  • An exclusive walkthrough of the new SRT Royal Blossom tourist train in #Thailand. This will be used for the first time on 17 August 2024 for a day trip to Kanchanaburi along the #Death Railway. There are five carriages. One dining car, three regular carriages, and one carriage with four private rooms.

    #1 Bangkok to Singapore. SRT/KTM
    #2 Vientiane to Boten on the border with Yunnan, China. Laos-China Railway (LCR).

    Next time we're in Thailand, we definitely hope to ride this beautiful train. It's incredibly nice and luxurious. It's hard to believe that it's a second-hand carriage from Japan 🍒🍒🍒 Bye bye from @Travel-by-Train and @Travel.Highlights... 🙂 Cheers

    I have the uneasy and justified feeling that the armchairs are not fixed to the floor, and possibly the sofas too.
    When I saw the wooden kitchen chairs standing free in the normal passenger carriage, I lost faith. A possible career as a rocket pilot is hiding there. From my point of view, a disaster in terms of safety.
