Transformers Devastation with Sonic Frontiers music is back folks, Optimus Prime and Megatron are duking it out in a death battle while Sonic Frontiers Update 3 music plays in the background.
This time I'm caving in by popular demand, that and outright recycling old content, since the gameplay from the old video with the original version of "I'm Here" is exactly the same... And there's a good reason for it too, I do not think I'll ever be able to recreate the gameplay to fit the music like that ever again... it's literally "the stars aligned" kind of deal...
Also... I lost the original unedited recording of said gameplay, seeing as I never expected a newer version of "I'm Here" to begin with... I expected it to be a one and done deal... but I did keep the final rendered video as a memento. So I used some editing software and managed up to mash up Merry Kirk and Kellin Quinn's vocals... it was the best I could do...
I also added Gaby Borro's vocals from the newer version of I'm With You into the original instrumental... if it seems weird I apologize in advance... I wanted something different for a change and not redo the same video again in the 2nd half...

@paulzillaultimaspacebattle4967 actually it fits even better for this specific scene because you could tell megatron was debating whether to do it civil or fight to see who would get it. Honestly you could've put either of them to have this song in this battle just thst megatron would have a male voice singer singing it in a more darker tone😊
optimus entering a higher state of awareness and becoming unstoppable on the faint glimmer of hope of fighting for the ultimate good only to have that hope crushed beyond reckoning and being forced to make the toughest decision of his life

I know absolutely nothing about this game, but I absolutely love the writing of it from this alone. This with the Frontiers music hits deep, especially the line “Cybertron is the center of my universe, how is it not the center of your heart?”
Sad part is you can't legally buy the game anymore, because Activision let the license expire and it was pulled from stores. While it is short (I think around four hours), what is there is really good, both story and gameplay-wise, and the game is designed to be played many times, both on higher difficulties and as different characters.
Yea its a Metal gear rising situation where the game itself is really good but it is short as hell, frankly though I much prefer shorter games with replayablity, there are just to many damn games anymore thaf drain the life out of you cause of them 100h finish times, also if you read this far you can still get this game physically but it can be very pricey

Suddenly, Megatron vs freiza doesn't look so one side.
It honestly should've actually gone to Megatron, especially considering they were using the IDW version of him.
But they weren't gonna let Freeza lose since Goku was gonna die again.
No death battle use G1 Megatron with some IDW stuff sprinkle in
Oh Gosh, this version is even more beautiful, and the lyrics in "I'm with you" talking about home fit so much.
Wow. I never realized I missed out from not playing this game. The back and forth dialog between Optimus and Megatron is phenomenal, especially in the 2nd fight. Sonic Frontiers, you kicked my ass with your new dlc but you're definitely a gift that keeps on giving.

The revisited version fits this fight more than the original. The vocals of “I’m with you” made this even better that I almost cried.

Megatrons fighting to bring back cybertron from the dead and willing to destroy earth to do it for his own home cybertron, while optimus prime while still seeing cybertron as his home, is fighting to defend earth which he accepts as his new home. "now i come home" is some tragic stuff here cuz megatrons so close to getting cybertron back, but optimus has to stop him from what they did to their own planet with their war.

Transformers Devastation may easily be my most favorite game of all time! There are so many awesome things about it! And Megatron may easily be my most favorite boss/final boss ever! And as we said many times before, this game needs and deserves a sequel! And it also honsetly makes me want to pray that Toei Animation will make Transformers again, but as an fast paced, super powered anime! With some of the OG voice actors/actresses, and also some anime voice actors/actresses, as well!
Would've been perfect to have the track that plays while Shadow's falling to Earth at the end of Sonic Adventure 2 playing when Optimus is falling through orbit at the end.
this was just as good if not EVEN BETTER than its original.. honestly both versions are well put together... and i enjoy both songs and both games

As much as I love Megatron's themes in this game, Sonic Frontiers' music is so much more emotionally charged and fitting.

Okay, the beginning looked cool, as if Sonic and Shadow fought for the world, where Sonic wants to save the world, and Shadow intends to take over the world.
Gonna be honest i never liked the original I'm Here, this new version is a massive improvement and I actually do like it :D

Your original edit was already phenomenal, but this was a masterpiece. The Final Horizon DLC fully completed Frontiers, and it evokes so much emotion into this battle. Prime fighting at the end while the vocals play brings me to tears. He quite literally is fighting for this new home sweet home he's made in Earth. This was just beautiful

y'know, i saw this game on my xbox store a while back. it was a 60 dollar game, so i skipped out on it, mainly because ive conditioned myself to not buy full retail priced games. but boy, did i miss out. but seriously, thank you for uploading those files. you're a real one!

I have this game physical and I only played a few levels. I need to go back and finish this amazing game! And Mutant in Manhattan. Platinum Games did these two series Justice.
