I completely forgot how much like an episode of Prime this is.. I love it, If only this wasn't originally made for the DS, 3DS and Wii the graphics could have looked so much better.
Hey, at least they look pretty good for a third party tie in game. Usually those cash grabs look like garbage compared to stuff on previous systems, but besides being a little rough around the edges and not as fluid, everything looks really good. Could be a lot better by being on a more powerful system, but it could also be worse.
Writing. Voice Acting talent. Presentation. This is leaps and bounds ahead of it. I can't see them salvaging it with Kingdom unless they brought the original voice talent back.
So Thunderwing's gone from unknowingly aiding Unicron by seeking the Matrix in the G1 comic and causing a chain of events so the Autobots couldn't use it to destroy Unicron until the last minute to actually serving Unicron and given a mission to destroy the Matrix.....
Given that Thunderwing has free movement of his arm from it not being held down, I wouldn't exactly say he's restrained. Did that just skip their minds when making this? Like yeah he's damaged, but I'm sure he could just break the bindings around his legs with his free arm.

Ever since it ended, hasbro has failed to replicate a similar success. Not to mention both aforementioned shows also had much better writing that actually brought their plotlines to satisfying conclusions (in most cases, there are a few exceptions).
This game needs remaster with better graphics, and actually make Transformers Prime look like the cartoon, I would want this game to be re-released on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5 , Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC.

I didn't read the "game" in the title and i was asking myself where in the show was this giant cybertronian and how did the 5 manage to defeat him. I really thought this was from the show.
I do find it a little bit strange that after Thunderwing boasts to Megatron that he cannot comprehend the technology that was used to create him, Megatron merley counters this by introducing him to Ratchet of all people. As if that is supposed to be enough to somehow convince Thunderwing to accept Megatrons terms. As far as Thunderwing is concerned, Ratchet is just another Cybertronian - like Megatron. Yet, after seeing Ratchet, Thunderwing is all like: "Oh, okay; I guess you can actually rebuild me. Good enough. Go ahead and fix me then."
I thought this was a lost episode at first! Cutscene graphics look just like the show. Even the dialogue, combined with the voice acting had me convinced. Things like Megatron almost waxing poetic about his knowledge of cybertronian physiology or Thunderwing being wholey unimpressed by Megatron. I wouldn't be surprised if this games script was written by the show's writers.
Somebody please for Primus' sake make this into an actual movie idc if it's been just over a decade since prime ended we need to have this game as an actual movie.
This game was so good on both the Wii and DS/3DS Honestly the only agrravating flaw design wise is how flipping small the arena is when you fight Thunderwing on the handheld version. That and all the dark energon everywhere. Still one of my favorite games growing up though.

I looked up Thunderwing earlier and found out that this game actually came out eight years ago, so that must mean that this game came before Transformers Prime.
This game was released during season 2 and takes place during the first 2 seasons simultaneously thus explaining why Starscream, Dreadwing and Airachnid is with the decepticons even though Starscream and Airachnid were outcasts for the rest of dreadwings life
