Just nipped over to your channel Mark expecting to find some top quality cinematography only to be confronted by a 1:45 video of you making a Nespresso. Give your balls a tug you clown
What a top guy you are Baz....... That little piece to camera about Cal, how he got his start...... Fair play to you & fair play to Cal for having the nish to get in there. Love this channel & content. Cheers from Jersey.
Another great episode! Excellent bit of recognition for Cal, the lad is a very rare breed but hats off to you Baz for recognising it and giving him the opportunity. Keep up the great work lads and I can’t wait for the next episode!
Morning chaps. Hope everyone is keeping well. I've just had another small stint in hospital with another chest infection. Now recovering at home. Couldn't wait for this episode so have rewatched a few of the previous episodes to keep my chin up. Credit where credit is due. Cal's done an amazing job on that bucket. Thanks for the amazing content and look forward to many more. All the best !! Peter
Hope you get well soon.cal,s a big assist to the company and it's great to see such a young person with the get up and go for such a young person.. fair play to u cal...Ur a handy man with the welder
Another excellent Baz and Mr Director, good to hear that Cal made a speculative offer and you took it up, saw talent and now a great member of the team.
Hi Baz Director and Calam and yes a good conscientious lad well done Calam. Baz you go to places where I've worked or dealt with over the past 50 odd years, Glasson docks we c oncreted 2 rail line's in for an over head gantry crane for moving container Edmondson had it then from Preston. Great watching you and the lads take care.
Another good chapter nice to see young Callum doing well. He's got the bit between his teeth you can see it in him he wants to be no. 1. Every day is a school day we're all learning every day. Keep up the good content baz and the director. But Callum keep up the good work well done Callum 👍
Another good one baz. I like the way you have given cal a opportunity to get in the plant game as I had the same chance when I started if people don't give you a chance you don't know what you will end up doing good on you pal . looking forward to the next one.👍👍👍
He's precise, fast, and doesn't miss a beat. Guys like that are really hard to find. Good thing he message you and, that in itself is a good hint he knows what he's doing and where he's going.
Hi guy's another great Saturday morning show. Time flies by. Calm is a great asset to the family and see him going far. Till the next one stay safe safe..
Top vlog lads, always a varied content, and always some quality hard graft getting done, I don’t think people realise how much work goes on behind the scenes of a construction business…Callum is a top lad at 24 yrs old, , have a good week.👍👌🇮🇲
That Volvo exhaust looks a right debacle. I think some vehicle designers must have a liking for white powder. You're brave doing a tug of war with your Defender. You'll get no warranty from JLR if that engine grenades. Thanks Baz
Watch the video from over here in the colonies, I can understand about 1 word in 10. But what comes through perfectly is the professional work ethic and quality of work. Also looks like everyone on the team is treated like a partner. I like that you included the everyday things like going to the store for boots and such. My one comment for improvement … post several smaller videos, this one is an hour long and a bit difficult to watch in one stretch.
You've got a good bunch of lads working for you Baz it just goes to show if you are willing to put in a bit effort good things come of it , but a good team comes from a good leader and you lead by example, and you are willing to pass on your knowledge so they get better at what they do, that's what I would call good boss 💪.
Hi Baz, hope you and the lads are keeping well. Another super chronicle of raw coal-face quality work. I really enjoy the way your videos are filmed and edited. Keep it up. I blame it all on Ollie Snowball. I was watching one of his videos and he gave a mention to a few of his faves, Kurtis, Karen and Homeless (staffie) at Cutting Edge Engineering, and yourself. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe and keep up the good work. PS. Great to hear Cal's story, and glad to see you listening to his thoughts on his future. 👍✌
Awesome chapter as always!! It’s difficult to find anyone that wants to do this type of work….Cal is one of a kind given his age and talent level. He’ll go far in his career. Baz, director and crew are the best!!
Cracking video!! Great yous supporting local businesses!! Sick boots asked about them a few weeks ago AND got my answer today 👌🏻 Would love to see a Agri special AND a tug of war 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻😍
I can relate to Cal wanting to get out into the field. Working all day everyday looking at the same 4 walls is not my cup of tea. He just needs to increase his porosity and mis-align some cutting edges and he'll be kicked out out of the fabbing area in no time....jk of course. Good for Baz on looking out for Cal and trying to get him out in field more.
As always Baz great content always informative with out goin over board into the nitty gritty and Director just when i think you can't get any better you prove me wrong as always big thank you for the video and i think sooner or later a tv channel may come a knocking wanting to do a series .
I delivered a load of man hole covers to Glasson Dock a few months ago.... Interesting roads in an artic to get there and getting on the weigh bridge isn't easy 😉
Looks a nice bit of kit that Kemppi. Makes me laugh when you start to weld. A good welder mate of mine who is no longer with us used to shout EYES before he started just like you do 👍👍👍👍 Great video as normal keep it up 👍👍👍👍👍
Loved watching the chronicles. I really want to see a weld off between yourself Vs your lads. 2 Stanley blades on a 45° angel or 2 coke cans and let's see who's the better welder. You or your guys. All use the same welder
Another good weekend with the boys.. smashed it as always, nice to see Luke back in the camera.. i definitely think cal is coming for the directors job 🤣🤣.. also nice to see Baz back on the hot metal glue gun. Roll on next week
Love all your videos / content. Just like to ask why, like Kurtis CEE, you don't cap off your hydraulic connections when disconnecting ? Save hydraulic oil spewing out of the open ports and possible crap getting in to them ?
Baz. Did you have to beef up your rear suspension like we do here with our crane trucks? It wouldn’t be a bad idea if you haven’t and you keep carrying heavy pieces in the van .. just a thought Absolute gold nuggets of a channel found you through Chris Allen Struggler and been watching every episode ever since keep it up… much respect for giving the attention to all these local lads and businesses not many people do this
Another packed episode young man. It will be about twenty years since I went to Wrennalls yard. On a few occassions I did driver cover for a firm that shifted waste onto farms with a JCB Fastrac and trailer which used to be parked in their yard overnight. I remember seeing a brand new John Deere 7530 one day in the building where the chopper was parked, a very nice bit of kit indeed and alll their gear was really well looked after. I was supposed be off doing a repair this morning but its been postponed so it was grand to sit back with a brew and have an easy start to a day. Cal did a great job on that bucket, just needs a flash of paint on it to give it the new look. Top content as usual young man!
Do you hardface weld your buckets, as a maintenace item rather than waiting for them to wear out. Logging camps i worked at had the excavator buckets hardfaced on the sides and bottoms every winter.
A few years ago we had a 7 ton 360 nicked. They backed a stolen Hovis bread wagon up to a low wall, and tracked it straight in, with the arm sticking out the back. It was caught on CCTV, at 2-30am, and it was parked in their camp, in full view of the road, not far away, but the Police wouldn't go in, they just told us to claim the insurance.
There was a time in the late 90s early 00s that boys were just putting on high viz vests , pulling up on motorway jobs with a low loader and just taking machines. No one batted an eyelid for a week 😂😂😂
Can you imagine the idiots that stole the jcb realising baz has been tasked with finding and retrieving it and now he’s offering a reward for information 😵🫨🥵 once they changed there underwear and got rid off the smell off 💩I would think the next move would be is to call the police and hope they picked them up before baz makes it round there. Good luck recovering it and I hope the criminals get what they deserve 😉. as always an excellent video and good to see you being good to the young lads that are trying there best. Your a good boss “firm but fair” and always showing an example that your not above dealing with the crap yourself. Great channel guys 👍🏻
Good episode. like the promotion of the local businesses and the visit to glasson dock, interested to see the comings and goings of the port be good to see what’s in store for fleetwood and the other new docks 🚢 🚜 🛻
What an absolute joke of a comment by the chap who is the pinned comment….. Callum I’m 50 year old and have seen and been to many places and you r kid, are literally mustard ok….!! And you baz, beyond a shadow of a doubt are thee best mentor, teacher and gaffer I’ve ever witnessed…. So kick them haters to the kerb, and much love to our director also…. TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK METHINKS ❤❤❤❤
I like that bucket young Cal rebuilt. He followed the line of the bucket floor so it will it have good reach. Good to see everyone keeping out of mischief. Any update on that "open day"?
35:30 Hi Baz ,on the Hire of the 225 with the Muncher Attachment would it not be better to simply refuse a Muncher Attachment unless it’s on a 30 Ton Hire? I’m assuming that FOX are hiring both the machine and attachment of course . Nice Upload as always plenty variety as always. 🤜🏼⚡️🤛🏼
@@welderfabber Therein lays the issue. Perhaps a waver on the hire agreement on the 25T that a muncher shouldn’t be fitted? Ie responsibility falls straight on them then. I hired a mini last week from Smith’s that came with an Oger Attachment but straight away it was evident that the machine was too small due to the weight and torque but we managed and luckily didn’t bend or break anything. I told them a 3t machine should be the minimum for that attachment.
35:45 love that Colchester Triumph 2000 lathe, I paid for a 15x50 Colchester Triumph 2000 back in 2007, but the guy I put up the money for never paid me......that is a wonderful lathe to use....
Callum great job on bucket tell baz watch out u could be the next man in charge and u will b telling baz what to do and it will b u and director no the road and daz fixing buckets keep up the good work callum 😊
Brilliant chapter again Baz and Director, should start producing buckets and Name then calman bucket, as cal made a Brilliant job worth his weight in gold, can't wait for the next one
That new kemppi looks like a bit of a good tool. Much more portable than the other stuff on the market. Just shows how a good fabrication shop can save a company. You should do a profit sharing thing with the lads keep them hungry and keen 👍
Just caught up after a Saturday shift. And as for Cal I assumed he was older due to his skill level.
I noticed on local news that Silloth port had been bought by Fox Group but genuinely never put 2 and 2 together until you mentioned the Fox Group you work for had bought 2 ports. I feel slightly stupid now.
Very amateurish. Poor quality content. Poor quality audio & audio. Def going to unsubscribe.
Director here... This deserves a pin, just checking your channel out for tips on how to do it better, thanks for the feedback buddy.
U messing 👎🏻
Baz here. I’m not as nice as the director when it comes to negativity on my channel. Unsubscribe and stay away!

I know of Wrennalls, didn’t know they did ram repairs.👍
Baz, is there no aftermarket plant parts suppliers or seal manufacturers you can use to keep costs down, or is it a preference to use OEM parts?
