You won’t regret the plasma table!! We are vehicle builders not primarily fabricators (though we have 4 full time fabricators) and bought our plasma table in 2017, I can’t even imagine how many thousand parts it’s cut now. Once you have it, it has so many uses you never even thought of!

When I bought my table I went off the recommendation of a friend and got a down draft extraction setup and I’m glad I did because small parts always drop through and fishing them out of the water is a pain. Water table is not so bad if you only cut bigger items. Like you guys mentioned I thought that I might get work cutting for other people but I found out it’s hard to compete with the people who only provide a cutting service as they burn so much sheet their input prices are so low. The only advantage you can hope to have is turnaround time. I wouldn’t be without my machine now though. Great for doing development, prototyping and repair work.
Hi.. For what you was saying about being in your prime well I am a Truck mechanic in my 61 year now (45yrs since left school) I would say my prime was between 25-45. I was the clutch /gearbox man, but now at 61.i definitely feel the pain in the joints now, I can still do the job but takes twice as long. 😂😂.. I have been with the same company for 23yrs now and seen a few youngsters come through and I have thought to myself, he or she won't make it because the work is to heavy for them and 9/10 times I am right.. Anyway another great video and keep up the good work and great to see there still some good people about.. Happy birthday as well..
Ouch the back is not good, I am more the wrists & knees.. But when I was a apprentice 1979 even then I was working 2/3days non stop (no health and safety back then) But now I do min. of 45hr + OT if needed, never say no & help out. Anyway hope the back gets better soon.
