In this build I took the leap into photo etch, despite my apprehension the PE was absolutely spot on. I thoroughly enjoyed this build and despite it being a very simple build, it's a great model to tip your toe into PE with.

    It's time builder.
I dont think I'm qualified to build such a masterpiece such as this.
But this is something I can learn from.
    Great video!

Thank you very much, just give it a go, it’s a cheap kit and you’d be surprised what you can achieve from following a few YT videos!

An enjoyable video, I like your relaxed narration of the build, it’s great to see someone build this kit with PE and I’m sure sure your experience will inspire others

I'm just starting out, doing Panzer II as my first model, your video was terrific for giving me ideas and confidence. Keep up the good work!

Ahhh thank you, glad you liked it. Looking back, there’s much more I’d do now to improve it, but it was chosen to focus on attempting PE. It’s a great kit to be getting started with, that’s for sure.

Great job on the vintage Tamiya kit. The PE set really added to the kit. Wish you would have included the classic infantry figures too. Happy modeling.

Nope. This may be the tank we do. Another great build mate. Seriously, grab a PE bender. RP Tools has a great one at a good price. PE is the devil, but I like it

Great build I enjoyed this video very much . But I'm wondering what happened to the combat crew

Thank you. I didn’t use them in the end unfortunately. They’ve gone into the spares box, I’ll probably use them to practise painting figures though!

hi, my name is Kez and I'm wondering if you can show us how to paint this in a different color. I'm thinking more green.

@@45degreesmodelling Thank you for the link and advice mate. I really appreciate it.
Is it ok to bend without any tools like the Tamiya PE pliers, or would you recommend some looking back.

@@45degreesmodelling Thank you once again for the help and tips mate, I’ve just ordered the PE set so no turning back now lol. Will definitely look out for the glue and have a search around YT for some beginner PE tutorials like you you mentioned. Many thanks once again

It would look a lot better if you left off the unrealistic chipping and concentrated on a layer of dust and dirt. Look at some photos of the real thing rather than copying other models on TH-cam.
