    Yes Goldie gets all the kudos simply because he has a high profile , being in Eastenders and the orchestra doing the Timeless album etc ..., but there are other artists who paved the way such as Nookie , DJ SS , Bukem , the Basement Records crew ,

    enjoyed that episode of heist producers house lol. i like the way he showed u the emu protues vintage keys the kurzwell stuff and loadsa outboard gear. but then just used samples and breaks in cubase with plugins everyone can get for free :) . i got soundfonts of them outboard gear stuff aswel. l

    It's interesting to see the process. I like that he is transparent about his relationship with the engineer. There are a lot of producers who project the image of themselves as being a one man band even when that is not an accurate representation of their work.

    Thanx sbtv some good childhood memories.
    This takes me back as a kid living next door to Kiss fm on hollaway road.
    92/93 Jungle was new & fresh. Everyone at school was into Wikfield - saturday night but I loved my jungle.
    My 1st vinyl happend to be jungle hits volume 1 ( Jumping Jack Frost)
    Frost used to take us to his gigs at places like Bagleys as a teen.

    The sample he was referencing in relation to dBridge is from one of LTJ Bukem's trip hop/broken beat tunes from around the late 90s/2000/2001 on the album called "Journey Inwards" or an LP by him called "Producer 01". Forgot the specific name of the tune but I'm certain it was on one of those

    Sometimes people seem to jump on the Rob Playford did everything whilst Goldie just 'picked and chose' bandwagon'.... Sure it didn't quite work out like that & Goldie did a bit more than that + at least he admits RP did the technical stuff anyway.... Bet loads just lie.
