I’m from the school of using each and everyone of these tools for different use cases. I like that they focused on iOS development. That is an important use case that if they get it figured out will definitely be my tool for mobile apps.
I seem to recall there already being several working versions of the lacking local execution functionality. GPT4All being the most polished of the ones I tried. I recall the FastChat implementation allowed you to choose multiple trained models as well.
I agree it's heading in the right direction but still lacking to move away from other IDE situations. I would love to see ChatGPT hook into the browser console and VS Code at the same time! That would make debugging a lot more fun!

If they're going to compete on features at least make them better than what's on the market. I'll be sticking with Cursor
except this is free Cursor isnt 😅
with 01-mini
@@chidorirasenganz lol, it's $20 man
@@chidorirasenganzWhen did GPT 4o become free man ? it cost $20
@@HaseebHeaven last time I checked a Cursor subscription isn't paying for ChatGPT. So with this, you have one less expense
did they give a date on when to expect this feature for windows?
I have not seen these dates yet unfortunately
Thanks for showing us where this is. I'm still very happy with Cline, but this might be helpful if I can integrate it to o1

I love the idea of hooking into a browsers console.
Can't wait for it to write it too, and have context of all the code, and not only what is opened
Can this replace OpenTerminal?
Certainly will be more useful when combined with both terminal and IDE. Or just text editor.
I use both Claude and ChatGPT, but Claude is definitely better at coding.
try 01-mini
does one have to have a Chatgpt 4o account for this to work?
Why Mac OS?
We need this for Android Studio as well
They can build the best tool for devs if the AI is not great for devs I'll stick to the Windsurf Editor !
i need features like in Cursor hmu...
I agree - it will be really interesting to see how this is tackled!
Only work for paid user now I think.
Feels a bit too little too late, sticking with Cursor for now.
