Added this with stock downpipes and it performed and sounds as promised....just added fenfab downpipes with high flow cats....it's very aggressive now. You can hear it in the house when you start it up.
I had a hard time trying to decide between this and the Thermal R&D. I chose the AWE and I will say that I absolutely love it. Cold starts sound great and when you get on it it also sounds great. You can definitely hear it. What's great is on the highway in Eco it is super quiet. It also made a difference in power. Not a ton but definitely better. I'm sure that with a tune the difference would be substantial!!!
Because the Ecoboost helps Ford with its overall cafe numbers. Stellantis/Dodge decided to use the Hemi in all their vehicles excluding the Chrysler Pacifica. That move cost Dodge 300 millions in mpg fines and ended the Hemi. It's obvious you haven't driven an AWD Explorer ST. Considering the 400 horsepower 3.0 Ecoboost used in the ST that can be basically turned for around $700 giving it 500 horsepower. The final Ford GT Supercar the Mark IV uses a 3.6 Ecoboost that produces 800 horsepower. Keep the Coyote in the F series pick-ups and the Mustang GT and Dark horse so Ford doesn't end up like Dodge. FYI. It's obvious from sales numbers. Customers like the new 2025 Explorer considering it's the top selling Midsize SUV in the US with a 25% YTD increase.
Awesome!

I liked the Thermal one more.
Looks like they fixed the mud pipes on the 2025. And relocated the flexpipe portion so the cats stop breaking
Where can I get the gloss black panel that’s mounted on the hatch?
The Explorer ST needs to have a Coyote.
I just don't understand why ford just won't do it 😩

@@DWH300 I agree with you and you're right but I'm just saying you just can't beat the sound of a V8.
If only we had this car in uk😢
How’s the droning inside the explorer?
You won’t hear any drone over the pumped in sound in sport mode 😂.
I’d like to hear an interior clip though. Especially highway cruising speed.
Good.
@@Redball2Portofino Probably a way to delete or unplug it if it's like the others. I did a full symposer delete on my car
