I agree! Better Call Saul is slightly better than Breaking Bad. And it’s a shame many Breaking Bad fans have yet to watch this TV masterpiece. They don’t know what they’re missing out on.
I'm one of the biggest BB fans ever and never watched BCS because what I loved the most about BB were walt and Jesse's dynamic and hank was my other favorite. Saul brought some comic relief to it but he kinda annoyed me so I couldn't see liking BCS, but quite a few people have said it's better than BB. I absolutely cannot fathom that.
@@suzannesmith4882 In BCS he isn't the same comic relief that we see in BB. He gets fleshed out in a great way, and the dynamic between him and other characters is amazing. BCS is not trying to be BB, so i think watching it with that mindset is key, but I'd say BCS completes Saul's character in a great way since he is the main character instead of the comedic side character. Saul was definitely not my favorite character from BB, but BCS has changed my view a bit and I actually prefer BCS over BB. I'd say give it a try.

Season 1 was good, Season 2 is great, Season 3 is when people started saying it's THE best show currently on television. Then, Season 4 came along, and people started talking about it being one of the greatest shows ever made. And just in case there were any doubters, Season 5 cemented Breaking Bad as THE greatest show of all-time. And it ended on top. You're at the tip of the iceberg man. When they say this show keeps on getting better and better, even when you're thinking "c'mon... really? It gets better than this?" YES!! It literally does. All the way up until the very end, the show never stops its climb to the top of the mountain. Vince Gilligan, the creator and showrunner of Breaking Bad, is a genius! Even the little details, going all the way back to the first episode, have a purpose. And these details always come back around to being a part of the endgame. Vince Gilligan had the end already figured out in his head when he started this journey. And THAT is what great writing is all about.
And you got to meet one of the best characters of all time. Though to be honest this show is FILLED with some of the best characters of all time. And like you said ? Every episode will continue to get better and better . That scene with Walt distracting Hank while he was about to bust the go to prison for you guy and how tense that scene was is one of so many of those kind of scenes and the stakes just get higher and higher . Also, the character development in this show is just insanely good. I seriously wish I could fast forward time and come back here when you’re finished with the show so I can watch all your reactions of the whole show. Killing me with 1 episode a week 😂

Saul Goodman is definitely a colourful character, and there’s definitely much more to him than just being a witty, funny lawyer. Bob Odenkirk is a fantastic actor! Hehe, that reminds me of this video you should check out, on What If Saul Goodman represented Peter Parker in No Way Home! Actually kind of hilarious in hindsight, cause Bob Odenkirk does love superheroes 😉 There’s definitely a lot to Saul Goodman. Money might seem like the initial motivator, but there’s so much more to Mr. McGill than just money. Money might be a bonus, but there’s a genuine sense of loyalty. You’ll definitely see more behind the Saul Goodman character in Better Call Saul. I also loved that comparison between Hank and Walter. I love how there’s much more to Hank than just the manly confident exterior, and there’s this subtle, strong reminder that he’s still human underneath, and feels the weight in his shoulders, and his mental health has taken a real hit. Notice that Hank didn’t even have a comeback for Saul’s, as like you said, he was still suffering from those ordeals. There’s two sides to every coin. Speaking of which, that brings me to Walter, who ironically seems the more hardened between the two individuals between him and Hank. However, NOT being in touch with your conscience and being hardened can actually be a weakness of itself too. Being in touch with your mental health, emotions, conscience isn’t a bad thing, and is something that needs to be more normalized, and between Hank and Walt, it subtly shows where their respective standings are on the morality stand, Hank being shaken over staring death in the face, and Walter, despite seeming sensitive at first, becoming more hardened. There’s actually a comparison I’ve seen someone make between two certain characters, but I won’t quote it until a certain point where it all becomes apparent. Either way, I’m excited to see you continue the show, and to continue watching the show myself!
