all, it has huge hitboxes and good casting speed, minimizing the time you are vulnerable after casting an attack, and maximizing the oppertunity you have to hit your opponent. I mainly use cast speed/power builds to capitalize off of kai's sabre, making it even stronger. Also some people who auto farm kai have aztup hub, the same one used for deepwoken. It allows you to multiply your damage by a maximum of 10, and it allows you to extend your hitboxes by a maximum of 100 (either studs or kilometers, as much as I have to admit to using this inferior form of measurement).
Commodore kai sabre is basically used for shanks cosplay + the anime moves hits hard as its a katana or whatever. Some anime lovers in AO are cracked.

the reason us commodre kai saber users can fight him cuz in order to fight kai, you just need to run around and spam spells around silverhold (try it yourself). OR they just parry his attacks because any guy who can parry a obfuscation divine dagger in deepwoken can parry a flash strike or flying draw 100% of the time

I mean ye it is fine to say the op weapons that try hards use to rek people, but then again just mage builds are still way more op than Warlords or Warrior builds, so if there were any tryhard builds it would be the ones using mage class using the metals. I think personally people who use warlord or Warrior are not tryhards as if they wanted to be they would just pick mage and rek anyone. For me I picked the class warlord as I just didn't care about Magic even though I knew it was way stronger and went with a strong build lance and Halberd due to it looking cool and doing good damage.
Anyone can be a try hard. Even your local Warden. You can tell if your just chilling fishing with a mix of people from high bounty players to navy members then this guy drops in and begins attacking all of you without a second thought. Now thats a real tryhard.

*_I carry a Thunderspear, an Iron Claw (I wanna get Silent Blades for DRIP PURPOSES, even if I wanna reset my stats and get a better Savant build), and a Lion's Halberd. Also, I rarely use Vindicator and the three mentioned just to troll enemy NPCs. That's because I'm mostly a Magic/Fighting main, yet I go for Savant builds._*

I use Kai's Sabre but it was given to my a player that teamed up with me randomly, anyways I helped him up a bit and soon he gave me Kai's Sword. I assumed nothing of it a first but after learning where you get Kai's Sabre, I began to thought he gave it to me since he was attacking Silverhold and probably got Kai's Sabre while raiding the Grand Navy.
Note: I'm not a good player even as a Level 125 since i'm more a adventurer/completionist and never focus on pvp. And a part-time weapons collecter, which means I will try to get every weapon, From the weakest and poorest state weapon, to the highest quality boss weapon obtainable atleast as a solo player

So on the topic if vindicator, this isn't me correcting you, it's only accessible skill is quite unique in a good way, if you've used grabs without being in combat you know that they gain no distance, vindicator is sort of like the weapon version of a fighting style's first accessible keybind, it has a guaranteed movement but the AoE it causes as well as the forced knockback into the ground is horrendously strong from my personal experience with my warrior file (aka its sorta like a ultimate art iron leg crash with a really fast reload and much more mobility)
Commodore Kai's sabre is like my main weapon and i rarely actually have to use my ravenna greatsword or silent blades as a warrior,i have an explosive conjurer and wind warlord account and i literally can't live without this weapon.The weapon users aren't great but this weapon is just really great for pvp,it has low cooldown and your e skill is a fast projectile hit while your q helps you to cover between your enemy and getting very good damage with it.I generally use a build with 1.5k hp,72 power,72 atk size,50 agility and 18 atk speed but since king calvus set is gonna get nerfed,my atk size and agility is gonna decrease i guess.
You should use greatsword and blades or try to factor them in with the sabre. Makes you alot more scary and unpredictable like a Conjurer who can actually use magic alongside weapon skills on all 3 weapons.
The reason why commodore farmers are good at the game is because they literally NEED to.

Basically because Heros are on criminals cases so much, criminals become accustomed to being attacked on sight. To the point where some criminals can take out several people at once.

i got vindicator by fishing, i gotta say that im one of those guys who could be committing warcrimes or kill criminals or sink boats or get fame but i choose to throw a stick and string into the water to catch fish

What I find funny is how almost every person that has asked me to trade them Lions Halberd and lance of loyalty would offer to sell me their soul, heart, and organs, add on 2500 gallions. They are almost all warlords at different stages in the game but will 100% awaken as a warlord. (Now I farm argos to take more peoples stuff. This is the reason why I have 20 regular vindicators and 5 enchanted ones)
Summary: If you use weapons, you're a min-maxing tryhard.

Yep, that was me, accidental Vindicator, found it in some lost cargo up by the Northern Jaws. And yes, I do use it. And yes, it is now effective. Especially with the Swift enchantment.

I use the stormcaller bow just for the storm of arrows ability, as its not that bad. It does around 130 damage and its just nice to fire then go to the silent blades.

i use commodore kai's sabre and i do thank you for the compliment of "i'm cracked" but unfortunately that's wrong. i am the complete opposite, i am ASS at the game and got it because my friend is good and he had 2. he got them AFTER the patch. still ty for the compliment ig

I still have a normal sword upgraded to level 100 bc I do not have the time to grind this game. The only rare weapon I'm planning on getting is sunken sword bc apparently it has good synergy with my build(which is lightning conjurer) and I have a magnetic collector's rod with 300 fish bait. I just.... need to stop procrastinating, suck it up and actually sit there for like an hour fishing. But with my luck I may not even actually get it.
Edit: Also, I recently got the thunderspear and imo it's actually pretty decent. The spear throw does quite a lot of damage, and it's basic m1 attacks actually have higher dps than scimitars of storm because of the faster attack speed. I think the main issue is that the fact it's a spear means both of it's abilities are piercing/thrusting attacks, giving them a much smaller hitbox than the scimitars of storm abilities. My most used combo is spear throw + twin crescents. I rarely use the grab attack because while it technically does more overall damage than the throw it's a lot harder to hit with and it's multiple hits overtime, whereas the throw does all it's damage instantly if it hits.

I was playing the game I somehow had gotten 3 vindicators and someone traded me a seasonal. A whole seasonal. For one of my vindicators. I didn’t even send the trade first he did.
I am a c k Sabre user, and I just used barrels to kill him cuz I heard it’s good in pvp. I’m not THAT good at pvp but after I killed him, I just got better at pvp I guess

my friend actively seeks and hoards vindicators. He has almost 70 in his inventory and we like to call him the vindiking
He's also a knight build and thinks everything he does in-game is funny (its not, its just cringe)
i have vindicator purely to match my navy outfit (im a metamanced plasma explo mage) in other words i dont know where the fuck i got it from and why the fuck im using it to begin with.. im a mage.
The reason we are good is just because we trained, we lifted thousands of explosive barrels, repeatedly, JUST TO GET A SWORD.

I'm a warrior and I use Kai Sabre, Scimitars of Storm, Musket, Greenwich Staff, Vindicator plus triasta depending on what im doing pve or pvp. Like triasta is op for anti mag cus of teleport aether flasg with ZERO endlag

I remember giving people who farm with me silent blades. Im sad to say I indeed did sit at merlots for a while back during the 5 player days. Now it pays off because who dose not need like 50 silent blades?!

You can't kill Merlot through his wall anymore, big whoop guys, I'm just gonna get him stuck in some cliff and spam large AoEs to kill him in the exact same way. Easy fame, easy drops, and everyone can do the same and break the economy. The only reason Merlot scares me in head-to-head combat is because as the fight goes on, the poisoned debuff and all the poison clouds being thrown everywhere will gradually give me stage 4 cancer and I'll die. As intended.
Also, you got down to 28 HP when fighting Lady Carina. Lady Carina is one of the _easiest_ bosses in the game with damage and attacks so slow, I could probably tape down my G key, go AFK, and when I come back I'd still be near full health. the weapon's just braindead easy to use tbh. it's katana but with more AoE and damage and red glowy affects (for warrior). though, this weapon is only used by sweats because, well, yk, it's an upgraded katana. and surprisingly no one besides sweats uses them.
