Hi there, I was the Captain of the LH 380. Great job filming the wake encounter. Best channel ever! It was not the first time beeing filmed here in sunny L.A. C U soon, shining the lights!
Great job Peter! The hard work and sacrifices you make to bring us the most amazing content is very much appreciated and we appreciate our MOO 😊 #teamlaflights (always)
Wow🤩 That's an Incredible Moment! If BA A380 Entered the Scene, it would have been a Heavenly Moment! Almost this Video Covered Around 5 A380s in the Same Frame! Hats off to the Captain whom did his Best to Handle the Situation of Turbulence & also to Lift the 6 Lakh Pound Aircraft as smooth as a Rose Petal (if he reads the Comment) & Love the Gentle Giant Forever❤
Wake turbulence is turbulence generated by an aircraft's wings as it moves through the air. During takeoff, aircraft generate significant wake turbulence which can affect other aircraft flying behind them. Pilots need to maintain safe separation distances to avoid encountering this turbulence, as it can be hazardous, particularly for smaller aircraft following larger ones.
This was amazing take off by two major airlines on Airbus 380 -800 at the same time on the same runaway . Both planes did great job in take off . Congratulations to the air pilots of both planes. Simply great skills.
It doesn't happen often, but every once in a while, LAX departs to the east. I live on the hill in PV and you'd hear them all night long departing and turning downwind to the west.
Awesome catch! Would you be okay with me featuring these back-to-back departures in my series Weekly Dose of Aviation? Of course you will be credited both in the video and in the description as before. Thanks!
I was on that Lufthansa flight, seat 97K (upper deck economy), filmed the takeoff and DEFINITELY felt the wake turbulence on takeoff! Thanks for posting!!
Often heard about Wake Turbulence, 1st time actually seeing it. Epic footage, love the A380's, so Majestic. Wasn't it you that almost got the King & Queen taking off together a few weeks back. The 2nd A380 had to return to the gate because of a Sick passenger, didn't leave till later.
Tracy chatted with the man who shined the light during take off. He said it was a bit rough. Tracy encouraged him to subscribe and like which he did at once. 🎉🎉🎉
Fantastic capture! May I feature this A380 wake turbulence encounter in one of my next episodes? Of course with a link back to your original video. All the best to you :)
Great cam work, guys. I hope when I get back out there to watch the planes that LA Flights is there. It's been some months & Sundays since I've said Hi in person! 👍🏿
Just like Spring 2023 (3/28 and 4/05) when Korean Air and Asiana Airlines Airbus A380s were battling each other’s wake turbulences. #CautionWakeTurbulence
The A380 is just the best of the best as I wish they would bring them back to IAD as it's just sad period , To the higher up folks please some one help the aviation fans at Dulles International Airport to see them again !!!
Spectacular footage! Would you kindly grant me permission to feature this clip in my next episode? I’ll ensure you’re fully credited in both the video and the description. Thank you.
Fantastic video, bro! I want to use it in a video for my channel; is it okay? We'll give you credit in the video.and my description includes a connection to your original video. Regards
the double push back of the A380s had vibes of synchronized swimming😄
This channel is the equivalent of a sports channel for airplane spotting!
It's totally crazy, too, that he puts on such a quality presentation, LIVE, by himself and for insanely long hours. It's so impressive.

Great job handling the wake! Beautiful takeoff!
This comment seems fake to me your account says “user-mx5nx7hx6n” and says “joined 20 minutes ago” this may be a bot account..
@@theaviationastronomychannel I was wondering about that.
@@theaviationastronomychanneland spelled being wrong too
Sorry, but it's no fake. I'm the real one sitting inside in the front left 🙂
The two 380s pushback is so beautiful ...almost poetic..and only a flight watcher will understand that❣️
"Caution wake turbulence" - the best excuse to do a wing wave 😆😆😆
That was awesome! And a great job by the Lufty pilots handling the wake turbulence. But then, what else would we expect from our Lufties!
Those two A380s in the twilight looked absolutely spectacular!
I love to see the two A380s including the Shine the Light. Keep it going hard work Peter.
I chose to like 👍🏼 this video at an epic time, 3:13, perfect symmetry with the 2 x 380’s, thank you for this. Amazing video ❤
Great job Peter! The hard work and sacrifices you make to bring us the most amazing content is very much appreciated and we appreciate our MOO 😊 #teamlaflights (always)
wow Peter, You are like the energizer bunny, You just keep going and going 😮
Wow that was strong wake turbulence… BIG shake from the Lufty A380!
Perfect choreography! Along with the stage lights (shine the lights from the Lufty 380!). *You can't get this anywhere else!*

That was the best part of the stream!
Peter is the best....
I wouldn’t want to be the next plane after these two giants!
It was amazing seeing two giants taking off one after another, and great job by the LH pilots getting through the wake turbulence, excellent skills.
Lufthansa did a great job in the wake.

0:01 Its been a long time since I'd seen a group of a380s together at the LAX International Terminal, last time I saw this was 2015 or 2016.
The double push-back is amazing.

If Jerry Seinfeld had a plane spotting TH-cam channel... 😆

ANother comment
Since both Luafthansa and Emirates sound exactly the same during takeoff then the Emirates A380 is powered by Rolls-Royce engines.
Watching these planes so enormous looks like they belong in the ocean, they look like huge sharks......
I don’t think the pilots would have went ahead with it so soon if they knew what was coming their way.
The Lufthansa pilots are aware of wake turbulence and they knew another A380 took off in front of them.
I am the one knew that after Emirates took off , I knew that Lufthansa will get Wake turbulance
Thank you.
✈️✈️✈️
Was the takeoff the rare one to the east and not over the ocean?
Молодец! Хорошее видео! Прекрасный голос у ведущего канала! Спасибо!
2 mins separation behind a heavy and 3 behind a super (I think), what was ATC doing here with 1.5 min separation?
The 2/3 minute intervals are old school. New wake turbulence rules are more detailed. Super following a super is minimum separation (3 miles).
Is that little security car going to pitt maneuver that 747
Fantastic video, bro! I want to use it in a video for my channel; is it okay? We'll give you credit in the video.and my description includes a connection to your original video. Regards
Why I feel like the control tower had LA flights on and then planned this lol
Many A380 here
