Wood's strong point is its unique synergies with other magics. Despite leaning into being a heavy affinity magic, it also synergizes with heat magics. This means that it can take up the generalist heavy affinity support, sand, and also works well with dps magics from the heat department like plasma and fire which other heavier magics like earth and metal cannot access. I saw the plasma stereotype. And yeah... I figured that as soon as I hit someone. But there is a secret stereotype with plasma users. These guys are an OG player who played during AA (Arcane Adventures) And remembers that plasma boss that was literally the most annoying boss to fight against at the time. So they use plasma as memory of said boss. Both as nesstoga (I can't spell, sorry) and PTSD at the same time. They also play an ungodly amount of time on this game. I should know. Cause it's me
I honestly thought that lightning and water was going to be meta. Though whether it was or wasnt, i would have still picked lightning since that is what i used in WoM.
Savant Intensity light build so they're blinded for like 8 seconds and then when they can finally see they realise they're drowning 100 meters out in the water because I blew them away with wind whilst they were blind. Cannon fist so they cant have any ships to save them, 1 point in weapons so you get a 2k durability shield (very balanced), truly a build of all time.
Update this build failed horribly Light blind is applied weirdly (stacks wont refresh the duration of existing stacks) so you can't build intensity to blind people for any extended period of time. It is kinda funny to watch this video after some many changes have happened to the game like how light and shadow weren't good, but now they are the meta

My only experience with lightning users is a guy I fought who just stood in the water so he could paralyze me if I went after him and just spammed ranged attacks

whatever you do, DO NOT GO GLASS CONJUERER. your just going to be a worse version of a warrior or mage due to glass imbuement being the absolute worst in the game by only lowering your dmg and bleed
I went into the game blind and picked light cuz I thought it was cool and early game I put like 40 points into vitality cuz I thought having some hp would be good and the rest of my points went to magic (The points never got refunded and my main build is booty cheeks)
I had a similar experience. Light user; Savant with crystal (because it synergizes with light for some reason), but invested 30 points into vitality (oops, didn't look up a wiki for my first file so I didn't realize vitality was useless) and 90 into magic. I wanted to invest 130 into weapons so I could use the second skill on most of my weapons, but I accidently hit the str point investment on a laggy server when I was around level 100. This means I currently have 30 vit, 90 magic, and 1 2 9 weapon and 1 str. I can't reallocate my exp points. My life is agony.
I honestly believe that more than the type of style, magic, or weapon that you use, yes, I know that there are better things than others, but I feel that what the game seeks is to encourage us to have our own combat style, that's why there are armor and the enchantments, and remember that the game is not over, by the way, good video
Fun fact: Poison and Plasma make a microwave build, It's loud, excessively bright and can annoy a person so much that they'll want to attack you. I got told to stop in game saying that it was too loud, which I agree with
I'm actually planning on making a water magic user in the future. I actually played water as my first character in World of Magic, and I plan on bringing him back in the future.
I went plasma solely because the attack style/charge animation reminded me of DBZ's Ki techniques, and i went warlock because tbh throwing ki infested cannonballs at people sounded really fucking fun regardless of how counterproductive it is (i haven't been dissapointed yet.)
I chose sand as my starter magic solely because i wanted to survive whilst dealing enough damage to the enemy, ...until i found out it's one of the meta.
Light isn’t great for PvE in some builds, but with speed aura, it’s a GODSEND in PvP. You can hit without getting predicted, cast immediately, and do around 170 dmg casually, every second like it’s damage over time. Stop saying it sucks. Light is great, Just use it the right way.
AND... Shadow aint that useless... Just dont use it as a mage, use it as a conjurer, I mean there are best magic for conjurers, but if you want to "blind" your enemies and not let them see you, use shadow or light. Shadow only causes the screen to black out a little but its enough for you to go behind their backs and spam your shi.
as a glass user, every single other one i come across always has their blast set to multiple hits because they want you to go in the sky so they can use their ranged explosion (from experience) as a tip, don't go next to them either (we typically explode)
I will make a sterotype for metal 'metal users tend to pick metal as they see the stats having the highest damage, either that or they think they can get free bullet ammunition's when being a beginner'
Hello Lightning player here. I picked it because it was my element in Arcane Adventures. In hindsight, should have realized maybe that's why I struggled so much with higher level NPCs.
*casually picking explosion and ice magic and getting a sunken sword as a savant to be the most unpredictable player in existence. Before completely wombo comboing your ass with 105% extra dmg*
I can give you the stereotype for metal as the only metal magic user in existence. “You don’t have multiple attacks on your spells, you’ve gone all in on being a mage and you’ve got as much power increasing equipment as possible and all your spells are ultimate arts just so you can deal slightly more damage per hit even if your consistency suffers for it.”
I use Fire magic on oy one slot, my Colonel Sanders build. I use it to Kentucky Fry my enemies. That's not my main, tho. I use Glass legit on one of my Warlocks. The bleed damage is the best out of all Bleed based Magics, since it doesn't need you to do a % of anyone's health to proc Bleed.
And wind is brain dead, some guy had wind and ice and he used wind pulsar on me. But sense wind had a special effect called knock back the ENTIRE pulsar hits you and drags you with it making it so your free hits for his ice beam to hit you 20 times and freeze you
I am a light magic user, I love sniping people with charged lightballs and I use it because in the future it will decrease the AI smartness (since it will also apply blinded to them), also it looks hella cool oh and ps, I use iron leg with it, so its kinda of a high damage medium speed warlock build

No no you forgot the ones that have a glass cannon build and kills you in 3.2 seconds with pulsar + ult art + synergy with another magic.
Thought he was gonna mention winds ability to launch players across the map
noe
Metal users are the single reason why puslar is getting nerfed into the ground, they made the og bleed and 1200 pulsar spam
Poison magic is kinda op for conjurer build imo.
frfr
I'm going Iron legs instead
As a glass/acid mage, I can say one thing. Putting in a shit ton of attack size and Intensity makes your magic essentially boil down to “Stage Hazard”
I’m now tempted to make my character on my Iron Leg/Fire build look like Colonel Sanders for unfunny fried chicken leg jokes.
w fried chimken
I made a second built with shadow magic because I wanted him to be an esteriotipical villain. So you ae right, I did use shadow to be edgy with things like killing elius and letting him live with every other built I made.
Glass imo is pretty good when used with something like thermo fist or sailor fist
W
yea i would have used sailor fist with it but i accidentally used my reset on conjuror 💀
whatever you do, DO NOT GO GLASS CONJUERER. your just going to be a worse version of a warrior or mage due to glass imbuement being the absolute worst in the game by only lowering your dmg and bleed
@@LocalLawnChair i noticed
Reaconteur: No body use lightning magic.
me: *disappear*
First build I made was a Paladin. Pretty balanced class.

Ain't no way, that cannonfist earth user described my entire loadout flawlessly, that had to be me
I went into the game blind and picked light cuz I thought it was cool and early game I put like 40 points into vitality cuz I thought having some hp would be good and the rest of my points went to magic (The points never got refunded and my main build is booty cheeks)
skull
You will get refunded points from vitality if you aren't a vitality build from what I know on the next big update
My life is agony.
literally did the same thing but with 20 vitality instead of 40
I honestly believe that more than the type of style, magic, or weapon that you use, yes, I know that there are better things than others, but I feel that what the game seeks is to encourage us to have our own combat style, that's why there are armor and the enchantments, and remember that the game is not over, by the way, good video
Fun fact: Poison and Plasma make a microwave build, It's loud, excessively bright and can annoy a person so much that they'll want to attack you. I got told to stop in game saying that it was too loud, which I agree with
as an explosion user i have no idea how people make spell sizes that can kill everyone on Palo town
My brother is a snow and ash mage and since they both remove each other's respective effects playing against him is basically an epilepsy hazard.
I'm actually planning on making a water magic user in the future. I actually played water as my first character in World of Magic, and I plan on bringing him back in the future.
I went plasma solely because the attack style/charge animation reminded me of DBZ's Ki techniques, and i went warlock because tbh throwing ki infested cannonballs at people sounded really fucking fun regardless of how counterproductive it is
(i haven't been dissapointed yet.)
W
I chose sand as my starter magic solely because i wanted to survive whilst dealing enough damage to the enemy,
...until i found out it's one of the meta.
All the AA magics can fall into "used this since 2015 in Arcane Adventures".
true
I am neither of the crystal stereotypes, conjourer Sunstone crystal for life, BUT I DO LOVE DESTROYING LAPTOPS WITH ASH, 6:20 that felt personal
w laptop crasher
Reacounteur when he finds a new game he enjoys knowing he's going to milk it all making stereotypes
goofy ahh emoji
From what I’ve seen, light is pretty good as a conjurer. Mainly if you wanna bumrush a mage.
Hatch with plasma, it deals extra damage while stopping the bleed and still applies scorched
So you don't lose much really
Blast + 20 modifier + a lot of attack size + ultimate art + hand shape + poison = the funniest thing i have ever created
That one earth user you mentioned made me laugh because it's description is literally my friend's 😂
I've chosen lightning because at first I wanted to go water-lightning mage build, but then I discovered sailor fist.
as a glass user, every single other one i come across always has their blast set to multiple hits because they want you to go in the sky so they can use their ranged explosion (from experience) as a tip, don't go next to them either (we typically explode)
Dude thought Zoro was so sexy he forgot Nami and Robin 💀
water is so true, water sailor style warlock is insanely fun
I will make a sterotype for metal 'metal users tend to pick metal as they see the stats having the highest damage, either that or they think they can get free bullet ammunition's when being a beginner'
The "hello~" at the start sounds like "i love refrigerators"
Tf are you talking about
@@Reaconteur the meme, i just hear it every time i see your video...
Hello Lightning player here. I picked it because it was my element in Arcane Adventures. In hindsight, should have realized maybe that's why I struggled so much with higher level NPCs.
this guy might actually be the alternate universe roblox soundsmith
As a metal paladin, i simply walk through attacks and hug people with snares and burst attacks
WO WO WO, YOUR SAYING I DO LESS DAMAGE BECAUSE I USE LIGHT. UNACCEPTABLE
The reason why I chose explosions
*Inserts American anthem*
Tbh wood is rly good, not to mention nobody uses it so nobody is used to playing against it.

@@Reaconteur grr
There are exactly 2 kinds of people who use sand.
1: People wearing the mummy outfit from the WoM halloween event
2: Magic gunslingers (with swords)
And wind is brain dead, some guy had wind and ice and he used wind pulsar on me. But sense wind had a special effect called knock back the ENTIRE pulsar hits you and drags you with it making it so your free hits for his ice beam to hit you 20 times and freeze you
My absolute favourite magic is glass, honestly i get so confused why people don't use it as its a rlly good magic
I am a light magic user, I love sniping people with charged lightballs and I use it because in the future it will decrease the AI smartness (since it will also apply blinded to them), also it looks hella cool
oh and ps, I use iron leg with it, so its kinda of a high damage medium speed warlock build
