      @@copilotcoder we follow the west for many reasons. Not just gdp. GDP is no doubt a good thing about European countries. But we follow them in skin colour, clothing, language, festivals. We use dj for having fun. And that even adds on to our own culture which has bad and good side both. We have a clear preference for the bad side of both culture.

      no not japan.. i cant say about china but in japan people live separatly .and the old people die alone in their houses and people know about it only after their bodies start to stink due to deterioation. this is called "kodukoshi".and it is a really big problem in japan

Caste discrimination was a result of institutionalisation of the Varna system, which happened before the British colonised us. The Sati Pratha also existed before the British colonised us, even if it is not authorised by the Hindu scriptures, I would say the Mughals are to blame for that. And the claim that overpopulation and corruption came from the west is just absurd, I don't think I need to debunk that.

    I am from india, my father died in 1999, my grandmother is the head of faimily, my uncle plays the responsibilites of my dad.
    My children have grandfather as my uncle and they also have the grand grandmother.
    So basically we are 4 generations living together.

      Parents must give more freedom to sons after their marriage . Some parents rule over their children and literally act as dictators . Some oldies too die as foolish . Social Cultural education / counseling is must for boy's parents before the marriage of their son . It is must .

    In our Indian culture and religion even the relatives friends and society owes the responsibility of every member young or old !
    If only 4 - 5 neighbouring families club together to take care of a lonely elder person then it becomes very easy for the society as a whole to get rid of this menace and the the elderly people will have a good atmosphere in there evenings of life !!

    The Indian culture of taking care of the elderly is the best possible and there are enormous benefits for the whole society. I work in USA in health care and I see the suffering and loneliness of the elderly and it is very sad. I pray that in-spite of material progress in Bharat we do not forget the people who made it possible for us to achieve that progress. Excellent video! 🙏🏼

    India is actually drastically changing and indeed blindly started following west already 😢🤦‍♀️ I am 35 yrs old and my mom is 73 years old and she is living with me. I am not married yet because most of the girl I looked were rejected by me because they are not okay with my mom staying with me. It is okay if I am not married, but I won't leave my mom in old age home. Peace ✌.

I never said I don't take care of girl side family, don't turn it into a different issue. Understand the context of my comment which is inline with the message conveyed in the video. No old age parents should live in old age home, whether it is girl side or boy side.

      @@tube4kram but in indian set up it’s a struggle already for the women..so it’s almost always girl who suffers..so u can’t just give a blind eye to why women are choosing to move out..it should be fair for both man and woman..but that to happen in current Indian “set up” , impartially...girl and boy should live in both families..which is what I told..girls should not have any restrictions like where she should confirm to and all..otherwise all this is a joke about age old people and their struggles..because just girl’s youth is sacrificed for some other people’s old age..
