I always wondered, if you get closer and closer to galaxies, wouldnt the form change? People say when we look at space we see the past. So if we travel closer to the objects wouldnt it change to reflect the present, or closer to the present? Edit: We know how long light travels from where it starts to where it goes and back, but do we know if its the same speed both directions?

Day is not the same as 24 hours, not in the past and not today. The earth is not about 6,000 years old and the Bible does not teach this. Hebrews 4:9-10: "There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his." This tells us that the 7th day has not ended. Thus day 7 is a long time span, thus day 1 to 6 must be a long time span. Each believer are to enter into day 7. Also there no "evening and morning" for the 7th day. As day 7 as not ended. Biblical Hebrew has a limited vocabulary, with fewer words compared to other languages, such as English or Spanish. This means words often have multiple meanings determined by context. Day - yom is commonly rendered as day in English translations, but the word yom can be used in different ways to refer to different time spans thus literally is: Sunrise to sunset Sunset to next sunset Time period of unspecified length. (long time span ). We use the word day the same today: In my grandfather’s day cars did not go very fast. Deuteronomy 33:15 and Habakkuk 3:6 "ancient mountains". Gen. 2:4 “in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens” The events of day 6 can not have happened in 24 hours. Have you entered into the 7th as Hebrews 4:9-10 asks you to? Creationism does not equal young Earth. There are many Old Earth creationists.

Genesis is the first of a number of documents pertaining to the religion juaasism onto which for some inexplicable reason those that wanted to exploit the way of christ(prseumably to line theie own pockets taacked the jesussey or gospels which have nothing whatsoever to do with Judaism, which is like tacking the jesussey onto the Upanishads or documents relating to any other religion that has *Fcuk_Nothing* to do wit the way of christ, but perhaps the moneybagshought that the the jesussey was too short for a big business given that it can be read from beginning to end in an afternoon, but why tack it onto documents of a completely different religion that has *Absolutely_Nothing* to do with the way or method brought by christ-the precise dtails of which are unknown, the so-called gospels being no more that a jumble iof rather uninteresting anecdotes about the man, into which the money bags deliberately inserted the lie or fiction of what is called the resurrection which (being impossible) can only be a pure invention, but perhaps the money bags thought that the Elsies(Lower Classes) would swallow any sort of magic trick, however preposterous; certainly only contemporary Elsies fall for that obvious lie - while their betters dismiss it as preposterous nonsense that flies in the face of common sense that is utterly irrelevant to the way of christ, the precise details of which are as unknowable as thy are unknown given that any tradition started by christ can only be extinct by now, which is why what is called christianity is clearly extinct there being more any christians than there are any stand-on-their-own-shoulders_ians

Have you actually read the Bible? It is written down by men but inspired by God. He would not allow a book to be recognized as His word and yet have it be fallible or incomplete. The Bible exists because God gave it to us, so that we can know His laws and commandments, His creation history, and His purpose. It has been assembled, compiled and completed directed by His will. The many mistakes men made about creation and history came from studying nature without His word as a guide. Read it first, then study nature and see how everything underpins the Word.
God gave us the book of nature and book of scriptures God gave us words. God gave us reason. We did not evolve from something else and we will naver evolve to something else

Day is not the same as 24 hours, not in the past and not today.
The earth is not about 6,000 years old and the Bible does not teach this. Hebrews 4:9-10: "There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his." This tells us that the 7th day has not ended. Thus day 7 is a long time span, thus day 1 to 6 must be a long time span. Each believer are to enter into day 7. Also there no "evening and morning" for the 7th day. As day 7 as not ended. Biblical Hebrew has a limited vocabulary, with fewer words compared to other languages, such as English or Spanish. This means words often have multiple meanings determined by context. Day - yom is commonly rendered as day in English translations, but the word yom can be used in different ways to refer to different time spans thus literally is:
Sunrise to sunset
Sunset to next sunset
Time period of unspecified length. (long time span ).
We use the word day the same today: In my grandfather’s day cars did not go very fast.
Deuteronomy 33:15 and Habakkuk 3:6 "ancient mountains".
Gen. 2:4 “in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens”
The events of day 6 can not have happened in 24 hours.

It depends on what you mean by " history" which is no more than a set of beliefs about what is supposed to have happened in the past.
Genesis is the first of a number of documents pertaining to the religion juaasism onto which for some inexplicable reason those that wanted to exploit the way of christ(prseumably to line theie own pockets taacked the jesussey or gospels which have nothing whatsoever to do with Judaism, which is like tacking the jesussey onto the Upanishads or documents relating to any other religion that has *Fcuk_Nothing* to do wit the way of christ, but perhaps the moneybagshought that the the jesussey was too short for a big business given that it can be read from beginning to end in an afternoon, but why tack it onto documents of a completely different religion that has *Absolutely_Nothing* to do with the way or method brought by christ-the precise dtails of which are unknown, the so-called gospels being no more that a jumble iof rather uninteresting anecdotes about the man, into which the money bags deliberately inserted the lie or fiction of what is called the resurrection which (being impossible) can only be a pure invention, but perhaps the money bags thought that the Elsies(Lower Classes) would swallow any sort of magic trick, however preposterous; certainly only contemporary Elsies fall for that obvious lie - while their betters dismiss it as preposterous nonsense that flies in the face of common sense that is utterly irrelevant to the way of christ, the precise details of which are as unknowable as thy are unknown given that any tradition started by christ can only be extinct by now, which is why what is called christianity is clearly extinct there being more any christians than there are any stand-on-their-own-shoulders_ians

Have you actually read the Bible? It is written down by men but inspired by God. He would not allow a book to be recognized as His word and yet have it be fallible or incomplete. The Bible exists because God gave it to us, so that we can know His laws and commandments, His creation history, and His purpose. It has been assembled, compiled and completed directed by His will. The many mistakes men made about creation and history came from studying nature without His word as a guide. Read it first, then study nature and see how everything underpins the Word.
