I know the struggle. I've been wearing glasses since I was 2(so that's 31 years). I've spent thousands on glasses over the years. And now it's hard to find frames that I haven't had already. I will definitely be buying my own frames from now on and just have my optician put the lenses in

On the glasses that you say were not thinned out, I wish mine were like that. Lol my eye sight is soooo bad that that is what mine look like when they are thinned out!!! Hehe. All of those are gorgeous btw.

Its a higher index lens there are 1.57 which is good for mid prescriptions and then 1.67, 1.61 and the highest is 1.74. I think there is higher but But this site does not do them.

What is your prescription ? I am at -3....
Your prescription is light, I recommend acelool, you have a chance to own a pair of glasses free.
I'm a retired optician and as such i'm sure that you really do feel half blind when you take your glasses off. You're "myopic" otherwise known as "nearsighted" and I can see by looking at your glasses that you have a decent prescription in your glasses. You've had glasses and contacts for a good number of years and been wearing vision correction full time for many years as well which has made you very dependent on your glasses.. I'm quite sure that your prescription has reached the point that you're unable to function without glasses. I would very much like to know what your full prescription is. I'm asking that because looking at your lenses I really don't think you need high index (thinner) lenses for your glasses. of course i'm sure you don't want your lenses looking like Coke bottle bottoms (Are you too young to even know what that is?) I do see some noticeable "cut-in" in your lenses. By the way, several times you called your glasses "reading glasses" and it's possible you that you now may need your glasses for reading also but you're "nearsighted" and when you were prescribed glasses it wasn't for reading purposes but for seeing things at a distance. But by wearing your glasses full time you forced you eyes to learn to see close up with your glasses on and now you probably do need glasses for reading. When you were working for Sunglass Hut you really were working for Luxottica and they are a monopoly that owns Sunglass Hut but also Lenscrafters, Pearle vision Centers, Target Optical, J.C. Penny Optical and Sears Optical. They also own many many designer eyeglass frames including Ray-Ban and Oakley. That was why you were given a free pair of glasses as a fringe benefit. I liked the Dolce and Gabbana glasses you got as your free pair. I would assume that your prescription has changed since you got them and there too weak for your eyes now? too bad because they looked really cute on you and you seem to still like them. They couldn't have fitted you any better. Do you prefer frames with the adjustable nose pads or the moulded nose pads? I like the Muse glasses on you as well. They also seem to fit you perfectly.This is likely going to sound more like an insult than complement but your really very attractive without glasses, but you look even more attractive wearing glasses. So no wonder why you say that you love glasses when you look so good wearing glasses. Being an optician i'm going to be honest about what I think about any glasses you put on. That being said, i'm not crazy bout the glasses that were sunglasses that you had your prescription put into as regular glasses. The frame is too dark and too bold and they hide too much of your lovely face. You always want your glasses to enhance your looks not hide them. The smaller Ray-Ban glasses look really cute on you and they don't hide much of your face. Just nice and simple. The glasses you got from Firmoo that you weren't very happy about because the didn't use the high index thickness of lenses I can see a slight bit of edge thickness, but honestly not enough that anyone would ever notice it except maybe you. Being nearsighted your eyes wouldn't be magnified through your lenses. If anything your eyes would be smaller than normal size without glasses. Now just so you know getting high index lenses won't change how your eyes look through your glasses at all. Your prescription is what it is and getting the high index lenses is not going to look any different than the regular thickness lenses. The glasses you got from Firmoo look really nice on you and like I said, I will never lie to you and certainly not when it comes to anything about your eyes or glasses. if you don't want to believe me test it for yourself and with out telling anyone simply wear the glasses you were wearing at the very beginning of you video and then switch to the Firmoo glasses and ask them if your eyes look any different through your glasses? Like I said if anything because your nearsighted your eyes are going to look slightly smaller through all of your glasses than they really are. Even looking at you wearing those glasses from a close up side angle (6:30 - 6:33) you can't really see the edge of your lenses. Trust me if your glasses were really strong like yo think they are even getting the thinnest lens option your lenses would be sticking out a lot, lot more than that tiny bit and even in the front as well. That Firmoo frame is even a thinner style metal frame and you can barely see any edge thickness. So even with regular lens thickness and a thin style frame your glasses really aren't very strong even if you can't see very well without them. By the way when I recommend people order their glasses on line Firmoo and Zenni along with Eye Buy Direct and Zeelool are the sites I suggest. I'm really glad that you love glasses and that you have become a gull time glasses wearer because glasses are such a great "look" on you. I hope that you're having a wonderful day.
