Chaos knights being able to use lord of skulls (its based of an old knight chassi from epic after all) , maulerfiends/forgefiends and whatever the spiderthing is called in a detachment would be nice. throw in the warpdragon flyer while you are at it if flyers are to remain in the game.
I'd love to see a daemonic chaos knight, something leaning into a possessed daemon machine. I've seen fan made kits of centaur like knights that could be done easilty.
for Votann I agree a Walker is needed, and if it is an Ironkin with a dreadnaught body , that would make it all the more interesting. I REALLY want to see Votann lean into weapons the space marine legions reserved for Destroyer units. Rad Projectors, Phosphex bombs and the like. on the vehicle side of things the Votann need an indirect fire Vehicle option. Easy way would be to take the Land Fortress Missile, and create a vehicle dedicated to that, similar to the Whirlwind or Manticore. There is also a need for a cheap transport that can carry a full sized Hearthkin Squad on the knights side of things, I have had this idea in my head for a while. a Quadraped chassis designed to take multiples of the turrets that are on Dominus and Questoris Knights. it gives a low the the ground unique chassis type, and a more medium fire support element instead of needing the huge guns of a dominus pattern. Imperial Knights and Freeblades need the option to double up on guns the way Chaos Knights can. I love me some Double Avengers. I do love the men at arms idea. litterally just give basic Guardsman Squads in Chimeras a home in the knight book for objective taking without losing rules

Thousand Sons want: one melee unit (rubrics, sorcerers in a squad, anything really as long as it’s not terrible), psyker dreadnought. I would be happy with the existing range of models + chaos generic ones we can take if I just get me something for hitting up close and get me a vehicle that synergizes with my rules
30:50 The only right choice for the BT release would be to use their codex to release a generic Jump Pack Chaplain that would fit their release and army, and be added to the roster for all marines. A cool unique BT Chaplain Dreadnought would be great tho.
As a Dark Eldar player i would just like to have our range available.... Also, if the old resin Lelith HEsperax could be redone in plastic that would be grand. The new one looks way worse.
Imperial knights: not getting gutted via datasheets. Making knights T11, and having a leman russ, the mass produced cheap tank be the same WITH a better save mind you. Is absurdly stupid, on a unit that is 3x the points with regularly weaker weapons. If we can avoid getting gutted for no reason, I would like to see 1 or 2 armiger types added, one for chaff and one for long range fire support with some AP.
Imperial Knights current rumor (Valrak) is that it's a new Armiger, so at least we might get that. (UNLIKELY) I'd like to see an Imperial kit similar to the Abhorrent that's Imperial-only, so Questoris/Dominus are for both factions and you have distinct Titanic+Armiger kits for each faction. Rules-wise I'd like to see Ser Hekhtur's rules (ideally with its own Kill Teams/Armsmen/Pilots kit) applied to ALL Knights. Makes it much more thematic.
Here's my list for the armies I can think of off the top of my head: Death Guard: plague dreadnought (like the old Forge Wolrd Nurgle Dreadnoughts), plague marine havocs. Thousand Sons: rubric dreadnought (like the old FW Thousand Sons dreadnought), rubric havocs, khenetai blade occult, sorcerer dreadnought World Eaters: Red Butchers, Teeth of Khorne, berzerker dreadnought (like the old FW World Eaters Dreadnought), foot-mounted chaos lord, terminator lord, berserker surgeon. Emperor's Children: As well as the stuff being rumoured, I'll ask for unique terminators and sonic dreadnoughts.
This plus I would love to see Tzaangor Enlightened removed from the Thousand Sons codex and instead Rubric on Disc squad. Or it could be the TS equivalent of a bike squad.
@@falsehero2001 Or better still, both! That way the helbrute can still be used and people who prefer old-style Chaos dreads can use them instead, like how it was in 7th edition (I think).

This, although I want dreadnought-sized Ironkyn also. There's a big one in the novel that came out, although more like termie sized I think? No reason they can't make them stompy big.
@@LowlandlordI think it’d be cool if they were closer in size to wraithguard and could be built as a melee unit wielding plasma great swords and either a bolt shotgun that can be shot as a pistol or a magna coil hand cannon (like you see in deep rock galactic), or a ranged unit that can carry a big volkite rifle or a magna rail rifle or even some graviton gun.
For the hypothetical epic character for chaos knights, it could be a chaos knight that has a greater daemon in it, kind of like the khorne lord of skulls
Tyranids could use a leader bug for gaunts, either something that gives OC or lets them reroll hit rolls/saves of 1 Outside of the tervigon wich is a sizeable commitment points wise you have to rely on auras to make your scoring units more useful
As small and easy to miss as it is, I appreciate that you take note of the downsides of the sponsor's terrain and don't act like it's the second coming of christ
Custodes are fine, you all were just spoiled and refused to learn when the codex took away your unearned dominance. And considering that the winner of the World Championship tournament used custodes, and one of the "weaker" detachments, git gud.
In the High Kahl novel that came out there is a Votann Ironkyn that is larger than the dudes in exo-suits, so maybe termie sized robot people? They would be cool, although I do really want Dreadnought sized one, and an armoured train!
World Eaters need more fast attack options. Juggernaut cavalry would be cool, but I would think they would have raptors and bikes. They had them in the stories.
Chaos Knights: if you are piloting an Abominant, you MUST follow the strict weapons layout. Because Chaos loves rules. Just let Chaos Knight players cook when making their Abominant knights and then you’ll see more on the battlefield.
Death Guard just need actual ranged anti-tank/anti-large monster, period! It sucks having to try and just spam mass dice rolls and/or try to throw Deathshrouds at big things and hope for the best
For Imperial Knights, I really want to see the Moirax in a plastic kit. It'd be the easiest kit for them to make for the faction and they'd likely update the rules for it if they did make it part of the codex. It'd be a win for GW as well because every knight player I know would get 2-4 of them.
I'm betting May release, since June is typically now the month for "new game edition launch boxes", and wouldn't you know it, Horus Heresy is hitting their 3yr mark this June... ;-)
Dark Eldar should have Wraithslaves. Wraithlords tortured into insane servitude. Like that one time that Asdrubael Vect deployed them during a displacement event in Commoragh. I don't even play DE or want the models, and I know their range is neglected.
For world eaters, i just want Red Butchers and another HQ choice like a world waters chaos lord and its variants. I already expect juggernaut squad is coming
Honestly at this point, I feel like WE/1kSons/DG are just going to get skipped over entirely for 10th, and they'll get rushed-out early 11th edition releases... The release calendar is just too packed, and GW has been slow-rolling every release this edition. If Guard + Eldar + Knights is all we're getting in the Feb -> May slots, then I just don't see how GW can push out the remaining 9-10 codices within the remaining 10 months or so before we hit the April 2026 'end of 10th ed releases' wall, and get set to move into 11th edition
How about support troops trained at debuffing enemy vehicles. Like trapper unit that can cause slow effects on enemy knights. Or a spotter unit that can pair like how the Tau use observers. Maybe giving indirect fire to Titanic weapons since you know they are big enough to be used like artillery?
My wishlist for World Eaters: 1. Slaughterbrute. It already has a model and the vortex beast has rules so why can't the brute? 2. Slaughterfiend. For those who don't know a slaughterfiend is a defiler that a khorne berzerker has subdued and taken control of. It has never had a model or rules but the idea is super funny and cool as berzerkers literally throw themselves at "friendly" defilers trying to "tame" it usually dying in the process. It would give WE a vehicle and gives GW a reason to update the defiler. 3. Red Butchers. Not just chaos termies painted red but proper unique sculpts of red butchers like they deserve. 4. Berzerker Bloodcrushers. A fast attack unit that makes sense for the jug lord and invocatus to lead. 5. Any forgeworld vehicles. Please you have the sculpts made just do what you can to make them work with plastic. 6. A unique transport. The possibilities of a Khorne themed transport are near endless and would make sense to get the berzerkers to the front mostly intact. My wishlist for Death Guard: 1. Non push-fit Lord of Contagion. Felthius and the Tainted Cohort is a great single purchase to kitbash the generic termie characters but the LoC should get a full (not online only) kit. 2. Semi-fast Possessed. DG needs more infantry and some quick melee possessed could be beautiful sculpts and fill a niche that DG doesn't have 3. A new Plague Marine kit(s). Yeah the 7 marine kit is haha nurgle number but it SUCKS and should never be bought on their own, you lose 3 models for the kit being $5 cheaper. The sculpts are very good, but the price for 7 is insane and the kit isn't very flexible for how varied the datasheet is. Maybe split marines into a melee and ranged kit & datasheet? World Eaters could branch out into a pretty diverse army and hopefully won't follow the chaos syndrome of having 2-3 times more character datasheets than infantry sheets. Death Guard is pretty close to being a full range id say, with daemons being wrapped into the legion codexes they can help diversify the infantry range and all DG needs is some kit tweaks and it's in cruise mode for a while.
Knights biggest possibilities: plastic Moirax kit, adoption of Cerastus and Acastus-class datasheets, dedicated datasheets for serf or fealty infantry. What I want: Bondsman to affect big Knights again
even though tau have already had a codex, i think a kroot transport could be very useful, especially for the new detachment. it would allow kroot to get in 9" for the detachment rule to be used and would allow them to get up safely because currently they are as tough as paper towels. also bring back knarlocs
I think Imperial/chaos knights need more non combat supporting units. Like servo skull swarms or servitor support cadres. Where their proximity to units provides a buff or a repair effect while being super weak and easy to take out.
@prestonjohnson1537 valid I do kind of want a system for spells but I understand they can be rules bloat, outside of the character requirement on the tsons army rule I'm pretty happy with how that's implemented
for League of Voltann i want bigger exosuits aka a mech or drednaut and armored exosuit squads similar to the Thunderkyn but more armor melta gun and melee weapon
The Tranceweaver going would leave a big hole in Slaanesh Daemons, it's almost essential to make Daemonettes dangerous. There used to be an option to have a Herald of Slaanesh on a Seeker, too, which would be a very handy model. Daemonettes in general could use a glow-up, you only have to look at how well the Juan Diaz metal ones did when they went made-to-order to see how dissatisfied people are with the current ones. I have over 100 Daemonettes and not one of the ones on foot is one of the current plastics.
It’s not like I need to paint MORE juggernauts (I already have bloodcrushers and mighty skullcrushers) but cavalry would be way better for World Eaters than specific legion terminators, as far as gameplay is concerned. Though there’s no reason we can’t get both. I even kind of expect multiple new models both for them and for Votann, as the newest armies.
The generic Chaos Terminator entry is just complete gak at this point, especially with how GW did combi-weapons so dirty this edition... Give me badass melee Termies for WE's please. Maybe throw in a heavy flamer & an ichor cannon that sprays burning daemonic blood as ranged weapon options? Also give me my damn Teeth of Khorne, access to Vindicators, and a couple proper Khornate Daemon engines. GW can take back the stupid Dinobots as a trade-off ;-) Finally, give us a really elite PA melee unit that's all 'ancient gladiator' themed to really lean into the Legion's history, and our own unique Traitor Guard unit that would be equivalent to 'Chaos Arbites' in terms of equipment + armour. (ie: shotguns, pistols/ccw's, flamers, meltas, grenades launchers, etc...)
with the new astra militarum combat patrol, I'm turning the cadian command squad into arco-flagelents since you get so many extra electro-flails in the arco kit. The Command squad seems like a real weird addition.
I would LOVE to have an actual kit though for the Lord of Contagion instead of only the push-fit Lord Felthius set... plus options to go along with. Or else a kit w/2 potential builds, one which is the Lord of Contagion, and the alt build that is a new Mantle of Corruption, such as perhaps a Lord of Poxes? Also wouldn't mind a proper kit for our Sorcerers... again, make it a kit instead of just a clamshell pack, and have 2 possible builds allowing for a Malignant Plaguecaster + a new 'cult' sorcerer (ie: a Slopjaw Maggotmancer maybe?)
As I said many times. Resculps won't cut it for Dark Eldar/ Drukhari! Since 2010 we had no new additions to the roster of units. Since 2010 it has only gotten smaller.
In regards to the whole "Loyalist Armigers vs Chaos Wardogs" problem, you would hope that GW gives loyalists more variety than just the two basic armigers plus the mechanicum. Especially with over half of the six Chaos variants being mid/close range anti-vehicle/monster oriented, it would make sense that the new ones for Imperials would be more mid/long range and oriented towards anti-infantry or variants that have a singular main weapon and TWO secondary smaller weapon options instead. To that end, my concept of the "Nocturnis", "Medusean", and “Typhoon” heavy armigers; discovered by the Salamanders, Iron Hands, and Militarum forces respectively, these three variants are the median between the typical Armiger and a Questoris class knight - at the cost of lower movement speed, they gain increased durability and are each armed with exotic or esoteric weapons. Additionally, they would NOT have the “Battleline” keyword and would instead be under the “other units” tab and be eligible to function as "characters" the same way that Stalkers are. The leadership and OC would.remain the same, as it's still a singular model. 220 points Nocternis (10", T11, 3+, 16W) is armed with a carapace mounted "Prometheum Culverin" (36", D6+2A, WS3+, S8, AP1, DAM2; Rapid FireD6+2 and Devastating Wounds) as well as two Heavy Flamers mounted on each arm, each being able to swap out with Twin-Linked Multi Meltas. Ability: "Furnace of Faith" - at the end of each turn, if this model has killed any other models, it regains d3 wounds. If it destroyed an entire unit or a character model, regain d3+3 instead. 240 points Medusean (8", T11, 3+, 16W) is armed with a carapace mounted "Gorgon's Gaze" (essentially a lascannon that gets three shots, but also has Anti-Vehicle/Monster 4+ and Devastating Wounds). It's secondary weapons would be a pair of TwinLinked Heavy Stubbers on each arm, which can each be swapped for a TwinLinked Missile Launcher (standard Frag and Krak profiles, but with the addition of Indirect Fire) Ability: "Prototype Designs" - While on an objective you control or selected as a Bondsman target, choose one of the following - · Weapons gain "Ignores Cover". · Objectives within range of this model remain under your control, even when there are no allied units on the objective 235 Points Typhoon (8”, T11, 14W) is armed with a hull mounted “Hailstorm Scattergun” (48”, 2d6+6A, 3+, S6, AP1, DAM1; Rapid Fire 2d6+3, Anti-Fly 2+, Devastating Wounds) as well as each arm having a Hurricane Bolter Ability: “Sudden Squall” - This unit can begin the game in Deepstrike or in the deployment zone. If starting in Deepstrike, weapons gain Assault and Anti-Infantry 3+; if starting in your deployment zone, weapons gain Sustained Hits 2.
As Death Guard player, I really want more poxwalkers support. Something like Master of Walking Poxes, that can join poxwalkers and give them buffs, like +1 to hit or to wound, or even devastating wounds, that would be great. Poxwalkers died as archetype of army in the 10th, in 9th and 8th they had crazy scary combos, in 10th their only purpose are additional wounds for Typhus
What I would like to see for Chaos Knights is a named character like Canis Rex. They got plenty of options. One wild one is that knight that is covered in skin who is followed by a bunch of necron flayed ones. Let his rule be that he can bring 5 or 10 of them with him. Wouldn´t be too strong and kinda funny
For the Death Guard, I can imagine a Nurgle specific Daemon Prince would be a good choice, the old metal model looked very good, so a plastic one would be wonderful to see. For the Aeldari, with all the new Aspect Warriors on their way, I wonder if Karandras could be their special Games Day model of the year, like Celestian Sacresant Aveline was in 2024? Moving on to 11th Ed, I could see them retooling the Dire Avengers. The current tooling is 'okay', but the legs don't fit together well, unlike how modern kits do. Expanding further, perhaps we'll see a Corsair themed 11th Ed... with command and vehicle kits. Also, it would be an interesting way to introduce the Exodite's too. Regarding Votann, GW have an opportunity to flesh out the faction into a full army from the basic core they have now.
I really hope they dfon't mix daemons with the god - aligned legions. It would be a very miserable way of dealing with the lack of love given to these legions (even to DG to a lesser extent) instead of giving them proper units.
I'd love to see more flexibility with using Knights as Allied Units. Lets us use knight army detachments/rules in a SM/Chaos army and also change the cap limit of wardogs/armigers as 2 instead of 3 (they come in boxes of 2 anyway) and allow us to use 1 titanic with the 2 smaller knights and I'm sure more people would be open to using them
'Breacher Marines' can be applied to any astartes army. If only as a rule of cool look verses functionality. And mentioning Yarrick...Ghazghul misses his 'friend' 😅
Honestly, if there had to be a brand new unit for the Drukhari, I'd want to see a dedicated sniper pain-engine. We need a dedicated anti-character built-in to the codex that *isn't* a named character or infantry as disposable as Wracks
I'd like a new Bjorn/Murderfang/Wulfen dreadnought kit, and then new Thunderwolf cave. Wolf guard and wolf guard termies would be cool, but I also wouldn't mind some sort of new primaris armored unit, maybe a Gravis unit armed with two handed axes as a new Wolf Guard equivalent.
Maybe the real codex was the friends we made along the way
Friends are hearsay!!

@@JonLupen Draigo was originally released in late 5th edition, around 2010/2011, when Codex Daemonhunters was re-branded as Codex Grey Knights
So no, Draigo is only at worst, a 14 year old model
Rumors are that GK's are getting an upgrade sprue for the Dreadknight this edition, and *maaaaaaybe* a Draigo resculpt.
But reliable sources are saying the full up-scaling reboot isn't until 11th edition, as GW has decided to use 10th to give the 'main' non-compliant Chapters their main range refresh.
Chaos knights being able to use lord of skulls (its based of an old knight chassi from epic after all) , maulerfiends/forgefiends and whatever the spiderthing is called in a detachment would be nice. throw in the warpdragon flyer while you are at it if flyers are to remain in the game.
They should be allowed to take Vashtor as part of their army as well.
I'd love to see a daemonic chaos knight, something leaning into a possessed daemon machine. I've seen fan made kits of centaur like knights that could be done easilty.
Lelith Hesperax needs to be able to attack with her hair again.
for Votann I agree a Walker is needed, and if it is an Ironkin with a dreadnaught body , that would make it all the more interesting.
There is also a need for a cheap transport that can carry a full sized Hearthkin Squad
on the knights side of things, I have had this idea in my head for a while. a Quadraped chassis designed to take multiples of the turrets that are on Dominus and Questoris Knights. it gives a low the the ground unique chassis type, and a more medium fire support element instead of needing the huge guns of a dominus pattern.
Imperial Knights and Freeblades need the option to double up on guns the way Chaos Knights can. I love me some Double Avengers.
I do love the men at arms idea. litterally just give basic Guardsman Squads in Chimeras a home in the knight book for objective taking without losing rules
An unarmed sagitaur towing a trailer with an artillery gun on the back that can either be a regular howitzer, a plasma mortar, or those hekaton warheads
THUDD GUNS!!!!!!!!!!
Sword Brother Termies would be insanely cool, since we have been coverting Dark Angel terminators as it is, it shouldn't be a difficult change.
GW literally admitted they simply forgot Karandras when redesigning the Scorpions. He'll be about at a later date.
You are kidding... right? How do you forget one phoenix lord but just one?
@@CainAhlin i can see it, with how many kits they updated and updating scorpions recently I can see them thinking they already have the scorpion lord sorted out.
@@CainAhlin The Scorpions were redone for Kill Team, so the design team didn't think about a Phoenix Lord, as they aren't in KT. By the time they remembered t was too far along in the process to add him in.
The biggest things knights are missing is support infantry. That is what I hope for most
Chaos Kinghts, a workable faction mechanic
Dark pacts
A Sonic Dreadnought or Chaplain Dread would be a pretty low blow to us BA players since they just took our Librarian Dread and our wings!
30:50 The only right choice for the BT release would be to use their codex to release a generic Jump Pack Chaplain that would fit their release and army, and be added to the roster for all marines.
A cool unique BT Chaplain Dreadnought would be great tho.
Drukhari players would likely love to get their rules for the Hand of the Archon kill team adapted to 40k
As a Dark Eldar player i would just like to have our range available.... Also, if the old resin Lelith HEsperax could be redone in plastic that would be grand. The new one looks way worse.
Both knight books need giant motorbikes to ride 😂
But seriously they could do with some fast attacks option. Like a hunter dog mech or something
Would really love for a centaur knight to be a thing in Chaos Knight's
Dreadnought type unit would be cool
@@mattyorshin... I mean, knights are just dreadnoughts but big and less coffin
@@Asageun yea but I mean like small units of knights for the army. But some kind of fast tank is what they need
@mattyorshin something like a wardog perhaps? It could be like the armigers imperial knights have but way stronger, oh wait a sec
You nailed what Death Guard want.
Daemons will get Primaris Daemons so everyone has to repurchase a new army that can’t be used in AoS.
A Daemon Prince War Dog that can deep strike and/or warp around the board just to give a different game style to Chaos Knights.
For Black Templars, they need to change the Marshall and Castellan to not just be weaker Captains and Lieutenants.
Here's my list for the armies I can think of off the top of my head:
Death Guard: plague dreadnought (like the old Forge Wolrd Nurgle Dreadnoughts), plague marine havocs.
Thousand Sons: rubric dreadnought (like the old FW Thousand Sons dreadnought), rubric havocs, khenetai blade occult, sorcerer dreadnought
World Eaters: Red Butchers, Teeth of Khorne, berzerker dreadnought (like the old FW World Eaters Dreadnought), foot-mounted chaos lord, terminator lord, berserker surgeon.
Emperor's Children: As well as the stuff being rumoured, I'll ask for unique terminators and sonic dreadnoughts.
My boy loves his dreads
A new chaos dreadnought that can be customized like the daemon prince can to fit the different chaos factions would be fantastic
@@buildaburn8468 The current Hellbrute kit is still pretty good, despite it being over a decade old now. Maybe chaos god specific upgrade sprues?
This plus I would love to see Tzaangor Enlightened removed from the Thousand Sons codex and instead Rubric on Disc squad. Or it could be the TS equivalent of a bike squad.
@@falsehero2001 Or better still, both! That way the helbrute can still be used and people who prefer old-style Chaos dreads can use them instead, like how it was in 7th edition (I think).
Hi, World Eaters player here, umm... can we PLEASE get our juggernaut cavalry unit and stop pretending the Eightbound are humanoid cavalry? Thank you!
Honestly, my biggest ask is just our cav.
That and a faction specific Lord on foot please. Maybe a Sage of Slaughter
Additional Aeldari models to come out with the codex - Corsair prince, void dreamer (Corsair seer), void storm (jump pack corsairs) and vyper
We already know we're getting teh wrong version of Noise Marines, so my (almost certainly going to be proven incorrect) hope is that when ECs come out we get some new Chaos bikes lead by DOOMRIDER
Just give my space dwarves another big vehicle like the battle train😂
This, although I want dreadnought-sized Ironkyn also. There's a big one in the novel that came out, although more like termie sized I think? No reason they can't make them stompy big.
@Lowlandlord I haven't read the new book yet but I would love to see that too.
I don't even play Dark Eldar, but I'd love to see Dais of Destruction return!
For the hypothetical epic character for chaos knights, it could be a chaos knight that has a greater daemon in it, kind of like the khorne lord of skulls
I really want to see a shield bearer unit for Death Guard and a mech of some kind for Votann.
Blood Slaughterer would be amazing to get back for WE
Tyranids could use a leader bug for gaunts, either something that gives OC or lets them reroll hit rolls/saves of 1
Outside of the tervigon wich is a sizeable commitment points wise you have to rely on auras to make your scoring units more useful
As small and easy to miss as it is, I appreciate that you take note of the downsides of the sponsor's terrain and don't act like it's the second coming of christ
Some would like to return theirs
(tau, custodes)
Can't return what we never bought lol
Custodes are fine, you all were just spoiled and refused to learn when the codex took away your unearned dominance. And considering that the winner of the World Championship tournament used custodes, and one of the "weaker" detachments, git gud.
@@MrHoneuma Believe it or not, the majority of players aren't tryhard tourney waacfags.
They had them in the stories.
make Grey Knights Great Again. they're so damn TINY
Chaos Knights: if you are piloting an Abominant, you MUST follow the strict weapons layout. Because Chaos loves rules.
Just let Chaos Knight players cook when making their Abominant knights and then you’ll see more on the battlefield.
So many cool bodily horror units they could make for haemonculus covens And they need to make a return for Vect.
Thunderbolt or Lightning?
Very very frightening!
Galileo😂
Death Guard needs some anti tank. Like we do fine, but you really do have to prep if you're going against tanks or monsters.
The Death Guard need some more blast weapons like the AoS Skaven. Spread the plague with the wind.
Styrix and Magaera are just as easy.
They are like 80% existing plastic with some resin extras just like the Moirax.
@@rankcolour8780
That's true.
I want IK and CK to have a baneblade with a knight ontop or a Jetpack knight
Man wants Armored Cores (i dig it)
Imp knights is apparently slated for May/June release.
I'm betting May release, since June is typically now the month for "new game edition launch boxes", and wouldn't you know it, Horus Heresy is hitting their 3yr mark this June... ;-)
BT: Point reduction for Helbrecht and Grimaldus back to pre-nerf. A new castellan kit! OR a Black Templar Chaplain kit!!
I really need a knarloc. I can't beleave they didn't give me a knarloc
Dark Eldar should have Wraithslaves. Wraithlords tortured into insane servitude. Like that one time that Asdrubael Vect deployed them during a displacement event in Commoragh. I don't even play DE or want the models, and I know their range is neglected.
Tsons Melee units on disks please 🙏
Hear me out; celestian sacresants on horseback led by a palatine or Canoness riding a serberys canid supported by retributors with seraphim wings
And then sisters with two one handed weapons or one two handed with jet pack
I'd really like a split for blightlords, like the crisis suits. One could be a flamer squad with 5 flamers (2 good, 3 average ones) for example.
I hope for men-at-arms and a rumored new knight with the IK codex.
How about support troops trained at debuffing enemy vehicles. Like trapper unit that can cause slow effects on enemy knights. Or a spotter unit that can pair like how the Tau use observers. Maybe giving indirect fire to Titanic weapons since you know they are big enough to be used like artillery?
@codename1176 that sounds good too
My wishlist for World Eaters:
My wishlist for Death Guard:
1. Non push-fit Lord of Contagion. Felthius and the Tainted Cohort is a great single purchase to kitbash the generic termie characters but the LoC should get a full (not online only) kit.
2. Semi-fast Possessed. DG needs more infantry and some quick melee possessed could be beautiful sculpts and fill a niche that DG doesn't have
Personally I think GW should do an EC vs aeldari box when the EC codex drops
Knights biggest possibilities: plastic Moirax kit, adoption of Cerastus and Acastus-class datasheets, dedicated datasheets for serf or fealty infantry.
What I want: Bondsman to affect big Knights again
I’m sure that’ll end up being a Strat in one of the new knight detachments
@ and I shall weep for the glory that was lost for the crimes not of an ability, but the crimes of a keyword.
even though tau have already had a codex, i think a kroot transport could be very useful, especially for the new detachment. it would allow kroot to get in 9" for the detachment rule to be used and would allow them to get up safely because currently they are as tough as paper towels. also bring back knarlocs
I think Imperial/chaos knights need more non combat supporting units.
Like servo skull swarms or servitor support cadres. Where their proximity to units provides a buff or a repair effect while being super weak and easy to take out.
Grey Knights getting their psychic powers back and maybe psychic bikes would be cool.
I would love some horses or shields for my knights.
A detachment that follows tsons cabal system could be possible but psychic phase is gone 😅
Yes to (mech horses, elephants, flightless birds) and shields too
@crono252 don't need a phase, just the powers back in whatever phases they'd be relevant.
@prestonjohnson1537 valid I do kind of want a system for spells but I understand they can be rules bloat, outside of the character requirement on the tsons army rule I'm pretty happy with how that's implemented
Wulfen are fine. The kit goes together great and it looks fine. They do not need a redo.
for League of Voltann i want bigger exosuits aka a mech or drednaut and armored exosuit squads similar to the Thunderkyn but more armor melta gun and melee weapon
I’d love imperial knights to get an admirer with two melee weapons as a counter part to the chaos knights
i want a knight with a big ass cannon on the top of it like that one titan
GW can take back the stupid Dinobots as a trade-off ;-)
Finally, give us a really elite PA melee unit that's all 'ancient gladiator' themed to really lean into the Legion's history, and our own unique Traitor Guard unit that would be equivalent to 'Chaos Arbites' in terms of equipment + armour.
Librarian dreadnought for Blood Angels since that model was such a large part of the game for BA players for so long
I patiently await my Catachan getting a refresh!
Did you forget the Decimator and Kytan for the WEs?
Deathguard don’t need anymore characters. We have almost as many as space marines have lieutenants.
25:00 imagine if they bring back Kruellagh the Vile 😂
As I said many times. Resculps won't cut it for Dark Eldar/ Drukhari! Since 2010 we had no new additions to the roster of units. Since 2010 it has only gotten smaller.
What faction are you talking about
@pythonking16.59 Dark Eldar/Drukhari.
Jump Armigers of some kind would be amazing for Knights. Probably my favorite thing that Battletech has that they don't is the jump jets.
220 points
Nocternis (10", T11, 3+, 16W) is armed with a carapace mounted "Prometheum Culverin" (36", D6+2A, WS3+, S8, AP1, DAM2; Rapid FireD6+2 and Devastating Wounds) as well as two Heavy Flamers mounted on each arm, each being able to swap out with Twin-Linked Multi Meltas.
Ability: "Furnace of Faith" - at the end of each turn, if this model has killed any other models, it regains d3 wounds. If it destroyed an entire unit or a character model, regain d3+3 instead.
240 points
Medusean (8", T11, 3+, 16W) is armed with a carapace mounted "Gorgon's Gaze" (essentially a lascannon that gets three shots, but also has Anti-Vehicle/Monster 4+ and Devastating Wounds). It's secondary weapons would be a pair of TwinLinked Heavy Stubbers on each arm, which can each be swapped for a TwinLinked Missile Launcher (standard Frag and Krak profiles, but with the addition of Indirect Fire)
Ability: "Prototype Designs" - While on an objective you control or selected as a Bondsman target, choose one of the following -
· Weapons gain "Ignores Cover".
· Objectives within range of this model remain under your control, even when there are no allied units on the objective
235 Points
Typhoon (8”, T11, 14W) is armed with a hull mounted “Hailstorm Scattergun” (48”, 2d6+6A, 3+, S6, AP1, DAM1; Rapid Fire 2d6+3, Anti-Fly 2+, Devastating Wounds) as well as each arm having a Hurricane Bolter
Ability: “Sudden Squall” - This unit can begin the game in Deepstrike or in the deployment zone. If starting in Deepstrike, weapons gain Assault and Anti-Infantry 3+; if starting in your deployment zone, weapons gain Sustained Hits 2.
Leagues of Votann could use more heavy vehicles. A mech of some sort would be nice
I would absolutely love to see some more Thousand Sons releases.
I don't want named characters i want to give them their own names and make them cool
Imagine thinking that the next Thousand Sons box won't also be loaded with Tsaangors.
I would love a Heavy infantry/Mech for the Votann. A tank or something would be cool too.
I wonder what the Word Bearers special unit will be?
I'd love to see more flexibility with using Knights as Allied Units. Lets us use knight army detachments/rules in a SM/Chaos army and also change the cap limit of wardogs/armigers as 2 instead of 3 (they come in boxes of 2 anyway) and allow us to use 1 titanic with the 2 smaller knights and I'm sure more people would be open to using them
'Breacher Marines' can be applied to any astartes army. If only as a rule of cool look verses functionality. And mentioning Yarrick...Ghazghul misses his 'friend' 😅
I've been wanting Pox Hounds for death guard since I was introduced to them in Darktide
Honestly, if there had to be a brand new unit for the Drukhari, I'd want to see a dedicated sniper pain-engine. We need a dedicated anti-character built-in to the codex that *isn't* a named character or infantry as disposable as Wracks
Votan: I'm hoping for Ironkin, the men of iron.
Chaos Knight: please give big knights thare more chaosy not just spikey IKs.
Heard from @ChapterMasterValrak that a Black Templar Ancient was coming anytime soon
Sword Brethren terminators, ancient or chaplains would be AWESOME for us!
