In this bonus episode we take a look at the Panzerkampfwagen II F in detail, looking at the deployment history, colour schemes and specifications.
I have taken some in depth photos from Bovington Tank Museum of their F variant and the photos are free to use as you wish and can be found on my Patreon page (free to everyone) / 42450908 .
The Panzer 2 was an early war tank used by the German army during the battle of Poland, France, North Africa and into Russia. The F variant was a later variant that had some improvements over the earlier models, such as a commanders cupola, increased armour, changes to the hull and minor improvements to the suspension.

I was lucky enough to be invited to Bovington to review their reopening after Covid lockdown, probably because I’d spent a whole lot of time over many years pre Covid taking pics of zimmerit, tigers,Sherman’s and generally every tank as a modeller I’d eventually build. Great place to visit, mostly but not always accurate in depiction. However, since the lockdown more thought has been put into the presentation of the exhibits.
Anyway enough already I like your vids, always like seeing how fellow modellers approach their current projects 👍

What I find most interesting about the tank are the dings and missing/bent pieces. Just what you would expect to find in a tank that was in combat.
