Hey brother. One major correction. The tax NOT 30%. In seattle, tax is only 18% in your salary bracket. On h1b, FICA will be 7%. So even including that, it will be 25%. (Not 40%).

Yeah it's roughly around $40000 in sillicon valley as state effective tax is 6.42%
He calculate the tax including all such as utility,medical,car insurance etc....after all all are expenses which has to be paid.
