I remember the old guy you bought it from. He had many nice bikes, covered with sheets in his garage. If I remember correctly, all of his other vfr interceptors were red, white, and blue, and this was his only white one. Definitely a gorgeous bike, that would be fun to ride. My preference is the red, white, and blue ones, but this is very nice too. I remember how well,the guy you bought this from, kept his bikes up.

My dream bike growing up was an Interceptor 500 V-4. Those Honda bikes will run forever.

No they didn't, I've ruined 2 vf500f's
They had a major development issue, from the vfr(750) line on they fixed the unreliability with gear driven cams.
From that point on they were the most reliable bikes on the market or even possibly ever.

@@BinneReitsma Yeah, my Dad's V65 had a water pump issue or something. I liked his Nighthawk 650 more than that V65. Solid, standard bike. Never be sorry for educating people, my man. I am a sponge when it comes to bikes.

I settled for the 87 CBR600 Hurricane. Still have it. White with Gold pin striping came about 1990 I think. I was in Lust. But I had the CBR600..

The HD tariff caused Honda to reduce these from 750 to 700. You could get either size in RWB, or the 700 in White. Premium price for the 750 but the choice for racing. Kudo's to HD for pulling the tariff ahead of schedule when they started turning things around.

Have you ever got a Honda cbx 550,I had one in high school but I sold it to help my parents pay some bills, I really miss that bike,traveled a lot of miles went out to newfoundland once,wow that was quite the adventure 😊😊.
