What a truly amazing and knowledgeable woman! Really fascinating listening to her story of sheep and yarn production. What an honour to meet her, albeit virtually.
You have hit upon a treasure trove of content by interviewing your customers. Their stories are riveting. Keep up the excellent work. We appreciate you and them! I bought several skeins of their yarn as a result of this podcast.
I grew up on a very small farm - primarily cattle, but a menagerie. It has always AMAZED me the emotional capabilities animals have. This was another truly terrific interview! Thank you, Peggy and nicely done!!! Amanda, hope you’re snuggling ALL THE SNUGS you can right now!! ☺️🫶🏻🧶🐑🐏 hugs from the O-Lisa
I've been fortunate to have purchased and used a lot of Meadowfed Lamb's yarn and it's always gorgeous to work with. Rachel and Matt are a delight in person. Support them if you can.
I have to say that I have thoroughly enjoyed all these special interviews that you provided recently. Each story is so inspiring and so charming thanks for connecting us to the farming world. It’s not just yarn.❤
Great interview! I'm learning so much about sheep and farming methods. And another experience of how caring sheep are for their own and others. Thanks Peg and Amanda.
What an amazing story and learning experience for your viewers from Rachel. I had never heard of this type of farm and the amount of love and care that is obviously put into every part of the farm is both life affirming and heartbreaking. In my naïveté - I had to stop when she said that the majority of their sheep were meat producing. I don't think about that often as I want to assume all sheep are for wool and get to live long lives. To know how much care goes in to all of the sheep --for any purpose wasn't something I expected and shows how little I know about the realities of farm living. Thank you -- every week is amazing, but these personal stories - I can't begin to tell you how impactful they are.
If only sheep could rule the world! These stories are so heartwarming. I never thought too much about their personalities. Just the cliche about sheep mindlessly herding.
So thrilled you interviewed Rachel!! Their yarn is so silky and beautiful and unique - I think at some point she thought I was a crazy person because I bought several sweaters’ worth and I am not sharing! 😂😂 But on a more serious note, it always amazes me just how much knowledge and hard labor goes into the type of farming that is actually good for people and good for the Earth. The fact that farms like theirs exist fills me with hope for the future. ❤
Congratulation Amanda. A boy or girl? Thanks for a lovely interview. All animals have a personality. And sheep labour is very much similar as humans. Grapes cause renal failure in dogs. What about sheep?
Thanks Peg & Amanda for introducing such a genuine, caring, human, Rachel. Thank you Rachel & Matt.
Thanks for watching!
