Stats United @ lax: 15% market share (third largest) One of unit's 8th hubs, but not in the top 5 Was curious as looked up the stats at for SFO back in March, which made a few of the UA failures in March being to or from SFO make more sense -- UA is ~45% of SFOs by seat capacity (...largest by a lot, with next being like 14% [aa?[), and 5th for flight volume of their hubs, but 2nd for km x seat (aka more longer, bigger flies). But, UA doesn't have nearly the same stranglehold on LAX, so bit more surprising to have two emergencies so close. Also: Ua has the third largest fleet with almost 1k planes, depending on source (depending if list contractors perhaps? Flightrader lists them has having a lot more airplanes then other sources). Doesn't see like any of the atc video channels covered this duel situation with more of the ATC, and liveATc only has 7 days of free archives :(
I was wondering how that 737 was landing at such high speed. When the fire equipment zoomed down the taxiway, I realized I had left my viewer at 1.5x speed! Good thing about watching a recording is, one can skip ahead right to the "one more plane..." and see there's still an hour of "one more's" to go.
I'm wondering that myself. Wish there was a reason given for the emergencies. The 737 at least didn't seem severe at all but 2 emergencies in a 20 minute span for the same airline is wild.
I think United has a maintenance problem….or sabotage?? Wheel falls off…..plane off the runway brakes fail and two now with problems….all in a short period of time……a little too much coincidence in my opinion. (Just my thoughts and opinion)
It can seem like an unusual amount when the media coverage gets turned up after a major incident or two, but these sorts of things go on all the time around the world. Years ago I used to read the FAA summary of all reported in-flight airliner problems. Even back when there were far fewer planes in service than now, it must have been a dozen or so a week. What there wasn't was the internet pushing it all into everyone's home.
Your voice-overs make this the absolute best live stream to watch! Thank you! You were born to do this ❤

I wish lax had easterly operations more often

Hello from Poland
yes stay for the ghost 747 plane brad
It doesn't matter any longer if its a max...now if its a Boeing period people are having a pucker factor anytime something occurs!
Glad everyone is ok god is good
What is God when everyone isn't ok??
Lufthansa.s 380 had to refuel before take off? 😳😳
What happened?
I have flown that aircraft many times (with my hands).
নতুন দেশ নতুন অফিস
What happened to the 757 and 737 on board?
yes stay for one hour plane
Not united again ☠
Sound is ok
What actually happened?
Вот это движ , не то что у нас в Ярославле 😳
❤❤
Stay!

Bunny landing at lax April 23
What happened though?
I'm wondering that myself. Wish there was a reason given for the emergencies. The 737 at least didn't seem severe at all but 2 emergencies in a 20 minute span for the same airline is wild.
complete hydraulic failure
Is this really a Boeing issue at this point? Something is going on with United
What’s going on here then? 😮
Somethig's really wrong with UA now, they are always in the news having problems witheir airplanes.
Yes
I think United has a maintenance problem….or sabotage?? Wheel falls off…..plane off the runway brakes fail and two now with problems….all in a short period of time……a little too much coincidence in my opinion. (Just my thoughts and opinion)
I feel the same way.

I’m choosing not to fly for awhile.
@@jjcaron72 Empty seat next to me! ; )
What is going on in 7:10 one plane over another plane?
Self inflicted wounds to both their reputations.
Was it another boeing disaster?
Is engine glow a bad thing?
What did you expect?
It is a Boeing again
What were the emergencies on these two UAL flights? Anyone know?
One was a hydraulic issue and the other was a partial engine failure
@@Jmjbs I get the principle, but the wording "partial engine failure" is self-contradictory.
@@KutWrite that's what the pilot said, so not sure what else to call it 🤷🏻♂️
@@Jmjbs which plane Had which issue?
A 737 a Max????
No not a MAX. A 14 year old 737-800.
I don't think so
@@svscared ok thx for the info😊
Lufthansa 380 return slot for refueling? 🙄🙄
The wingtips are a giveaway. It is a MAX! They have the upswept tip and the downwards one too. The 737-800 series only have upswept tips.
Boeing :d
what happened
Why spend all this over a non event?
What is it with United. I would stay away from UA till it gets its act together.
It is always boeing. I’ll avoid their aircrafts at all cost.
Hey, the United 737 is the MAX 8 as they have the double wingtips. The older 737-800 only has upswept tips.
Wrong!
Wrong. One look at the number and you’ll see it is a 737-800. Took 30 seconds to look it up and not look like an idiot. But you still did it 😂
@dlphnfn123 I do apologise, you are correct. I wasn't aware that the 737-824 was fitted with twin tips. Still a Boeing not going.
WACHING FROM JAPAN🇯🇵😊🤟
