Madam, I am a Catholic but you have pointed out something that definitely caught my interest, would love to meet you when I visit India & talk in detail! Keep up the good work & be Blessed!
My understanding of pitrupaksham was purely theoretical until i heard you....now i can ACTUALLY FEEL that connect with my ancestors ...can't thank you enough Gitaji🙏🙏🙏
So relevant in times today ! Your effort to present this topic which is completely shraddha based and hence non verifiable - is commendable and beautifully presented , coming straight rom the heart !!
Such systematic or religious ritual observed in one’s lifetime is disciplining the mind and being conscious of his existence as long as he lives. Hinduism is Amazing!
Very impressive talk about the Pitru Paksha. Many of this modern generation people r ignored of this . Those who know they to r not interested to perform. May be 1. Lack of time ( not surely) 2. Have no respect towards them 3. Some may not have facility. And so on , so on . Only one should know to pay our gratitude to our parents & ancestors because everyone has their heart & mind with them. At least they can chant one sloka from Bhagvat Geeta/ a single line from Vishnu Sahara Nama/ Afew lines from Bhagavatam on behalf of their forefathers. They can see how many blessings they received. Thank u Madam , it’s a nice talk by you. Hope many ,no no, all will follow because they r perfect.
Thank u ma'am, for telling us the importance and details of mahalaya Paksha,we are enriched with Ur information, please keep uploading like this,so that we grow spiritually more and more
Just when we were thinking our gen next is going to be alienated from our traditions , internet/social media has come as a boon to convince our children of the meaning and importance of our rituals
Very nicely explained ma'am. New generation is totally unaware of this concept. Good medium to spread the message to the masses. Really thankful ma'am.
Wonderful video Gita Ji. Bharat is changing. Ancient wisdom is coming back into a new world to a generation which sincerely wants to learn about their beloved culture.
Mami thank you so much for enlightening the present generation who have no idea what is the significance of all this. It was explained so beautifully by you. I follow Advaita Vedanta and towards the end when you talked about the oneness and interconnectedness of everything, I was filled with tears. Many many thanks to you for your beautiful work. May you and your family be always blessed and be filled with happiness. God bless you always!

Thanks for spreading the info. Every year on Pitra paksha amavasya, my Mom cooks elobrate food and offer them to our Ancestors. After that offering is distributed to Cows, Crows, Dogs. She then offer Raw Rice, Pulses, vegetables( mostly potatoes) to Pandit. She even keeps things with my Dad likes to do in front of his photo. My dad was mad abt reading newspaper so mom keeps that too. She even donates some Pens to kids on his memory becoz my dad loved to collect Pens.
Very well presented Mam , thank u for putting it across in simple language .didnt want to stop anywhere wish u could do so on other important religious issues too , 👌🙏🏽
