I will probably take it to some tractor shows for a year, and then sell it. I'm just gonna play with it for a while.

what did the broken switch do that's on the belt guard?
There should be an arm on that switch that is pulled on when the mower deck drive PTO is engaged. So when the mower deck is on the tractor would die if you get off the seat, or the tractor wouldn't start if the mower deck was engaged.
