Very cool mod! You fixed everything that I found a bit lacking. Maybe you could use 1x1 trans orange plates at the headlights to indicate turn signals, but I’m not sure how it would look.
incredible front and really nice solution ! the back was nice on original and i ill just change spoiler. for the side windows i think about erase the print on the side and may be use sticker piece at the back
Beautiful work on the front, much better than the original design. The wind screen replacement was a great touch as well. The only downside is that the red pieces for the front are somewhat hard to find. Do you have a parts list for the mods?
The front is stuning, everything fits so nicely! If I had one thing to change its the C pillar, maybe replacing one trans cheese slope with a black triangle tile with red background like the audi quattro did just to have the transition between window and pillar less vertical
These headlights are soooo much better than the other headlight mods purely because this version doesn't make the 2x2 red printed wedge plates stick out an extra plate to each side. Because that solution looked super ugly. Great job!
While I love the original speed champions model, this one is absolutely amazing. These small improvements really makes for a far better endresult and for once, it doesn't seem like a ton of stability is sacrificed to make this work.
Really solid mod For me personally I didn't really have any issues with the set apart from minifgs not fitting and the hole in the door, everything else felt really well done to me, the spoiler is forgivable and I don't really have an issue with the small windows nor the headlights even if it's a different approach, since it's still a really creative solution instead of just slapping a sticker on a slope and calling it a day. In the end these are still mostly toys, not full scale replicas. While I understand people being put off by some of the solutions and offering genuine criticism to the new Speed Champions lead, I think people who are a complaining about the realism of a lego model down to the tiniest stud should get a die cast or scale model instead.
I can't help but wonder how the devs at Lego can't come up with these solutions. I mean, you can't make a model of such an iconic car, and not make it the best. Why leave gaps where headlights should be? Why make the sides of the rearwing a different form then the original? I mean, I LOVE Lego, but sometimes they just seem to not be dedicated to get the models right. Look at the Formula1 models, with the wrong size rear wheels, or the hood of the Lamborghini Sian. I'll stop complaining now.😊 Great work with this mod!
Jerry, I have to ask. The reason you switched to transparent black pieces on the back window, was it to match the transparent canopy piece? Just doesn't look right in transparent black. Why did you take the engine feature out?
Yes, I wanted to match the printed canopy…I actually like the back window on the original model but if you compare it to the real car i is a bit too long and shiftwd forward. I cared only about the exterior look but there are certainly better ways to make the engine visible. You can keep the original back and just change the headlights for sure. Trans clear parts would be much better but I don’t have the righ ones.
This is fantastic! When will you have the PDF and XML files available? I'm not sure I have all the spare parts I need, so I'm looking to double check against your build list. Do you generally include a list of just the extra parts in addition to the set? Thanks for your work, happy to support!
Out of interest, did you try the rear louvre window technique you used on your previous F40 MOC? I kinda like that solution a bit more than this and just wondered if that would work on this one?
I will say your rear wing mod is closest thing to the real car. I will also point something out that I don't think anyone has mentioned about this set. The sets car rear wing was modeled after the F50(wider wing), so the designer messed up. If you were able to do it, then the LEGO designer could have done it too!
@@liamgorman3947 incorrect! Do some research as they have different functions on a car. The main difference between a wing and a spoiler is the way they redirect airflow. A wing, also known as an automotive airfoil, deflects airflow upward to generate negative lift. Meanwhile, a spoiler acts as a barrier that disrupts localized airflow to reduce airspeed and lift.
These are the best looking headlights I have ever seen in any Lego F40, MOC or anything
That headlight solution is something else man, builds this good make me wonder what techniques I might be missing in my own builds
Wheres the extra mods part list bro please?
Cool mod, I consider doing the front headlight part and leave the back as is since it doesnt bother me.
Wow that is the best mod of this vehicle I’ve seen, looks perfect! Please upload an extra parts list and I’ll definitely do the mod myself!
It's perfect and looks much better and more accurate than the kit. Beautiful work
thats the bestheadlight mod till now... wowoooww
THIS IS THE BEST MOD YET, AWESOME, JUST AWESOME
The best headlight mod I've seen so far. The downside is that those red road sign pieces are impossible to get at this moment on Bricklink 😢
Very cool mod! You fixed everything that I found a bit lacking. Maybe you could use 1x1 trans orange plates at the headlights to indicate turn signals, but I’m not sure how it would look.
Fantastic work as always Jerry - any chance you have a list of just the extra pieces? Just picked up my set a few days ago.
What were the extra peices?
Those headlights look incredible😊

Wow, amazing Lego Speed Champions Ferrari F40 mod. 👍
Beautiful work on the front, much better than the original design. The wind screen replacement was a great touch as well. The only downside is that the red pieces for the front are somewhat hard to find. Do you have a parts list for the mods?
I wasn't going to get this one as i have built the Custom Creations F40 but this mod actually tempts me to get the SC F40 now
The front is stuning, everything fits so nicely! If I had one thing to change its the C pillar, maybe replacing one trans cheese slope with a black triangle tile with red background like the audi quattro did just to have the transition between window and pillar less vertical
I also tried that but it was not lining up with the canopy very well
@@JerryBuildsBricks you are right I tried it too
That's awesome as always mate. Could you please upload a part list?
This is pretty great and a lot better than the original!
These headlights are soooo much better than the other headlight mods purely because this version doesn't make the 2x2 red printed wedge plates stick out an extra plate to each side. Because that solution looked super ugly. Great job!
That was exactlz what I wanted to fix. Thanks.
u shouldbe in lego designer team! INCREDIBLE MODEL!!!!!!!!
Been reading the comments and everyones asking for a parts list. So can we please have a parts list 🤙
You are a Genius 🙏🏻 Thank You
Awesome. Would be great to see more transformers mods. Yours were the best I’ve seen.
Finally it gots some headlights, Lego should hire you right now🥳
is there any rebrickable link for this? looking for the extra parts needed
Great mod and great instruction.
Fixes are sick! Would love a parts list to maybe make these changes myself 🤙
26:32 what a sneaky good build. Just wow.
The headlight looks great

I am not complaining for sure, I just want to show it’s possible. I like the original for what it is as well 👍
Can you please publish the extra parts needed for this great mod ? 🙏 good job as usual dear Jerry 👏 👌 👍 😊
@sherifsabry6411 I will do it over the weekend. Almost ready
Wow! Do you perhaps have a parts list?
Best mod! but there are questions to the back, the canonical yellow number plate
That is true, I missed that! 🙂 But that is actually very easy to do

Amazing!!
This is wonderful
Thanks
That window line is my biggest complaint. Why did they do that? It looks much more authentic without the side printing.
This is crazy
Cool! Great solutions.
I was just thinking of you, both of you guys have cool mods

Amazing mod, unfortunately I have every part but the headlight glass
Is there an additional parts list anywhere please?
coming up
I'm a little late has it been posted anywhere yet?
@@JerryBuildsBricks where would you post it?
I will post it in the description. You can expect it sometimes this week
3 weeks in, still no parts list😢

this is my first mod tbh, doing the “just extra parts” list seems like a good idea, thanks
Awesome
Out of interest, did you try the rear louvre window technique you used on your previous F40 MOC? I kinda like that solution a bit more than this and just wondered if that would work on this one?
You can incorporate the for sure
pls make jeep wrangler moc
This is a good mod, the only thing is that I’m broke😭
Is there instructions for this mod?
please do the part list
Hi, Can I buy this instructions in pdf somewhere, cause I don't find them on your site? Thanks!
Great 🙏👍👍👍
does everything comes in the box for the mod?
No, I amed for the perfect solution so you need extra parts
How many extra piece needed to made this mod?
We demand part list!! I beg.
He remembered his password
All the pices from the set?
nope, it is heavily modified… but you can do just the headlights swap if you want
This mod looks like the same as the creator expert
are all the pieces for the headlight mod inside the set or do I have to order them?
nope, they are extra

Dude, your video is too long and putting me to sleep! Other LEGO content providers out there have done vids showing mod changes, in 15 min or less!
It is a complete rebuild of the car, not swapping a few of them 😀
